Man says he's scaling back and drops a fire new intro on us.
😂😂😂❤
Hahahaha for real dude. This caused him to take a month off in August lol
It’s nice. I like how it shows the big stars of the time all the way to mid card stars like Kidman hitting that shooting star
Plus the combined rawnitro text is awesome
My Man can't help himself. He goes beyond the call for us fans. Ryan 🙌
That “Kev calling Bischoff estrogen boy” just reminded me of how he played a guy in the longest yard where his pills were swapped for estrogen pills if I remember correctly. Man, that movie was fun.
When this series ends you have to do a poll so we can vote on our favorite running jokes of the series.
Quite obviously Bratwurst.
Too many good ones
@@justinwalker5742one of my favourites, aswell as all the CHINLOCK jokes 🤣
There's only one muffugin answer

That Evolution spot was legitimately GOLD! I died laughin 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Someone needs to make a full version of it

New intro, new thumbnail image, new Reliving The War logo... I like it!
Hogan killed the Wolfpac all right...
What until NWO Elite puts an end to the LWO group. WWE may be tempted to do something similar when they end their current version of the LWO group with Brock Lesnar.
I always think to myself “I hope he never touches the intro again, it’s perfect this time.” And I’m always thrilled when a new one drops.
Can’t believe 1999 is just around the corner awesome stuff.
@@michaelsinger4638WCW pulls so far ahead, they end up miles behind.
Break the walls dooooooooooown!!!
1999 is entertaining but the match quality really drops in a few places
@@troywright359yep wwf matches especially in 99 are hot garbage
Still funny how Vince McMahon won the 1999 Royal Rumble. I remember so many people saying that it was the worst Rumble match ever.
Not a Fatality, but a BRETTALITY! Such a great cut 😂 appreciate you and your team's hard work, as always
Hitman Wins
Thats been the best one so far xD
TOASTY
After months of not knowing how to book Bret "The Hitman" Hart: "Maybe we should use him like a Hitman."
I guess my camping trip will have to wait an hour. Horseman business comes first!
If Vince Russo is going to be blamed for the questionable things that occurred, he should be given the credit he deserves for this entire lead up to the tournament and how the tournament plays out.
Definitely he had a role in both WWF and Wcw during the Monday night wars success
I couldn't agree more. I've been saying this for years. Somewhere along the line it became popular for internet wrestling fans to act like everything he ever did was terrible. WWF and TNA still haven't seen the rating heights they saw when Russo was booking
@@richspeck8932they hate when you bring that up
The Evolution lawyers joke has to me my favorite this episode, popped me

This series has gotten me through a lot of rough Thursdays. You're a real jam up guy!
The Big Boss and Austin segment is one of my favorites! Hahaha...they should've had a bigger feud! The Authority vs The Anti Authority! That would've been perfect during the Attitude Era!
It's a shame Bossman was basically a lower midcard guy for most of the attitude era. I always thought he was awesome and hilarious.
@@phillipcummings3518, I used to hate him as a kid. But that's because he was such a good heel.
@@phillipcummings3518 Big Boss Man was at his peak during the early 90s in how much energy he had, his charisma, and how quick he was.
Thursdays are my roughest work days every week, this series makes it manageable. You're out here doing the Lords work Brother. Thank you.
Man the good old days of wrestling..the late 90s..my wonderful teenage years..i got to enjoy the best era in wwf..love this channel..💖👍
The reason I love Thursdays.
The Big Bossman was so awesome during this period
Until he had to actually step into the ring..
Righ
Jim Ross: "THE ROCK IS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE"
What I love about RTW is that I can finally tell my wife on Thursday nights: "Nah girl, my show's on."
The Bratwurst would be proud
Watching the beginning of the WCW downfall is heartbreaking
The cracks in WCW have now turned into holes
98 should’ve been a great year for them with that roster. Watching them drop the ball time after time this year is rough
@@MR.__G I was a HUGE fan of WCW. It was like watching a family break up..
@@jmhproductions7335 & sadly it gets darker
Good, you get to see who's fault it actually is. GOLDBERG. Losing Jericho was the first part.
Only recently found this channel and i must say its a masterpiece for all Wrestling fans. I hope you enjoy your break! gives me a chance to catch up on a lot of your videos before you return 🙌
The production on this show just gets better and better
WCW buillding towards who knows what anymore, while The Fed build towards the first Rock v Austin at Mania. This fight is over.
Everybody remembers Rick Rude being on Raw & Nitro on the same night, but no one talks about Bret Hart being on Nitro to wrestle then quickly traveling to Raw just to tell Road Dogg to Shut Up every week LoL Not fair 😂😅
The Corporate Champ is coming! My favorite version of The Rock! ❤
"Shut up, this ain't sing-a-long with the Champ." I loooooved this Rock.
@corkscrewfoley Vince: The Corporate champion my champion give it for The Rock vince looked like a proud father in that promo after Survivor Series 98! 😁
Hyped for "Deadly Game"! One of the best ppvs in history.
One of the first ppvs I remember watching as a kid
Unreal title theme too
This may have been the episode where WCW "Jumped the Shark"
I'm glad you're taking a break. I'll miss the content, but personal well-being should always come first! Also, you know its a good show when the thumbnail has Scott Steiner mid rant
I had just celebrated my first year in the military when this aired. It's crazy how long ago that seems. Thanks for all the hard work you put in for us. When this episode aired it was the third day of my first deployment, the only reason I seen this episode was because we stopped to pick up our air wing in Coronado and I wouldn't see another episode until April of 99.
Terri made the deployment much easier (if ya know ya know)
The content he pumps out on his breaks are almost always better than most channels on their best days. Amazing.
This was one of the few good Bret Stories in WCW, and Jim Ross’ call when Kane was about to lite up the brood 😂
Best weekly show in the history of mankind. Next two Thursdays are gonna suck but enjoy your break brother!! You deserve it!
The road dogg brett one this week has fire 🔥
Think of how much better the world would be had Hogan been president in 2000-2008
Thanks so much for this upload. I was active-duty Marine Corps during this time and couldn't watch the wars, so your updates during late '98 are MUCH appreciated. Enjoy the break: you deserve it!
The Bret Hart "Shut Up." gets better and better each week
That Mortal Kombat clip with Road Dogg and Bret Hart was awesome! I loved it! 😅😅😅
The Rock and his death stare. 😂
I thought you were taking a break. I was not ready for this
Wow, the Nitro and Raw that happened the day after I was born! I cannot wait to see what happened. Also, glad you’re taking another break Wrestling Bios, you deserve it with how much you put into these vids.
Awesome work Ryan, Enjoy your break you deserve it & thank you for keeping us entertained on thursday nights.
Alright! You put my boy Kidman in the opening intro! That's what I'm talking about! 👏👏👏😁😁😁
I am gonna miss there the reliving the war series but I understand needing to take a break. Recharge and refresh enjoy your vacation man, well deserved.
New thumbnail and intro format?! This series keeps getting better and better.
The Evolution bit was classic.😂😂😂
I'm not sure where I saw it but somewhere on RUclips, it was said the reason the Rock was wearing a shirt during this time, as opposed to his normal ring attire, was because he had recently had surgery for reducing man boobs but being as he was getting a heavy push at the time, he didn't want to sit out while the scars healed. And potentially lose out on his heavy push at the time.
That's basically it.
I can't believe WCW had the current IWGP champion on their roster and had the belt defended against *Lodi* on Nitro. God.
Also as someone who was a big WCW fan as a kid (seems most people who watch these grew up WWF fans) it's really interesting to go back and watch this stuff with a fresh perspective. The Wolf Pack, as over as they were, sure didn't do very much. And it's really stark to see what a better job WWF has done over the last few months using their talent while WCW has spun their wheels with the NWO, not recycling the same stuff over and over.
I'll never get why the Wolfpack were so popular. They didn't do anything interesting, at times it seems like they were non-factors to the story and lot fo their stuff comes off as dudes near their 40s trying to act like they are 20.
@@denniswilliams6519looking back now with a fresh perspective they didn’t amount to a single thing. All of that just to end up with nwo.. let me also point out that sting on the Wolfpack has aged horribly. Nothing good came of out of that besides looking cool with red paint lol
The Wolfpac was in trouble from the start as it was supposed to be Macho's faction only for Macho to end up on the shelf with injury weeks later. Then Sting ends up needing time out and they stupidly break up the Outsiders as well.
By this point they're just 3 guys and Lex is massively out of place there.
The worst part is, there's no payoff at all, War Games gets ruined with Ultimate Warrior nonsense and the only time Nash and Hogan face off in the ring we get the screwjob.
The Wolfpac was over because Nash and Konnan were over, and because WCW still had momentum and goodwill built up from 1996 and 1997, by early 1999 it's all flushed down the toilet.
Love the new Intro...reliving the war is the best weekly wrestling show right now
Love the new intro..
One of my favorite weekly shows to watch while im on my lunchbreak from work. Its going to suck not seeing these reliving the war episodes for the next two weeks but with that said enjoy your break and looking forward to when you come back
"shut up".. I died lmao.
Always look forward to it. Keep it up!
Didn't catch the later period of the War first time around. This tube is just as good at covering "new" (to me) material as the older stuff about which I am able to reminisce. Must just be good. Thanks again.
Love the rebrand bro. I hope I get to meet the legend himself one day to actually see the man that makes my Thursday nights (and occasional Sundays and Tuesdays) so special.
You’re hoping to meet some random midget smark d0rk who’s …?
Fantastic production as always
The Steve Blackman commentary will always get me.Thanks Wrestling bios for the great content and the laughs. We love your hardwork
Bro this was quality right here! I will never regret finding your channel and watching your videos man.
You liek listening to this d0rk mark out over non-drawing IWC darlings? Nice 👍🏾
I been waiting on reliving the war!
That intro is badass!!
Loving the new logo and intro.
Like the new intro and title design. Have been enjoying the series from the start, interesting to see what I missed post 1997. Keep up the good work.
Enjoy your holiday Wrestling Bios
I can hear jim ross through the picture 'look at the rock's eyes!'
12:40 - The moment you are looking forward to.
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO the random glizzy eater during Alex Wrileys part has me tearing
Best part of the week!! Thursday nights reliving the war!
Prayers to Lodi for a full recovery from surgery after suffering a heart attack.
I Absolutely Love The New Rebranding!! Keep Up The Great Work As Always!!
I wait till Friday to watch these. Makes the end of my week that much sweeter. 😂
Simply the best you tube channel out there 🎉 thank you so much and enjoy the time off
Hell Yeah! Glad your back bro. Hey for your Next Character Bio. You should do New Jack, Brian Pillman Or Terry Funk.
Man i pray you have a fire Deadly Game remix for the SS98 episode 😭
My head says it's Thursday afternoon. My _heart_ says it's Monday night, and the war is on!
It probably didn't help that while Bischoff was just doing the same ole same old as his on screen character, Vince was adding new absurd layers to the Mr. McMahon character and cementing his place as the top heel in the business. Was like night and day especially at this period.
Steiner was the best heel in the business, especially going forward
I lost it when the Evolution music played while the 3 nerdy wcw “lawyers” walked down the aisle😂
Love the new intro! It looks amazing.
Ok, I am liking the new intro!! Major props!!
The Rock cut one of his best promos on this night.
"Mark Henry's fatass" 😂🤣
Seeing how Jericho has acted and lied over the past two decades it's really not hard to see why they didn't want to get him a match with Goldberg.
Jericho never drew a cent
Nice 😂 I thought he was taking a break awesome 👍
All the cruiser weights getting buried in the mid card, meanwhile we have Judy Bagwell in a major feud. Makes sense to me
No doubt the hardest working RUclipsr. Greatest wrestling channel to ever exist
Really like the new logo for both the channel and the reliving storyline!!!!
29:10 kick or be kickin makes a comeback! 😆
Dayuuum what a rebrand, love it!!
Love the new intro and graphics! Just found out that Lodi suffered a major heart attack. Hope he's ok.
New logo looks better than AEWs logos … good work
Nice new intro to Thursday Afternoon Jericho (aka Reliving the War, the best weekly show on RUclips).
Listen man, if it means getting Thursday bangers like this, take all the time you need brother ❤💯💪🏾
LOL the Saturday Wright Fever lines are KILLING me 🤣🤣🤣
One of the greatest heel runs of the Attitude Era will begin soon!
Cuban Drug Lord Rock
"He's a millionaire"
Yikes. That whole thing was beyond cringe
What happened with Jericho/Goldberg is the perfect encapsulation of just how poorly run WCW already was by this point. Management literally allowed Jericho to spend months (MONTHS!!!!) cutting promos where he poked fun at Goldberg, knowing that they were never going to actually do anything with any of this, and when they wind up actually having a moment when Goldberg has absolutely no storyline or even a planned match for a secondary PPV like World War III they just kill the entire thing off, despite having allowed Jericho to build up a program all this time by himself & having the perfect opportunity to bring it all to a proper end with a squash match at the PPV, simply because Goldberg took himself too seriously & didn't want to play ball.
In short, WCW let one of their talent effectively go renegade on the mic for an extended period of time, never told him to stop because they don't have any plans to do anything with it, and when they inadvertently find themselves with the perfect chance to go ahead with what their rogue talent has been building up... they kill it dead ASAP. They should have either told Jericho "No" once he started doing those promos or they should have told Goldberg "It won't hurt your credibility at all, just do it", simple as that.
They should have totally booked the Jericho vs Goldberg match. Book it for Nitro. It could have been an epic squash match, Goldberg wins, and then have Jericho pull out the rule book and claim he actually won ala the way he was doing things with Malenko. Or they could have totally given Jericho the spot that they gave Bret Hart with the Steel Plate allowing Jericho to do the cocky pin, have Ralphus count the 3 and claim another unofficial victory. Anything that kept Jericho's streak going till an actual PPV blow-off match where Goldberg wins properly.
Ultimately a chance for Greenberg to pad his stats and move the loss of the World Championship further along, Greenberg didn't see this as he was that focussed on the "Main Event".
@@Liamrd28nor should he have. Jericho was a joke
12:42: a Mortal Kombat reference! Kudos to creators Ed Boon and John Tobias for that! Flawless Victory!
My new favorite Bret Hart Road Dogg shut up clip 😂
Love watching this show. Hope you have a great break as well
That's not just any chinlock....that's the MUFUGGIN CHINLOCK!
The warrior heading back to parts unknown
I have been waiting for this episode. I'm a Scott Norton fan and when he power bombed Lodi I was sure he had snapped him in half. Thank you for letting me see that epic move one more time!
Love the New logo for Reliving the War
Almost as cool as the few times Raw and Nitro would be hosting seperate shows in the same state was when WCW and WWF would be live from a region of the country that was traditionaly the other promotions home turf, you really get a good sense of just how popular the business was at the time and we get 2-fer this week with Raw coming to us from Texas and Nitro from Uniondale New York.
I didn't recognize this was a reliving the war because of the logo change. Glad RUclips kept recommending it so i didn't miss the episode
