This is honestly something I look forward to every week. Having watched all this as a kid, getting a compressed version with humor thrown in makes it even better.
I went to that raw. It was a largely uneventful taping but it was long with them filming Shotgun, Raw and Heat. Fun fact the DX main event was actually the 1st thing they taped for raw that night. The event ended with an in-ring segment only for the live crowd with Vince,Shane and Austin. Vince escaped by throwing Shane into a stunner and then Vince ran to the back. As we were leaving Vince ran to a waiting limo.
Can you imagine what this series will be like when it ends? I feel like the series really helped Wrestling Bios develop their online personality and flow.
I'd rather he end it on the last show before WM 17 or the last Nitro before Final Nitro. The WWF/WWE brand split doesn't quite feel like a conflict than it is Don King pitting two of his own boxers against each other, the boss earns the revenue either way.
@Mr. Fables That or go up to X8 when the big names of WCW, ECW and WWF were on the card together. That would probably be a coda to the series after X7.
Cultaholic did a ranking video on the turns & they had the number of Paul Wight turns somewhere in the high twenties or low thirties, IIRC. I can’t recall if it had WCW included or if that was strictly WWF.
well hello a year later according to WrestleTalk list on their website Paul Wight turned heel and face a whopping 36 times Well i was wrong since debuts do not count it is 34 still a huge number
Another one was Norman smiley. I had completely forgotten about him until I saw him on reliving the war. Such a good wrestler. Sucks they never found him something that worked
Does anyone else still listen to The Union Underground (they sing the Across the Nation RAW theme)? South Texas Deathride is still a pretty good album. :)
One of the main differences between WWF and WCW was WCW had no idea how to book a wrestling show. Had WCW had WWFs booking team they would have won the war in 97.
11:17 was Rick Rude auditioning to be an outlaw henchman gunslinger in a Lifetime TV movie? This man use to have the best hair and mustache in the entire wrestling business. Now he looks like security detail for Alan Jackson.
somehow the comment about how jim looks like he wrestled an ironman match as his match started made me laugh uncontrolably. i think it was the delivery combined with how unexpected it was.
So, some Lowell MA history for everyone. You're looking at a brand new venue - the Tsongas Center/Arena opened in January of '98. 25 years later, it's still an impressive facility, and it gives the local university's hockey team a significant recruiting advantage.
I remember Bull Pain from GWF where they tried to give him a mid-card heel push before he was one of the many guys who stopped appearing when the money was found to be non-existent.
Thank u for doing such a great job with all these videos, brings back a ton of memories when me and the family gathered together to watch wrestling on Monday nights.
This series has reminded me why I hated February Dog Shows and August/ September Tennis. Cannot wait for Wrestlemania X-7 and celebrate this entire 5+ year journey…
I love this series, been recommending it to everyone who I meet who's a wrestling fan. I had a thought on something we could do once we reach the end of the war could be watching the Monday Night Wars WWE series and comparing what they say in the show to what we know from watching it what actually happened.
You really have to give credit to Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. From the hate he got when he 1st debuted to becoming The Most Electrifying Man in all of Entertainment
You very much downplayed "episode 150" and I, as I'm sure so many of us, just want to thank you for being the "getaway" that I look forward to every week. Such a wonderful job.
I hate red face sting, why couldn't he have kept the white face but with red details? Or red and black details like he would eventually do in tna? He looks either embarrassed or sunburnt.
I was at this taping of Raw, it was shot like a week before and they also taped Shotgun Saturday NIght and Sunday Night Heat the same night, hence the weirdly deprecated card for this episode.
As a wrestling and tennis fan (weird i know), these US Open years were absolutely HUGE. American tennis had Sampras, Agassi, Davenport, Seles, and the beginning of the Williams sisters and Andy Roddick. Flushing Meadows, NY turned into a rock concert for 2 weeks more or less. It seems silly to think of it now but as big as WWF had become, this is when tennis was still a big deal in the USA.
I couldn't figure out why I woke up so early today when I have to work tonight. Then I realized it is Thursday and the new RTW was dropping. Happy episode 150 friends!
"and Jericho comes crashing down, and he hurts inside, but nobody cares." I legit laughed out loud, brother.
I love those subtle lines he throws in from time to time.
My favorite internet show.
You’re dam right
The best on this platform!
Literally this show is top teir RUclips!
Bret's face over Cutman's sprite while flexing is the stuff of legend, bravo.
This is honestly something I look forward to every week. Having watched all this as a kid, getting a compressed version with humor thrown in makes it even better.

The ongoing Bret Hart "shut up" gag still cracks me up.
Man, I love these ongoing "Shut up" clips in various different ways.
Can you imagine what this series will be like when it ends?
I feel like the series really helped Wrestling Bios develop their online personality and flow.
I hope it transitions to the ‘02 E draft and Carrie’s on from there… but let’s not think about that and just enjoy.
Let's enjoy the next 4 or so years and see what happens in 2027

Raw Vs smackdown brand split series
Ahhh, let me sit back and bask in the nostalgia. Thank you WB!
"Jim Neidhardt looks like he's already wrestled an iron man match as the bell rings" 😆
Makes me stop and think how many face and heel turns Paul Wight had his in his career from WCW to the WWE. Like damn
Cultaholic did a ranking video on the turns & they had the number of Paul Wight turns somewhere in the high twenties or low thirties, IIRC. I can’t recall if it had WCW included or if that was strictly WWF.

Thank you wrestling bios with 4 boys I genuinely look forward to this break while I watch this fantastic series
Keep going strong Dad.
Those boys are gonna grow up to be great men with a strong father in their corner 💪
@330wiz7 thank you
40 year old, Dad of 2 boys.
Same, Brother. This show is such a welcome respite. 🍻
It REALLY should’ve been Bart Gunn Vs Bradshaw.
I think it would’ve been fire.
I’ve been waiting for this episode, I was born the very next day. Cool to see what things were like right before.
Not that these dates line up but happy belated bday brother.
Enjoy the nostalgia 💪
Forgot it was Thursday!!!!
Let's go boys 💪
Hope everyone is having a great day.
Keep working hard you got this 💪
Almost 3 years of "Reliving the War." Wow!
Sting's jumping DDT was so smooth! Love it when he goes all out like that!
I was born in Sept of 1996, so I got into wrestling well after the Monday night wars ended, this show is great to really see how it all went down.
“Chris comes crashing down and it hurts inside.”
I’m dying
☠️😂☠️😂☠️
Ernest Miller is one of those underrated unsung heroes of WCW in it’s dying days
I liked how the Cat referred to Scott Steiner as "Big Poppa Dump"
He shouldnt have... he was the 3 time worlds karate champion
Another one was Norman smiley. I had completely forgotten about him until I saw him on reliving the war. Such a good wrestler. Sucks they never found him something that worked
To me the wiggle was over
@@FredDoGG1985 yea for sure but it wasn’t really a lasting persona/gimmick.
Does anyone else still listen to The Union Underground (they sing the Across the Nation RAW theme)? South Texas Deathride is still a pretty good album. :)
Happy sesquicentennial, WB! Congrats on 150 episodes of being a jam-up guy!
I've been waiting on this video all day. Henning and Rick Rude's promo was simply...perfect lol
Wcw from like 97 to even around 2000 had the best midcard and somehow managed to f it up
One of the main differences between WWF and WCW was WCW had no idea how to book a wrestling show. Had WCW had WWFs booking team they would have won the war in 97.
Thursdays are the best day of the week because another awesome episode of Reliving the War this series is amazing.
11:17 was Rick Rude auditioning to be an outlaw henchman gunslinger in a Lifetime TV movie? This man use to have the best hair and mustache in the entire wrestling business. Now he looks like security detail for Alan Jackson.
2 1/2 Star Frog Splash Lmmfao! Also Bull Pain wrestled in Memphis USWA too. He had Ms. Samantha as his valet/manager.
somehow the comment about how jim looks like he wrestled an ironman match as his match started made me laugh uncontrolably. i think it was the delivery combined with how unexpected it was.
You can blame the Tennis Tournament for the 2 weeks of Saturday Raw for not being good
Maybe next week, Reliving the War will show that famous Mr. Perfect/Genius vignette of table tennis.
Genius: Perfect: 10, You: Nothing, Game Point.
So, some Lowell MA history for everyone. You're looking at a brand new venue - the Tsongas Center/Arena opened in January of '98. 25 years later, it's still an impressive facility, and it gives the local university's hockey team a significant recruiting advantage.
This guy gets it. When things come crashing down, you must follow with "and it hurts inside". That's just how it goes.
Let me tell you something, brother. You'd better be careful, brother. You're getting close to gimmick infringement, brother.
I'm just working through this series now. This is top tier content. Well done sir.
the Mousse T / Val theme mash up outro SLAPS
Thank you for welcoming me back, even though this is the most awesome video series in all of RUclips and I couldn't possibly miss it.
that billy gun and dustin rhodes are still out there working today is just amazing.
How about an Ocarina of Time edit for Road Dogg where he opens a chest to find Bret Hart
😂😂😂
@@burritoboy2751 ASK AND I SHALL RECEIVE
Was not disappointed
It's like I'm 10 again every time I watch these! I can almost smell the Mt Dew Code Red and 3D Doritos 😂
Man. Anvil looked so effed up. :(
They shouldn't have let him wrestle at this point.
What an interesting line....
If the 4horsemren couldn't survive then what chance did the flock have?
I remember Bull Pain from GWF where they tried to give him a mid-card heel push before he was one of the many guys who stopped appearing when the money was found to be non-existent.
We are almost getting to my favorite storyline the corporation vs Austin and all the key moments from it
Best part of the week is here again I just love Thursday evenings with a smoke a drink and a bit of RTW
It's so much fun looking back at this amazing time in wrestling history! A part of me still miss these glory days. Keep up the great work!
New RTW and Inside no9, Thursdays are my favourite day of the week
It's like being 10 again on a monday watching this every Thursday
I'm impressed by that Rock Guy.
The crashing down and hurts inside reference got me lol.
Can't wait for next week because I was there at 8 years old hoping Sting could end the streak. The Flair presence was epic
Cannot believe they would give away the end to the DX vs Kai En Tai rivalry on free TV.
LOVE the videos. Always nice to go back and relive these moments, years later.
Perfect timing as always. Can't get enough of The Reliving The War series. Such an amazing time to be a Pro Wrestling fan.
This week's episode is a reminder that after the "Finger Point of Doom," through no fault of Wrestling Bios, the fun in this series officially ends.
@@XtremeEffect It's the overall quality of WCW that falls apart. You'll fast forward all of stuff.
Thank u for doing such a great job with all these videos, brings back a ton of memories when me and the family gathered together to watch wrestling on Monday nights.
My favourite wrestling channel by a country mile..
Forget Undertaker vs. Sting. Ernest Miller vs. Steve Mufuggin' Blackman is the dream match we never got.
Excited to see 200 and more! The best wrestling channel on RUclips, hands down.
It's Thursday afternoon and you know what that means!! Thursday is seriously my favorite day of the week now.
Didn't remember Al Snow being so jacked around this time.
This series has reminded me why I hated February Dog Shows and August/ September Tennis. Cannot wait for Wrestlemania X-7 and celebrate this entire 5+ year journey…
I loved the DX assisted X Factor, also the Ultimate Warrior appearing and disappearing
I love this series, been recommending it to everyone who I meet who's a wrestling fan.

Well done for reaching 150 episodes. Thanks for the content become a big fan
I love this series! please continue this type of work when you finally do finish 'the war'.
I appreciate the hard work you do to make these videos!
We all do! Best wrestling channel out there!
Nah you need to celebrate thoses Reliving the War milestones because they ain't coming back.
Congrats on 150 ! i watched every one of them
The warriors savage cabbage had me in stitches lol. Really look forward to this every Thursday, your work is highly appreciated. Thank you.
I hate red face sting, why couldn't he have kept the white face but with red details? Or red and black details like he would eventually do in tna? He looks either embarrassed or sunburnt.
I absolutely love Wolfpack sting. He was this thing I was introduced to. So that might be the reason plus I was a total Mark for the wolfpac
Always look forward to RTW every Thursday! The Bret Hart/Road Dogg segments are always great!
Best day of the week thanks wrestling bios for the best damn series there ever was
"And Chris Jericho comes crashing down and it hurts inside" is an underrated line lol
Brand New Reliving The War
Thanx Wrestling Bios 😎👍
Been waiting all week!
Bro I lose it every time you use the "Baaaaang!" clip lmao
I never want this series to end.
Love this channel and series
I was at this taping of Raw, it was shot like a week before and they also taped Shotgun Saturday NIght and Sunday Night Heat the same night, hence the weirdly deprecated card for this episode.
People don't know this, but "The Cat" Ernest Miller was the creator and innovator of the "Dabb" 🤣
Another amazing episode of my favorite show ever!!! Thanks for the hard work you put in on this and all the rest of your uploads 😊
Rejoice once more, Ryan is here to regale us with tales of big bratwursts and robot monsters!
It's Thursday night and you know what that means! Reliving the War is here again!
Another Thursday another reliving the war episode another well spent Thursday afternoon. Thanks bro......
You should upload these on Mondays to fit the Reliving the War concept.
This Megaman clip at 32:51 killed me. Great stuff! lol
Thank you so much for doing this but I don't want it to end you are so great at this i look forward to it every week
Yeeeeeees!!!! Thursdays are always an exciting day thanks to Reliving the War!!
Thanks for your videos man I have been having rough day your series helps me out
This is an amazing series. Thanks for doing this. Great quality too!

Thursday is the best day for wrestling fans, cause that means a new Reliving the War drops!!
Congrats on 150. You keep killing it.
You could argue this is when Scott Steiner hit his stride with his character.
Been rockin with u since day 1...keep up the good work and thanks for the great content!!
Bro you are a Legend! Been with you since the start, makes me so glad to see your hard work pay off and to the channel grow so much
OMG! I did not expect Cartman to talk when you showed him with Jerry Lawler! Great Stuff my man XD!!!!!
Waiting for the inevitable Castlevania: Symphony of the Night "Shaddap" moment
Me and my dad watch this and i have to say, you make my day
I couldn't figure out why I woke up so early today when I have to work tonight. Then I realized it is Thursday and the new RTW was dropping. Happy episode 150 friends!
