    Frankly, I am more excited about the P100s. These ones are too heavy, fold into a huge awkward triangle that can't be carried. They are fast sure, but so are many scooters on the market already. Not very usable.

      I think it also, but i don’t like some choice they made in p100 so yeah, i think gt1 is better choice for me…not a fan of powerful motor but i’m more leaning to better motor…which frankly, the more power they output, the better parts require. So yeah, i don’t need 2wd or crazy acceleration. Gt1 mark nearly all the best feature i wanted for my second e-kickscooter… but the price is also what I concerned…specially how they can deliver it to small country, it’s availability and so on.

      Well in regards to the gt1, the p100s walks all over it, speed isnt quite as high but youll get more then double the range. and pay about half.

    so basically the only function of folding down the handles is to place it in small areas like your car but you cant really carry it. i assume it's super heavy to carry however it would have been nice to have something to grip onto while you lower it from your car like i do my Ninebot max.

    • @landpet

      It's more to fit it into a smaller place but this thing is big and heavy which does make it stable when you're going fast but not exactly portable.

    For me I would opt to save money and have a much more portable scooter with far more range with the P100S. If I’m going the GT route the GT2 sounds like the option I’ll be happiest with the longest between more power and more range.
    One thing a lot of people forget is you should get a scooter that has a higher top speed than you plan on driving regularly so that the range estimates are more accurate.
    My only major problem with GT2 is that it shuts off at 3%

    • @ricardorodriguesrr18

  • @mrmartinbusek

    It looks great... But I hate two things already.
    The throttle. I think that motorbike like throttle does not belong on electric scooter, because it's just totally different safety wise. Thumb throttle would be much better and safer.
    I think IPX4 is not good enough and IPX 6 or 7 would be much better. People want to commute on these and guess what... Sometimes it's raining.
    I don't mind the weight so much as I never have to carry my Escooter (Dualtron Spider).
    So, Ninebot, please, improve water resistance before official release... And throttle please.
    Then I'll buy it 100%.

      Motorcycle throttle is a No for me, scooters handle different and are used differently as well, thumb throttle conversion would be nice. • @Jonasegway
      @Jonasegway 2 года назад +2

      Get a vsett 10+R or a Dualtron Victor instead. They are both under 76lbs and perform much better then either Segway. Vsett would match the segway's water resistance if that's something important

    • @LorenzoNW
      @LorenzoNW 2 года назад +2

      @@Jonasegway Thanks for your response. I haven't heard of the R model. The Vsett website rates 10+ at 79lbs. The other model I'm considering is the Apollo City Pro 2022. Any opinion on that one?
      In the Vsett line, I'm guessing the 9+ would be adequate for me. I weigh 160lbs and plan on using a scooter for urban commuting in Seattle. One friend seemed to think that while the Apollo City Pro 2022 is the more expensive of the two, the added cost goes into higher build quality and better components.

    • @Jonasegway
      @Jonasegway 2 года назад +2

      @@LorenzoNW now the Apollo 2022 is another GREAT scoot. I think I am getting the just of what you are looking for. I have this feeling that the Apollo wouldn't be a big enough of a jump of an upgrade to recommend it over the vsett 10+R but then again you mentioned the vsett 9.
      The vsett 9 is ok and would perform .much better then a ninebot Max 30. Here's something to consider....what I highly recommend you do is get a piece of paper.
      Write down a bunch of things but start with things/features you NEED your next scooter to have. Keep in mind your typical riding environment so you know if you require a specific suspension design, portability, if certain creature comforts are necessary like anti puncture tires, empty handlebar space etc etc. I want you to sit down and think of EVERYTHING.
      If speed is important to you, just know that the ninebot is the only scooter that actually goes the speed they advertise where the speedo matches the GPS speed or is very very close. All of these other brands have been as much as 5.5mpg slower then their indicated speed readings.
      I need you to think about everything. Then take all of the scooters you have interest in and see which checks the most boxes. Them see if it goes your price point. This back and fourth took me almost 2months before I landed on the nami.
      I could only speak for the scooters I've ridden or have done extensive research on. One thing you can bet is I am always going to give you an unbiased answer. Your needs is more important to me then fanboying and trying to rub it off on you.
      In my honest opinion? If I were to give you a cut dry answer based off all the models you mentioned....for the money...I would get the Apollo phantom BUT the 60v model which is on pre-order. I'm not sure if I would go with a vsett 9+. It seems underpowered and for the money doesn't bring more value then the Apollo in my opinion.
      All in all. You need to make that list or we will be going in circles for a while.

    Having come from ( 2 separate Segway G30 Max's.) In ( Australia) And a Kaabo Mantis Elite!
    I'm worried about the tire changes & the bearing replacements/ servicing on these straight up .. because with no workshop surrporting you. You pretty much have to do the repairs YA SELF 😬 and though i haven't had to change a tire. ( i know how much of a pain in the ass they are to do lol. ) I'm also worried on repairs to the bearings as I've had to replace two once before on my older Max. ( NOT FUN ) so I'm really hoping they go the route of a split style rim? Like a Kaabo Mantis Elite or pro for example. Or something along those lines as I'm pretty sure this is a tubeless tyre! And this would be a nightmare to do at home 🏡 especially for ppl with no mechanical background 🤷‍♂️
    There's no official IP water rating that i can see either?? Hmm 🤔 also no Volt specs on motor or motors for the GT2 having two.
    No AH on battery either?? Only a watt hour rating which concerns me atm.
    Not to mention these are very pricey! I would expect GT1 to be around $1500 to $1800 AUD. And the GT2 to be around the same price as a Kaabo Mantis Elite or pro! Around the $3500 AUD. But these are well over that in western Australia. Ya looking at 4k roughly for the GT1 without its discounted sale of $3300AUD. And the GT2 is like $6200!! AUD Wahhh 😱
    I'm a big fan of the look at the features but these things are pricey. And I'll be on the fence about these or even comminting to either without a ESG review of ( Real world riding conditions ) and i think slot world feel the same. But still pretty cool :)

      They both have advantages, I felt like I had more control with this one but one flaw I noticed with this was when I was applying the brake, I did accidentally move the throttle to accelerate only cause of my hand movement which doesn't happen with the thumb throttles. But this throttle is very accurate.

      @@landpet Id say if your use to riding a motorcycle, you'd find this kind of throttle easy to use, just takes time to get the feel of it

      @@landpet I just don't the idea of my rear foot being tilted up like that. And if I wanted to avoid doing that, my feet would basically be side by side, which doesn't feel right to me. Thanks for showing foot placement, though. That helped me see just how short it really was.

    Looks like good build quality but at 114lbs it's heavier than my Nami hyper scooter which is much quicker, higher top speed, and has more range. Deck should be longer. Inlet for front foot should be on the sides not in the center. No one rides with foot in center. Good shallow angle kick plate for rear foot. Poor range with small battery. Poor folding size. Who is this scooter for?
