ST2 Pro Tires are smaller than the GT2 Wheel size seems to be the same as the P100S, 10.5" instead of 11".
People are asking Segway why they keep putting Tiny Battery in their high performance electric scooters? Answer: Regulations a lot of state are pushing for ridiculous government regulations on scooters now.., especially a lot of apartments now saying you can bring the scooter inside because of the battery size Segway wants to make sure that the scooters always fit the regulations to make sure you can take it anywhere

Right on man, another awesome video! You got me thinking about if i should get the ST2 Pro or not lol! As of right now i only have 3 scooters, i started with a Segway MAX G2 them started to crave more power so i got a GT1 to hold me off while my Inmotion RS pre order would eventually be shipped by VoroMotors, then i started to want more range amd my RS arrived and its been pretty great but now i would like something that is still fast, has decent range and is a bit less heavier than my GT1 or RS bur still Dual motors since i live around Inclines. 😅
I actually think the RS is a perfect match for us heavier guys, or GT3 for our style of riding
@KiziEwheels agreed, maybe i should just wait to see if Segway comes out with a GT3. 😁👊
How do you compare the handling on the inmotion rs and gt1? In my gt1 i can ride 1 hand 38 mph. So so so stable
@tazerz9 in all honesty there is no comparison, even though i have modified my steering damper so its way more stable at high speeds. The GT1 is way more solidly built. The GT1 wins when it comes to stability.
@@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 i just got a gt2 and having a front motor makes handling more difficult and 2wd in eco the acceleration is just too much and driving 1wd feels just too heavy. So the gt1 is the true champion. I wish i had 30ah battery. Im loving my gt2 tho. Having my gt1 for almost 2 years. The power and acceleration is crazy on the gt2
I have a GT1 but I wish I got the GT2. If I ever see the GT2 price drop to 2K again I'll grab it. But I hope Segway comes out with GT3 next year.
It's $2500 right now I already ordered mine
@@jadenweaver7529 Yeah. But the lowest I've seen the GT2 go for was $2000 last year in September. Also with the arrival of newer super scooters, I'm sure Segway will have that same price drop this year.
I need a BELL for my GT2. Anyone ever find one that fits?
I absolutely love my GT2 but I moved to an apartment without an elevator and that sucks! 😂 Definitely keep my eye open for the ST2
A lot of people will definitely keep their eyes on the ST2 Pro. I see a lot of potential with the ST2 Pro, but it can’t replace the GT2
Do you want to sell your gt2 ???
How do you clean your deck? Mine is always dusty since I am afraid to hose it.
Release date?
Is the Find My Scooter app available for the ST2 Pro?
Thank you for the good video
Release date? Towards they ending of the year
Is the Find My Scooter app available for the ST2 Pro? yes that's one of the reason it's being delayed Segway ST1 should be coming sooner though
@@KiziEwheelsdamnnn okay, I wish it would come sooner but that’s fine. I appreciate it bro
The ST2 reminds me of a mix between the Segway GT2 or GT1 and the Segway P100! I just bought my first e-scooter one month ago and I got the Segway Ninebot Max G2 for $899 from Amazon Prime and they let you pay $180 in 5 monthly payments with zero interest and zero fees with any Segway e-scooter probably because they are the biggest e-scooter company and probably the most reputable e-scooter brand. The Max G2 is great for my first e-scooter and 22mph is perfect for me and city riding in Philly and 50lbs isn't bad to go up 5 steps to get in my house but the GT1 and GT2 are both over 100lbs and will definitely be harder to carry up 5 steps
Not being a smart a** but my regulations warrant a larger battery, I'm just disappointed because Segway makes such a nice scooter. I recently sold my GT1 because of range, at my weight (210lbs) in my hilly region, 10 miles would be sketchy.
Do you think we could have the ST1 in our hands by December? I’m trying to wait it out, but I need it already bro
I think Segway could sell many more GT's by just removing the firmware limit on the top speed. The current price and the quality is really good but they could capture some of the specs bros.
Agreed. I just wish I could get 50mph out of the gt2
I think 43 mph is fast enough for $2,500! Anything faster than that and you need to wear basically a motorcycle outfit because of them little tires if you fall doing 60 something miles an hour you're going to get messed up if you don't have a whole leather motorcycle outfit on and motorcycle helmet. With the GT2 you can get away with the motorcycle helmet or a Motocross helmet and some Motocross protective gear!
@@The_Cannabis_Connoisseur People should definitely wear protective gear, I wear motorcycle gear for slower speeds than 30. Every 10 mph is at least 1 mm of flesh for road rash, not to mention impacts to the head, elbows, hands, back, hips, knees, or feet.
How stiff does the stem of the st2 feels? mt P100s feels not so stiff and jumpy
?? Where in NYC do you take your gt2 for repairs/basic maintenance?
I live in NYC and I fix mine on my own. It's not crazy hard except tire change.
Also, Segway is using just a steal, not a premium aluminium.. thats why it's so heavy compare to Dualtron or NAMI...
Nami electric scooters are good, but Segway's build quality and after-sales customer service are superior to Nami's.
@KiziEwheels couldnt of said it better. People dog on segway but their quality, craftsman ship and engineering is top notch. Their budget makes kaabo and nami seem like broke buys. Gotta admit I'm still a sucker for a nami klima
But u agree in the fact segway should've made this scooter in that 80-85 pound range
@@KiziEwheelsNami good ... oh whats about the bug it goes on full E-break when battery goes below 25% as it switches mode :)
I'm about to buy an NAMI KLIMA with 30A or 1800Wh battery and it weights only 36kg, compare to ST2 1380Wh and 45Kg.. you choose.
Yes but the important thing is that the segways front wheel setup is less likely to suffer catastrophic failure like the Nami! For that reason, I’d go with Segway over 95% of others for this very reason as they all seem to use similar fragile front wheel & stem set-ups like the nami
Your assistant is georgous. Stunner!
How are you my friend..🙋
I can't understand the sceptical of Segway....🤷
Except of Max g30 (small category) is No1, big scooters as GT1-2 or ST1-2 are a category by them selfs!!
About ST 2 for a 72v scooter can't be compatible with other 72v scooters... Of course is cheaper than a Nami or a kaabo wolf or any others (maybe Lightening can compare)... As you say 3k are allot of money...
About GT2 is the best scooter of Segway right now... BUT....
Is a very difficult scooter!!! Im talking about upgrading this model....😵🥴
About battery.. You can't upgrade the voltage if you want with a "speed battery" to 60v or 72v (scooter not working)
About controller-s.. You can't unlock them!!! The rgp lights, stop and turning signals are 3v (not 5v not 12v) and you can't connect any other light with stock!!
Space for the battery is smaller than your thunder..
About motors.. Are torque motors and event with 72v battery top speed will not exist 50 miles!!
So...Gt1-2 is a very unique scooter with the main issue the small battery!!
Of course GT are MUCH better scooters than the ST...😘
We are waiting parts for a friend GT 2, to upgrade it to 72v35a pack with Samsung 50s cells (same cells with Emove Roadster) and new controllers...😘
Only a Russian guy has upgrade GT ...🚀
I hate 10 inch tires. Will never buy a scooter with 10 inch tires, which is why I own a GT2!
I have one as well. Best scooter ever made imo and I get so many looks and compliments. Also a good conversation starter.
the easily replaceable battery like the roadrunner would be the thing that i would then buy
Also, charging is a full disappointing. I have Dualtron Victor and with same type LG 21700 but a bigger 1800Wh battery I can charge it with 10A(~800W power of charge), in no time like 1h from 10-15% to 100%, thats a really a fast charging is. But this ST2 only comes with a 4A(330W power charger) and it's only 1 port, so charge will take 5h! Thats crazy slow.
Do you guys think that the Segway GT3 will be released in 2025?
The headlights of this car are as high as the high and low beams
Thanks bro
I don't think they will do a GT3, since why sell GT2 for just 2500$ it price was 4000$? Because product was so successful so that why price dropped... you know what I mean?
Don't you think they will release a gt3 with a 72V battery? Non knocking front suspension and with ABS? The GT2 is from 2022, so the GT3 could be announced at CES january 2025?
@@TopG-1991 well, I hope for that, it specially one thing - battery capacity. My current GT2 1500wh is just a sick joke.
