Btw there is regen and electronic brake on the GT1. You have to adjust it in the app. I have both on STRONG and it bring the scooter back from top speed very well and calmly so those two in junction with the hydraulic brakes you get superb braking
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Segway GT1 and providing useful information about the regen and electronic brake features. It's great to see that there are additional options to enhance the scooter's braking capabilities. As a fan of outdoor gear and power products, have you had a chance to explore the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series? It's an impressive powerhouse with a massive capacity, fast recharging, and versatile sockets. It could be a valuable addition to your outdoor adventures or for backup power at home. Happy camping!
Fyi people: currently on sale for 1499$ This is beautifully designed but having just bought one some info: Its much bigger than you think, It's really heavy, Its not portable at all if you've steps this is a struggle to lift. Its a top scooter but id nearly class it as an electronic moped its that big. But it handles exceptionally Is a beautiful ride, Powerful And stunning Just some things to consider. I weighed up this the zu10 or the maxfind g5 pro the gt1 is twice the price but twice the scooter
@mylifepoetic it's fairly close to advertised, I've even got quite a few miles with a 2nd person on It with me on eco. And eco is still 31mph The moter defo didn't like the extra weight though but even with two on it hills no prob
I get 41 miles an hr out of mine! I am just 145 lbs so I am pretty light. It’s a pretty nice scooter. People stop me all the time and compliment the scooter. Not going to lie I hate the way it looks. It’s really steady and feels safe which is why I am keeping it.
Segway coming for the industry’s throat with this product at this price point. Was in the market for an Apollo Pro or Nami Burn-E, but this may be the best bang for your buck!
I'm okay with paying 1000 extra if there were much better features or safety in gt2. If it's only speed difference, I'd rather buy the gt1. Or if the duel motor makes the scooter more safe due to traction control, I'd definitely consider gt2. Is there no dynamic traction control in gt1?@@JohnSmith-bn7bl

There is a part on the handler that can be unlatched / unscrewed and phone holders ect can be fitted. It may only be on the GT2 though. Hope I have ‘kind of’ helped.
38 on an electric scooter feels fast. I have a Wolf King GT Pro which can go 60mph. I rarely go over 30. Scooters are lots of fun, and even tho I don’t go near top speed. I set the torque high and top speed lower so I zoom up to 30-35 in like 3 seconds and stay around that speed. The acceleration of a scooter like the GT1 feels awesome.
I'm the same height and have the same shoe size as yours. When you stepped on it it looked to me like the handlebars were low. High how are they from the deck to the handlebars anways? What's the highest handlebar height scooter you've ridden? Thanks and enjoyed your review of the scooter.
Hey I see u we’re in marina del Rey. Took my daughter there in July and we rode e scooters from. Marina Del Rey to Santa Monica pier and back. Great ride. She was tired after when we were done. I have modded g30 and she has stock g30lp.
The only thing that stopped me from buying the Segway GT1 is the 48 volt battery which only gets you 20 miles at the fastest setting of 37mph! If it had a 60 volt battery it would be perfect. I went with the Kaabo Wolf Warrior X Plus for $100 more and it comes with a 2nd charger, thumb throttle kit and a Kaabo handlebar bag and it goes 44mph and can get 32 miles at it's fastest setting as it was tested on RUclips by ESG and the dual stem is more stable
$1599 is an absolute steal for this scooter. Better in every way than any other scooter at this price point, especially when it comes to build quality.
Peace be with you! Yet 'nother excellent PEV review. While I love the eScooter's engineering, I'm not diggin' its over done - "Jetsons" - Industrial Design. Thank you!

I have one, it is incredible. Very nice build quality. I also have an Apollo Phantom V2 which is also great, but the Gallop is better In just about every way and it was a lot cheaper.
@@LostinTimeYT Cool! Yeah I recently got one, it is pretty good, only bad thing is it came with a broken inner tube I had to replace but other than that, it's pretty fun!

The build quality and materials on the burn e doesn't shine like the segway. Granted, the Nami has better performance but the craftsmanship on the segway is unmatched.
39mph is way too fast for this device, especially for teenagers, which is who these are for. The stop distance is going to be pretty long at such speeds. If you stopped it too fast, your inertia would just send you forward. I'm thinking well over 50ft stopping distance.
Love your content and we could feel your passion for speed. Contact us if you would be interested in reviewing our performance e-scooter coming out in March.
I honestly don't get the point of fast scooters. If you wanna go 35MPH and pay $3k then just buy yourself an ebike or even an edirt bike. Scooters look unsafe and a little goofy.
For me it's the fun factor, 35 on an ebike would be fun. 35 on my Wolf King GT Pro I feel like I'm going 60 and might die, the sense of speed is ridiculous. And in a pinch, if I absolutely needed to get away, my scooter can go 60mph, much faster than all but some super modded Suron type electric bikes.
I grew up on dirt bikes and as an adult have owned and ridden every street bike you can think of. I ended up selling my motorcycle because I always just end up riding my scooters instead. They are an absolute blast.

Does going 10 mph in race mode burn more battery than going 10 mph in eco mode?
going the same speed will use the same amount its the acceleration that watts out more
I have the gt1 and its the acceleration that kills the battery. I would do 10mph in eco and it barely wastes battery
