The Segway GT1 is a superscooter with over 3kw of peak power output weighing in at 105 lbs. I was surprised to see the performance of the GT1 was actually stronger than what the spec sheets claims, which is extremely rare in the industry. They claim the Segway gt1 can do 0-30mph in 7.5 seconds but it was actually quicker than that for me, and the top speed was also more than 37.5 mph according to the on board speedometer. Segway gt1 range will probably be less than the listed 43.5 miles if you whip this superscooter around the way I do, but if you cruise around on eco mode you could probably get over 40 miles on a single charge.
It was on sale for 1500 it was so good to buy during that time.
It's still on sale for 1529, probs for black friday
i bought it yesterday for 1529 and i’m excited for it
None of you guys are including tax
so glad i was able to get em at best buy for 1,500 sold out now😅
@@likewater1429it’s. 1626 with tax
Btw there is regen and electronic brake on the GT1. You have to adjust it in the app. I have both on STRONG and it bring the scooter back from top speed very well and calmly so those two in junction with the hydraulic brakes you get superb braking
It's on the GT2 AS well
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Segway GT1 and providing useful information about the regen and electronic brake features. It's great to see that there are additional options to enhance the scooter's braking capabilities. As a fan of outdoor gear and power products, have you had a chance to explore the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series? It's an impressive powerhouse with a massive capacity, fast recharging, and versatile sockets. It could be a valuable addition to your outdoor adventures or for backup power at home. Happy camping!
you're making me IN NEED to buy any kind of those e-scooters, love the content and definitley keep it up!
They are so fun.
yeah unfortunate the only 25km/h max speed are allowed where i live@@jaceSHO
This is a scooter I would ACTUALLY TRUST! Love your videos always though
Great review ! Looking forward to the G2 review. I'm about to pull the trigger on that one..
It's sick. I got 1. It's a bad mutha GT2 TRANSFORMER edition
@@jaceSHO I saw the GT2 a few weeks ago at 2399.00 on segway site but failed to pull the trigger. So I'm checking price there constantly. What's the Megatron SE version got going on ?
@@LemonySnicket-EUC Nothin really different than the standard with a couple of exceptions, ya get the limited edition Plaque ( mine is 715 of 1500 run ) also comes with some sweet sounds in a bluetooth speaker which actually functions as a music player and has a mode where it makes different Transformer sound effects that match along while you drive the scooter like with the acceleration makes revving sounds and a few other cool ones. Haven't really played with the sounds too much.
Congrats bro for this monster! Thx from UAE.
Looking forward to the GT2 review
"Acoustic Bicycle"... I like that...
I have one. And i love it! Upgraded from a G30 big difference
Segway coming for the industry’s throat with this product at this price point. Was in the market for an Apollo Pro or Nami Burn-E, but this may be the best bang for your buck!
I got the GT2 TRANSFORMER Edition. I freakin love the hell out of it
amazing review dude
I'm the same height and have the same shoe size as yours. When you stepped on it it looked to me like the handlebars were low. High how are they from the deck to the handlebars anways? What's the highest handlebar height scooter you've ridden? Thanks and enjoyed your review of the scooter.
I get 41 miles an hr out of mine! I am just 145 lbs so I am pretty light. It’s a pretty nice scooter. People stop me all the time and compliment the scooter. Not going to lie I hate the way it looks. It’s really steady and feels safe which is why I am keeping it.
Fyi people: currently on sale for 1499$
This is beautifully designed but having just bought one some info:
Its much bigger than you think,
It's really heavy,
Its not portable at all if you've steps this is a struggle to lift.
Its a top scooter but id nearly class it as an electronic moped its that big.
But it handles exceptionally
Is a beautiful ride,
Powerful
And stunning
Just some things to consider.
I weighed up this the zu10 or the maxfind g5 pro the gt1 is twice the price but twice the scooter
How much range do you get? I think that's what's stopping me from ordering.
@mylifepoetic it's fairly close to advertised,
I've even got quite a few miles with a 2nd person on It with me on eco. And eco is still 31mph
The moter defo didn't like the extra weight though but even with two on it hills no prob
Hey I see u we’re in marina del Rey. Took my daughter there in July and we rode e scooters from. Marina Del Rey to Santa Monica pier and back. Great ride. She was tired after when we were done. I have modded g30 and she has stock g30lp.
this is literally my dream scooter i cant wait to own one, one day
You should review the Apollo Pro
The apollo pro isn't even close in quality. You can see it without even riding it. 😅
I was going to get the Apollo pro. Just didn’t want to spend 4k on a scooter. Man that shit looks dope!
Koji je bolji gt1 ili max fun gt pro posto si testirao oba
Seems very Segwayish, which for a scooter might be a good thing. Great review again Matt. Thanks!
What you don't hear is the average speed in a week is between 15-20mph on the city
do you advice buy the scooter
Wat about 4 wheeled scooters like the Mia 4 and alike
Would a driving license be needed for this?
Hey, would love to see a review about this scooter im thinking about getting, I heard it's pretty new, and wouldn't be surprised if you are already making a video on it. It is call the Ausom Gallop E-Scooter.
I have one, it is incredible. Very nice build quality. I also have an Apollo Phantom V2 which is also great, but the Gallop is better In just about every way and it was a lot cheaper.
@@LostinTimeYT Cool! Yeah I recently got one, it is pretty good, only bad thing is it came with a broken inner tube I had to replace but other than that, it's pretty fun!
Does going 10 mph in race mode burn more battery than going 10 mph in eco mode?
going the same speed will use the same amount its the acceleration that watts out more
I have the gt1 and its the acceleration that kills the battery. I would do 10mph in eco and it barely wastes battery
Yuup
@@theubersergeyeah pretty much. I get around 40 miles range in ego. In race/sport mode.. man I get like 18 miles it’s ridiculous.
@@theuberserge what range can you get going that slow?
38 on an electric scooter feels fast. I have a Wolf King GT Pro which can go 60mph. I rarely go over 30. Scooters are lots of fun, and even tho I don’t go near top speed. I set the torque high and top speed lower so I zoom up to 30-35 in like 3 seconds and stay around that speed.
The acceleration of a scooter like the GT1 feels awesome.
can we get a top 5 for 2023?
User's comment: "This video is awesome! I've been considering getting a portable power station for my outdoor adventures. The Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series looks amazing! It has a massive capacity and fast recharging. Definitely going to check it out!"Reply: "I'm glad you enjoyed the video! The Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series is indeed a great choice for outdoor enthusiasts like us. The massive capacity and fast recharging make it incredibly convenient for extended trips. I highly recommend checking it out for your outdoor adventures. Happy camping!"
Yes, it must be amazing since Segway is backing it and they know how to get good reviews: ruclips.net/video/-mjk4QUkwSU/видео.html
more 72v surron vids plz!
let me get this right you stand on this board with wheels and a stem that comes up with a handlebar with two brakes and you go 30 mph and you lose your balance or something happens so you are like dead right
Peace be with you! Yet 'nother excellent PEV review. While I love the eScooter's engineering, I'm not diggin' its over done - "Jetsons" - Industrial Design. Thank you!
Showed a rubber tires and connector to inflate tires!?🤔
INSANE
You should try the Nami Burn-E Max you will not regret it bro!
The build quality and materials on the burn e doesn't shine like the segway. Granted, the Nami has better performance but the craftsmanship on the segway is unmatched.
Burns are fast but the quality of ride is better in Segway
My 1994 Honda civic has double wishbone suspension
I have a dream to buy such degrees, but unfortunately I didn't have their money 😢
Fun ride but if you fall off at top speed you won't be riding home right away
hey juiced joyrides i am wondering if i can have one of your e scooters for my cousins birthday?
Not gonna happen
Love your content and we could feel your passion for speed. Contact us if you would be interested in reviewing our performance e-scooter coming out in March.
WE OUTSIDE!!
Wow i love it
can you explain why all the scooters are faster and have greater torch than most E bikes...peace out
The wheels are smaller so faster accelaration, bikes weigh more so you need a bigger motor for the same speeds and better brakes etc.
anyone has this gt1 for a while?
I have a nami klima
Blud is living in gta v
"The Truth" 😬 Thanks GOD!
Acoustic bicycle. Hmmm
I'm in Bulgaria, had to bye Segway GT1e .. huge mistake 😭 so much money for max speed 25km/h! no way for more :(
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Since when did GTA5 have Segway scooters?
Gives me a good feeling. For once Segway is doing things right.
If this is such a great scooter, why are the reviews on their own site so bad?
It seems like there are several customers that cant get service.
It looks like an awesome product but if i cant get service, then no way not at any price.
RTFM first
He is riding at gta v Spots at the beach. Bring my scooter back
speed limit is not the same, oversees, km/h
Oh ! He'll no it cost more than 3 used cars that will last more then 3 batteries.
Not impressed with that battery life. I've seen other videos of non-electric Razor kick scooters covering more miles.
TEVERUN FIGHTER SUPREME
lol 14:51
Hewwo
It has a very noisy front suspension
11.25.23
Best bang for your buck is the obarter d5 and x5. The x5 peaks at over 5800 watts and has 13s and tops out at 50mph.
Must be outta my mind cause I go 62 lmao
Change yur app to read MPH not KMH
39mph is way too fast for this device, especially for teenagers, which is who these are for. The stop distance is going to be pretty long at such speeds. If you stopped it too fast, your inertia would just send you forward. I'm thinking well over 50ft stopping distance.
That's not a scooter, that's a motor cycle.
2a charging is ridiculous for a scooter like this
It prolongs the battery life.. and you can buy 2
1st
No you weren’t?
*4th
Rob Schneider's son?
there is a similarity aint there
Dude, that was my first thought too!!!
I honestly don't get the point of fast scooters. If you wanna go 35MPH and pay $3k then just buy yourself an ebike or even an edirt bike. Scooters look unsafe and a little goofy.
lol it’s cause you haven’t tried it.
For me it's the fun factor, 35 on an ebike would be fun. 35 on my Wolf King GT Pro I feel like I'm going 60 and might die, the sense of speed is ridiculous. And in a pinch, if I absolutely needed to get away, my scooter can go 60mph, much faster than all but some super modded Suron type electric bikes.
Until you ride one you'll never get it. I'd rather scoot than bike and it's more fun
@@Bigheadedwonrun from the cops, avoid tickets 😊 in reality I don't think they care about E scooters unless they're bored
I grew up on dirt bikes and as an adult have owned and ridden every street bike you can think of. I ended up selling my motorcycle because I always just end up riding my scooters instead. They are an absolute blast.
gift me one bro❤ please
Main problem with e scooters is no matter how good the scooter might be anyone riding one looks like a very uncool can't afford real transport jobless geek
