Water based is what we use, but it should work for solvent too

How long do your pumps last because of the frequent maintenance?

I typically get 10 jobs out of the pump before I start losing count lol. But that’s based on the exact video.
      Pumps are $60 shipped

@@properexteriorI actually just bought this pump when I was making my own sealer bucket lid and I’m having some issues with it not wanting to prime correctly. I know with some soft wash pumps there’s an Allen key slot where you can adjust the pressure but this one only has a screw. Does that screw at the head of the up pump adjust the pressure? I didn’t want to mess with it and break anything. Also what blue hose is that?

@@RevitalizedExteriorServices so under that screw is the pressure switch screw. Thats just to hold the cover on.
Also air compressor 1/4” hose. Cheap easy to replace and has crimped ends.
As far as priming goes make sure the arrows pointing in the right direction. It should prime instantly

@@properexteriorwhat exactly do you mean by crimped ends?? I’m not too mechanical savvy. I tried looking it up and got varying results. (Since I have left the original comment in pretty sure I figured it out I think it was a matter of wrong size tip and maybe some lackluster thread taping job…. What tip are you rocking? I’m using the chapin brass spray tip from my chapin xtreme 3.5gal industrial sprayer if you’ve ever messed with those works pretty good) Where from do you get that hose? I thought it looks good because it’s doesn’t look heavy and stiff looks very lightweight and malleable. Thank you, though I love the vids very informational and professional.
