- Today we are sealing pavers for a referral customer. I arrived bright and early to clean the pavers, and while they were drying up I took advantage of going to clean a pool deck and pool cage in nearby Valrico FL. I then returned to sand a seal the pavers with a water based sealer and gave the customer a show! The pavers looked amazing and full of color which earned me another 5 star review!

Great channel!! You know anything or way to clean brick stairs. Stains come from years or rain hitting painted surface and make paint stains run on brick. Thanks
Thanks. If its algae and year of dirt then chlorine will clean it. If its yellowish stains I would try some rust remover on it. Nonetheless I would try the chlorine first.
Killer job Cliff!! What tips are you using for your bucket sprayer? I'm making one for SH as I don't have a softwash system yet and need something portable like that.
That's for sealer so it's just 1 fan spray tip. 6510 nozzle

Hey brother very good video again. Love your work. I’m in Polk County and just starting was hoping you would give me some advice. Have 2 paver jobs next week. 1 is a paver and pool cage cleaning and the other is a Pool cage clean with paver sealing. What percent sh do you recommend for the pool cages? What sealer and sand are you using? Thank you for any help you can offer. Keep killing out there. Hope to be on your level one day.
Hey my dude. For pool cages type a 1-2% is perfect for those. For sand I personally like silica sand (they had FSS company near you in lakeland) or you can get multi purpose sand from Lowe's (,it's a little powdery though) for sealer I like using deco products silicast especially as a beginner because it's already formulated to spray.

Deco still in the lineup. Especially when I'm doing under 1k sq ft of pavers. That way I can just pour and spray.

Thanks. I normally go with deco products sillicast or shineacast. Lately I've experimented with ureseal h20 which is also great. So those 2 are my favorite.

Great job 👍🏻Cliff I saw in the video you used the softwash bucket lid sprayer. The sealer that you used do flush it out with water and the pump will be fine? 😊
I use LAs totally awesome to fully flush it once I'm done spraying. I lock the handle and let it recycle flush into the bucket for a good 10 mins as I'm wrapping up

I always got to you cliff for the much needed industry advise. When cleaning pool cages or decks next to a salt water pool is that an issue at all with the SH raining down?
I've cleaned a cage of salt water water pools a couple times and a downstream mix did not hurt it. The small amount that gets in there will not change thousands of gallons of salt water.
Ultimately only other option is if you're gonna go buy a pool cover for every salt water pool shape lol.

Soft washing brother. They're outdoor lights. I would never spray them with pressure

What sealer did you use that only required one coat?
Did 2 coats. I always do 2 coats
Hey how is it possible to power wash the cage, power wash sand and seal the pool deck and not contaminate the pool water?
Because sodium hypochlorite is chlorine. You can't contaminate the pool with thousands of gallons of chlorinated water. Unless you're dumping an insane amount of dirt in the pool.
Great content as usual! What kind of sand are you using that allows you to seal that soon? Is it polymeric sand? I notice that you dont activate it with water, you just seal it- thats what makes me ask. Thanks in advance for your input
Thanks a lot. I use silica sand. In Florida polymeric sand isnt needed as much unless youre sealing pavers that are super loose. The hardener in the sealer locks the sand in place. Unlike polymeric where water locks it in.
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash so how does silica sand thats been sealed hold up after a year or so? In my area (Maryland / Delaware) soil is sandy and bases can be loose so just trying to see if this will be a viable option for my area- love that you can seal it immediately- silica sand cheaper than poly? @reflectionsexteriorservice3195 I've seen it held up good after a year from my customers that I service. It is cheaper than poly sand for sure. Idk if your climate works as well with it up there.
What’s the price on the deck and pool Lana I recently did one and was curious? Or how you price it?
I dont put my prices on RUclips too many complainers. But I price them by size. Small medium and large. This one is a medium size
Awesome show and tell my brother,is it necessary or recommended to use SH on the screen surrounding the pool area...how was that process from start to finish?
I've done that 100s of times. Check out my pool cage pool deck playlist. Yes sh is necessary to clean the algae and it's the most cost effective for us in the industry. Home owners usually go for the big box store solutions like Zep, spray and forget, and 30sec cleaner which doesn't work as good.

I thought Karen and her dog were going to bypass the tape and walk across that was nerve racking. They passed the test though.
The home owner knew she walks her dog there lol he was the one that advised her go halt and asked me to put stakes up by the sidewalks

I'm in tampa. I probably go up to an hr away. But for commercial work I travel further
