- WELCOME BACK FAM!
Thank you for watching this video. I have put in a lot of time to make this one. This is for you! Learn to clean brick paver, re sand brick pavers & SEAL brick pavers.
Much love yall!
Would love to see a listing of all the equipment and product you are using for the jobs. I'm a newbie
Bravo 👏 a lot of people get into this industry thinking it’s easy peezy but don’t realize any wrong mistake can cost you your whole profit of the job.
You do a great job, you actually make wet sanding look worth it, I’m still stuck on dry sanding lol
Great video man
Great video Rusty I just start watching your videos, a short while ago but they are all great. I am new to pressure washing and I am biding on my first paver job tomorrow little uneased about it but going through with it if I am the winning bidder. thanks again for all your support.
Great explanation and demonstration of service preformed. I'm having my pavers serviced this week and have a much better idea of what to expect from the job. Thanks and keep sharing your knowledge. It's the gift we are all blessed with if we use it.
Awesome !! Thank you very much! I sure will 👍
thank you, very important info. You are a GREAT man and do it right
One thing to mention is that before applying the sealer, the area has to be completely dry. Otherwise the sealer will have a glazy white look when dry
Great explanation of the process. Thank you so much
Thank you for the content you share with us ! It's going to be so helpfull for my futur seal job
Absolutely! Thank you for watching.
Bro you are solid! Thanks for the help. Always been interested in the paver seal game🚀
Absolutely bro 👊🏻 appreciate that!
You're quite the perfectionist.
I'll be doing a much simpler job on my 6-month old paverscape - pressure wash, dry sand, 1-step seal.
I try my best for my clients 🙏.
Cool! Good luck
Amazing bro 💪🏼
Great job on the video, would love to hear about that sealer setup, hose, wand, pump, etc…. So much better than pump sprayer
Love the bucket setup you have. Would like to know how you set that up. Good video keep it up.
Great video. I'm trying hard to get my company going. You do great
Thank you man!! Good luck 👊
Rusty, Great job and very knowledgeable, thanks for sharing, if you don’t mind, how much you recharge for that job ?
Great video great process what do you charge for something like this?
What type of Sand are you Using to do the Wet Sanding?
How do you find it? Is it better than Dry Sanding?
Use wand and black tip. Works every better, more control and you use less water too
Very good videos bro
Very appreciated 👊🏻
Can any sand be used for wet sanding or is that a special sand?
What's the chemical treatment you use to clean ?
What shine did you on this natural or gloss
Dose ths seal coat soak in no water pressure on ceal
What gun and pants you working with? Gun for post treatment
Hello Mr. Rusty. this was a good explanation and demonstration, but for one thing is I did not understood about the mix!! how did you mix the Chemical?? (2 to 1) with what?? is it one gallon of chemical? to the product??? or how?? could you be able to explained to me please, thank you so much! sincerely the dummy person.
Nice
Rusty, excellent video, thanks! One question, it didn't look like you were protecting the pool cage from the sealer, is that correct? Do you let sealer get all over the frame or do you do something to protect it? Many thanks
So before I use to just spray with out protecting them but now I guard them with a shield like I would a wall.
Good pro video, though an everyday homeowner is not going to purchase a surface cleaner like what you are using. Furthermore, many rental places aren't going to carry a piece of specialized equipment such as this. That said, what could a non contractor use on a small job to get an acceptable result? I guess a deck brush and...what chemical??
How does this look after a year or two?
In Az they brush the sand on the pavers to get it filled and wet after not wash
I think you’re talking about polymeric sand.
great information i do have a question how many do you usually do per day and have a great day may the lord continue to bless you and your business!
Just depends on the size of the job. The most we ever do in one day with one truck is 2.
Thank you brother God Bless!
Hey Rusty,
Where can I get the sand from. I live in west Palm Beach?
Great job !
SEK-Surebond Paver Joint San
It blows me away when I see all these videos of people spraying sealer without masking off sliding door windows and stucco walls.
Just use a guard and spray with water if you did any over spray 🤯
One thing I would add to what you said about customer expectations, is that it’s very important to do a thorough walk around of whatever job you are doing, pressure washing, paver sealing, etc. Take notes/pictures of any thing you see already damaged that you are about to be cleaning/sealing and do a walk around with the customer about everything you found. If the customer isn’t available or doesn’t have time to do that before you start then you also have the pictures with time stamps as proof. Always cover your ass.
Excellent advise !
Nicely done. I have my pavers cleaned annually after the rainy in FL. How often should I have them sealed with URE? Thank you.
You can expect to re-seal every 2-3 years.
@@GuardianPressureWashing Thank you. I've since sold and relocated to a much more tolerable climate, at least for me. Best wishes!.
How do you clean you buckets and sprayer thoroughly after each sealing job to not have residue left in them?
A thinner of some sort. Lacquer or paint thinner
excellent video, can you please tell me which product you recommend Thanks so much
Me too please
Looks like you didn’t backfill anything? Was it not shown or do you not roll? I thought rolling was a must! I’d love to hear your thoughts….. great job pal
I don’t ever back roll. Have zero issues. On stones / travertine I will back brush puddles but with ICT Ure Seal I don’t think back rolling is necessary. Just my opinion. Thank you !
What city are you in??
What motor you using for your surface cleaner?
Honda iGX800 w/ 10gpm General Pump
What size whisper wash are you using here?
24” ground force
What's the tool called to block the walls from over spray?
Spray guard
Hi, where do you buy the URE H2O? I can't find it online
I used to get it locally so I wouldn’t know. If you call the number on the website they will find the closest supplier to you.
@@rusty.nesvig Alright, thanks for the reply
Where did you get that sprayer?
I built it! Check out my page there is a full video on how to make your own 👊🏼
What chemical mask you are using if you don't mind me asking? thank you
Any 3M mask will do. These are the filters / cartridges you want though.

And this is my favorite mask.
amzn.to/41uZbSG
It’s a water based product applied with a low pressure sprayer.
How much?
I have a quick question for you, Rusty. Can clean, sand and seal in one day?
Yes you can. Clean & sand , go get lunch and let things dry up, then go seal. As far as sand goes you can travel to PSL to get it but I’d call trident and find your closest distributor. I’m sure it’s sold local to you.
@@rusty.nesvig got it. So the sand you buy is also from trident?
I heard some guys say you can’t do everything in one day. I understand if it rains that’s inevitable you can’t seal that day, but if you start early enough you should have time to do it in one day. How much Sq footage does one bucket cover? Is it 1,000 sq ft ?
How are you applying Sh and what %
Plz let us know which wand and gun you are using to seal

@@rusty.nesvig also rusty with tip do I stay with a 65/10
Hello why wet sanding and not dry sanding like most landscapers do?
Gets the sand more compact in between the joints as well as putting it at the correct height. I don’t think either way is wrong. Just another technique that’s much more effective and efficient in my eyes.
@@rusty.nesvig is the sand used for wet sanding different then dry sanding? Because I have a landscaping company in Québec and ive never heard of companies doing wet sanding. The dry sanding has water applied at the end to harden the sand. So im wondering which sand you are using?
how much did you charge for this?
I don’t remember the number honestly.
You don't treat for efflo or degreasing? Not normally, ever, or just for this gig? Good content bud...pw industry is super saturated, pavings is well on its way now too lol
Typically not. I’ve treated a hand full of jobs that at had visible efflo but I don’t do it for every job. This job had calcium/ limestone on certain areas but I’m upfront with the customer and tell them I cannot take care of it. Thank you. Yes you are absolutely correct.
It's called shelling!
Is that product available nation wide
Yes I believe so. They’ll ship it to you if there is no distributors near you.
@@rusty.nesvig Thank you for your content!!! Would you say you get $2 a foot??
@@rusty.nesvig I was on their website they should include a supplier locator
1 to 2 is not 50/50? And did I miss what the "chemical" product was?
1 to 1 is 50, 1 to 2 is 33%:66%
I just like the fact you have a baitcaster sitting in ur truck lol.
Gotta be ready 😂
Polymeric sand is easier and better
