I was having a day of attacks on attacks. Feeling horrible about no wanting to leave my room and I’m a single parent. I wrote serving family on RUclips search bar and you popped up. 3/4 scriptures you stated I was reading today. God used you 3 years ago to give a word that still stands true right now. Thank you my sister in Christ for being about your fathers business. God bless you and your family!

I (20 years) am not a mom or a wife but your videos help me a lot. I am still living with my parents and I try to serve them as well as I can. I use your advice to serve my mom and dad but God is also preparing me for when I do have a family. I really appreciate the wisdom that you share!

My children lovingly say "Mommy, stop being a Martha. Jesus wants you to rest like Mary!" They care more about what I do WITH them than what I do FOR them just like with Jesus. So many strive with works. And Yes, as things need to get done, it has to be with The Spirit's power. Christ wants a relationship where we desire His presence more than performance. 💙

❤️ thanks for speaking truth and encouragement many days I find myself frustrated with doing the same things over and over day after day or even hr after hr as I'm picking up one mess my 7yr and 21 mth old are making another and then my hubby comes home doesn't acknowledge or appreciate anything I've done nor does he help . Well to b honest it not the help part that bothers me it that unappreciateiin making jokes that I do nothing I don't have a real job that hurt . I ve know since I was a young girl that I all I wanted to do was stay home take care for house and b wife and momma but I am
Human and sinful those negative thoughts and behaviors are there at times so thanks for the reminder to choose joy in what we do and that r children and husband are our ministry . Many blessing for u and ur family ☺️❤️

Robin Baxter I have people often asking me if I'm going to go back to work now that my son is 2. When I tell them I work for my family into the Lord I always get a snarky look and laugh and they say "no like a real job". I stopped getting angry though because I know how much work I do. My husband knows because if I dont do my cleaning the house is all but destroyed lol do something different each day. Clean a different room, make decorations, bake a pie, play with the children, smile and laugh at the mess of toys because those beautiful babies are a blessing. I know it gets rough but try to see the beauty in it. If they pour out toys, play with the toys, the house can wait. Don't expect a perfectly clean home. Enjoy those babies, sister!! I hope this helps and God bless you, you're in my prayers!!!

Hi Alana, I came over from Sarah's channel. What a wonderful message. My children are all teenagers now. How I wish I could go back and redo so many events from your childhood. Speaking from experience, serving with joy makes a profound impact on your children and your family. TFS!!

It's interesting how taking on the chores of the home and being housekeeper/homemaker becomes a joy. I love it! I count it an honor and a blessing to be able to be the reason my family is not stressed out. I think us women need to keep in mind that our husbands need to feel appreciated as well. We have a nak for saying he doesnt see this or comment on that but how often do we tell him thank you for working and how was work AND listening to him. My husband is always happy when he walks in the door and he knows my first question is hey how was work? And I keep in mind to tell him at least once a week with a note in his lunch how much I appreciate all of his work, staying up late to earn more. Taking on extra hours so our son can have new toys :) off topic I know. I've never felt more appreciated and more successful than when I decided homemaking was my thing. I failed for a while because I have bipolar but am now medicated and stable!!! I've never felt happier to become the woman God wants me to be and to satisfy all that that entails!!

Thank you Alana! I am thankful to the Lord that you are able to put your messAges out there. It feels good to know there are other sisters in Christ out there that know what a high calling they have and embrace it. Thank you again. Will you pray for me and my husband. I will pray for you also Alana. Love you sister.

I think 🤔 this will fly when my kids are all past 5 year old. But at 1 2 and 4 and no help ever or no breaks ever. It can be tricky.

Christina Cruz it’s all a heart issue...every diaper you change, every avocado spear you wipe up, every little you body you dry you do unto the Lord and he is honored and your family reaps the benefits. It’s never to soon to do all things u to the Lord with joy and gladness

Alana L it’s not the kids. The kids are literally Angeles from the heavens. My husband always had everything in its place and organized to the tenth power before the kids. He wants everything prestigious in his house. Not one toy on the floor. The floor better be glowing. Type of guy. 3 meals a day on time every day. I do that every day. He has to have 3 side dishes. Or else I’m the worst person in the world. He will literally be upset if there is not 3 sides. The flavor better be on point too or he won’t eat it. I also have 6 dogs. 145 pounds each dog. The problem we have is I’m the only one to do it all. And I do it all with a smile and kindness in my heart. I don’t complain. I clean the dog kennel and wash dogs weekly. So I’m maxed out. Plus’s I teach the kids in between. He thinks everything I do is nothing and it’s not enough I need to do more. That’s where I get upset. Because I can’t give anything more the kids are first. And he knows it. The kids are the best thing to ever happen to me. It’s just he is becoming a neat freek. It can be overwhelming. If a cap of toothpaste is not on tube he’ll is going to freeze over. I’m doing the best I can. But I will adopt some aspects like if he asks about my day I will keep it short and light.

Thank you for this. I was struggling this morning with wanting to serve the Lord in serving my husband and children, but instead I was feeling very negative and emotional. I prayed to God to ask Him for help, and it took a few hours but the anger, fear and frustration has lifted. Praise God! And thank you for this video; it makes me feel less alone as a stay at home wife/mom.
