- The plaintiff rented an apartment to the defendant. However, the defendant said ghosts were in the apartment after she moved in. The plaintiff is suing the defendant for damages. The defendant insists she had multiple paranormal experiences in the apartment. Additionally, the defendant believes the plaintiff's negligence caused the damages, not her. She's countersuing for a rent refund and her security deposit.

I really do believe the defendant. I remember driving home from work one night and i seen a guy with no face cross the road right in front of my car. I slammed on breaks to avoid hitting him. I all of a sudden felt real cold i had goosebumps on my arms and my hairs on my neck was standing up. I backed up thinking the guy was laying in the road. He wasn't there. I pressed that gas so hard! I never been so scared in my life!

The worst paranormal activity is in the projects. I have seen it firsthand for 20 years before I got out. DVDs were thrown at me, faucets turning on, heat on my back so warm that I would knock out, shadows, door opening, whispers in my ear. Even my dog would stand up and play with the air as if something was there playing with him. This place ruined my life for many years. I could feel the demonic energy. When I left I began to finally feel at peace. This lady is the truth. It’s not easy for most ppl to just pick up and leave. This is why I’m afraid to purchase a place, you don’t actually know what you’re buying and once you purchase you are stuck. I’m good renting.
I’m so sorry you endured that. Truly sounds like a nightmare you can’t escape.
Get a home that's built from the ground up or get a brand new build.

I lived in an apartment where I saw a man walking in the hallway every day. He would Leesburg the bathroom and go to the backroom. Not the kids' room kitchen, not the dining area. I later found out an older man died in the house. He didn't hurt me nor the kids, so I left it/him alone.

It could have been something she brought with her; some people do have attachments. But I don’t think you can break your lease because your house is haunted, unless you have a very sympathetic landlord.
I’ve had a lifetime of supernatural experiences. In fact, my closest friends I call family and I have had experienced a lot . Most people don’t know how to handle it or what call it. They aren’t ‘ghosts’ and it isn’t funny. As far as calling the landlord though, I wouldn’t have. People talk about the other side, Heaven, Angels, Demons blah blah yet they laugh at potential supernatural experiences as if it is a joke.

Sometimes when you're not getting sleep and stressed you can see things. As someone who deals with imsomnia I've "seen" so many shadows zip from the corner of my eye.

I saw a shadow before I could talk, around age 3. I have been visited a couple of times since then, and my current partner had experienced one of these events as well. All I need to know is that others experience it, too. I'm at peace with it. You really don't know until you know.

The apartment downstairs of where I grew up was haunted. Every night when I laid down in bed, I would hear furniture move in the room below mine. That room belongs to the lil brother of my childhood friend. One day I asked my friend what is going on in there every night? She answered "I dont know, but my brother doesn't sleep there. He thinks its scary. He sleeps with mom"

Listen, The Sherlock Holmes hat is no joke. My family has lived in a haunted house for 40 years. My Mom, Aunt and other relatives have seen this man in a hat... and that's only the start of it. I've seen shadows, cabinets open and shut, So I do believe the defendant.

I stayed in a haunted apt for a year. The fact the complex was next to a funeral home didn't help I'm sure. I think some people can pick up on things more. But no one ever stayed in the apt next door to me for long. About 5 people moved in and out within the year I was there. I'd see them one day, then I'd see the property guys throwing trash out. I know they weren't all evictions. Most were working just like me. But yeah it's hilarious until you experience it.
