Good morning FB Family! How many times a week do you workout? We usually workout between 3-5 times a week - it really varies. We workout to feel good and live better lives, not the other way around. I've seen a few people in our new community forums (check them out @ www.fitnessblender.com/community) who have expressed disappointment at hitting "only" 4 workout days a week, as opposed to 5 or 6. There's absolutely nothing wrong with 4 workouts a week! Or even 3, if you're talking about strength training and HIIT, combined with a general lifestyle that doesn't involve lots of time sitting in front of the tv or computer screen (mixed activity like walking, swimming, stretching, hiking, snowboarding, etc, all count!). I think a lot of people are actually overtraining. It's crucial that you listen to your body and allow yourself flexibility. A rigid mindset is not helpful and there's nothing wrong with not hitting every single workout, especially if you work a job that has you on your feet all day or if you feel like your body needs less intense activity on any given day. How do you walk the line of pushing yourself and being disciplined, and respecting your body's needs? Share your experience!
If I can hit 3 or 4 workouts during a hectic or traumatic week (or even 2) I feel good about at least staying somewhat consistent. I tell myself I can do 5 or 6 next week and that my body probably benefits from some extra rest days now and then - especially since I am a server and have an active job. It's hard since there was a time when taking even one rest day would spiral me into anxiety, but I remember how trapped I felt back then and how unhealthily I viewed exercise and I try to say "eh fuck that noise."
I was working out 6 days a week but recently changed it up to 4 sometimes 5 days a week. Also if I absolutely don't feel like working out or feeling really sore I'll skip that day. This workout was tough especially those deadlifts! But felt so good afterwards ;) Thanks Fitnessblender.
ah I love the 30ish minute workout video's with warmup and cooldown incluced the most! I've been doing 3 days workout one day rest myself not focussing on the amount of workouts a week I'm doing. And if I don't feel okay I skip a day^^ I have been starting fitness blender 2 months ago again after almost a year break. I love you guys and it's so great to see the channel and community is stronger then ever.
This is the perfect workout! 30 minutes with HIIT and weights, it’s exactly what I look for. I love dead lifts. One of my main criteria when selecting a video is how long it will take, and 30-40 minutes is what works for me. Love Fitness Blender! Workout Complete!
I really appreciate your workouts! They are good at building strength and unique in what types they are. I also appreciate that yours and Kelly’s workouts are appropriate and not flaunting anything , I pray that your channel will continue blessing others and show people how to workout in a pure and wholistic way!
This is one of my favourite lower body workouts, a great blend of HIIT and strength. Most mornings I am not pumped to be jumping through a 30 minute HIIT routine and the ABAB format for this HIIT is perfect.
Just did this!!! A little tough on me cuz i had breakfast at 7:30 am (oatmeal and banana), arrived home at 2:00 pm then ate yogurt 30 minutes before the workout so yeah my glucose was struggling... now gonna have a nice healthy meal thanks guys you are my superheroes!
Kelli and Daniel, this was a great one! I enjoyed targeting lower body with the two different styles of exercise: HIIT and strength training. The 30+ minute time commitment fit my schedule today. Thank you, as always, for doing what you do!
A lower body workout exactly what I needed. I was right too I figured it would be Daniel today. I can't wait to do this workout. Thank you for all your amazing workouts!
I just want to thank you for all these great videos. I thought that I've been working out all these years, but after doing these videos, I realize that I haven't been doing so effectively!!!
I'm new to working out so I did this work out without any added weight. Its a good leg and glute workout as legs were shaking at the end even without weight. I like that I can test my skills with weight as I revisit this one in a couple of weeks. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
I appreciate it that you guys put a countdown in the video during cool down. I always listen to music when working out and usually mute the workout video. So I usually miss the part where you have to switch positions :D
I have been working out for a couple of weeks but never actually finish any of these exercises, stop mid way through. 3rd week doing these every day twice daily..finally finished this exercise the entire way. It can only get better now! Thank you for these awesome exercises!
Hi there. I 've been following you for the last couple of months. I am exercising for years and i can honestly say you have some of the best work outs i ever tried. One that knows can identify the details that make these really quality work outs. Congratulations and keep up!
I LOVE your videos and I want to thank you SO VERY MUCH. I was able to lose my baby weight a year after my first baby was born. Then I got pregnant with my second. It’s been a little over a year and I am starting again with your low impact standing workouts. I LOVE them. My girls are very attached to me so any workout I do is at night in the bedroom after they go to sleep. It can be very tricky because I try not to make any noise. But if I did it once, I can do it again. I am stiff at the moment due to little physical movement even though my body graced it. Thank you for your videos and your effort.
The workouts you guys post are so great! I love them so much! I’ve referred multiple friends to subscribe and they too do the workouts regularly! Thank you for making the workouts accessible for everyone and for making them enjoyable and fun!
I came home from work and i really could not be bothered...but i did and i am VERY GLAD i did. Just a little self talk got me thru. Loved it and love how i now feel. Thanks Daniel
Loved this! First workout after having my baby 1.5 wks ago...i did a fb workout 5 days/wk during the entire pregnancy. I can tell that due to that, getting back into shape will be much easier! :) Thank you so much for making my workouts easy to do at home with 3 toddlers! And the cooldowns are so good (I used to skip stretching due to lack of time!) Thanks again!!
I love all of the videos you publish, but if possible I would like to see more with resistance bands. I have a full set of those but just two size weights. Thanks for all the time you put into the videos.
I have been working out for probably 2 years now and i have lost 24 lbs!!! I love your guys channel and I also love PopSugar Fitness.❤️💪 I feel great! I'm only 20 years old, and will keep working out because it feels good
This is a great workout! I like that, with the HIIT, the exercises change constantly enough that you barely have time to complain at the burn before you're onto the next one. 😊 And I can do this on my cycle, yet it's still challenging. A few times during the weight section I was like, "is the 45 seconds oVER?!" Haha my glutes burned so bad. 😂Thank you! 🙏🏼
My husband and I just finished this workout, and we are drenched in sweat w/ jello legs! I’m always amazed to get this much done in thirty minutes. Thank you
I really appreciated Kelli’s before and after story because it helped me take a good look at my own journey. I use to try to get in that 5x’s a week exercise regimen but am thankful that I’ve grown from that mind set and do 2 on, 1 off, 2 on, two off and it worked out great for me. And when I can’t get a workout in, I definitely adjust my calorie intake.
talk about coincidence. I just thought of doing a lower body strength workout and this video released. Thank you Daniel and Kelli. You guys are amazing.
I've been doing your workouts for about an year and I still remember the details of each and every excersice you used to give in the beginner workout and now I did this workout and came to know that still so many details are there and that's just simply awesome. Fantastic!!!! One more thing I'd to suggest is that please don't keep a complete set of deadlifts. As, I can't do it well and can't make my neck straight. So, I'd be appreciated if you won't keep complete set of deadlifts.
excellent workout!! I am such a faithful follower and have felt the change in my body. Also, I used a stretch band for the warm up part. That helped to warm up the muscles pretty quickly.
Love the style of this video.. it's not the bored easily format, but the AB AB format somehow breaks up the workout just enough so that I'm no dreading doing another rep of a certain exercise. And I love AB AB for HIIT instead of AAAA!
I needed a bit of break from upper body workouts because they had really been grueling for me lately! So it was good to focus on my lower body. This one definitely got to me, especially those last few exercises. Rocket squats and high knees? Killer combo!!
I was just lying in bed, thinking if there was a workout video on my RUclips's feed, I was gonna workout today. And here you are! Guess the universe wants me to sweat a lot 😂 Thank you for the video and inspiration!
Before I got pregnant I worked out almost daily. Unfortunately while I was pregnant I developed a medical condition effecting my thyroid. I gained a bunch of weight and no matter how much I worked out I couldn't lose it. I'm now healed and starting my weight loss journey! I thought I'd start easy...So I did this workout with a lot of modifications lol! My legs are not thanking me...But they will be when I look the way I want to ;)
An update (just incase anyone reads this) - I can now make it through almost this entire workout doing the hard versions of the workouts. I've also lost 15lbs since starting working out. However I've gone down 2 pant sizes. HIIT workouts and strength training have become my new best friends. I'm so excited to see where I'm at soon 😆)
I love all of your workouts ! Thank you for this one, I had to push but it was worth it ! Quick question, may be a silly one. But i am trying to create a routine with HIIT 2-3x a week and "normal" workouts in between 5 days a week (so one day HIIT, one day normal, HIIT, normal.. etc.), which videos/workout do you recommend for in between days? Thank you again !
I like this one. The mix of tabata and strength is awesome for me. I wouldn't mind a 10 min ab focus on the end. I'm not very good and monitoring my muscle groups in my weekly workouts. I prefer if I am hitting most of the major muscle groups in one 30-50min session.
I’m not an avid exerciser but I know it is important. I’ve been off with colon cancer for 8 weeks. (#getitchecked #caughtitearly #pathologyclear). I need to get my endurance back up and move but it’s cold outside. Thanks for this workout. I did it without weights and made it low impact. I still got a good sweat on and feel energized.

I'm having a really hard time finding a good balance. I feel like I have to do over an hour every single day of intense exercise. PLEASE HELP!
FitnessBlender I am not sure if I have a nice day best regards John I am going

Really liked this workout, guys. Thanks for always putting them out for us.

Great workout Daniel! Thanks for all that you and Kellie do.
Thank you so much for the 30-minute workouts that include the warm-up and cooldown.
My fave so far. Good for beginners and had warmup and cool down. Adding to my daily playlist.
I recently discovered your channel. Seeing your videos in my feed is really motivating. I love your workouts. Thanks.

Amazing workout! I’ve completed a lot of FB workouts, and this just became one of my favourites. You guys rock!
Thank you for another original workout. Love the HIIT and strength combos! 🙌🏻
A lower body workout exactly what I needed. I was right too I figured it would be Daniel today. I can't wait to do this workout. Thank you for all your amazing workouts!
You know what, apart from those 10 minutes water breaks, I can easily keep up with you, Daniel.
Haha 😂
I just want to thank you for all these great videos. I thought that I've been working out all these years, but after doing these videos, I realize that I haven't been doing so effectively!!!
Thank you! Now I've got my husband doing your workouts, too! FitnessBlender is the BEST!
Genevieve Mathis same here!!
Bet you didn’t think in the first 9 hours of an upload that you would have over 24,000 views. Congratulations on your success!! I love this channel!
You are amazing, thank you for providing a great workout and at no cost. Truly wonderful!
I'm new to working out so I did this work out without any added weight. Its a good leg and glute workout as legs were shaking at the end even without weight. I like that I can test my skills with weight as I revisit this one in a couple of weeks. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
Thank you, again! My goal is to do the Fitness Blender videos 3 x's per week along with my other fitness goals. You two are great!
I appreciate it that you guys put a countdown in the video during cool down. I always listen to music when working out and usually mute the workout video. So I usually miss the part where you have to switch positions :D
I LOVE THE FEELING OF COMPLETION! Totally worth-it! Thanks Daniel :)
I've done this workout a bunch of times. Never gets old
Hello rainy Saturday!! Feeling ready now. THANKS @fitnessblender!
I have been working out for a couple of weeks but never actually finish any of these exercises, stop mid way through. 3rd week doing these every day twice daily..finally finished this exercise the entire way. It can only get better now! Thank you for these awesome exercises!
And I was actually on my way to work out. This video came out at the best moment. Thanks Daniel.
Hi there. I 've been following you for the last couple of months. I am exercising for years and i can honestly say you have some of the best work outs i ever tried. One that knows can identify the details that make these really quality work outs. Congratulations and keep up!
Easily one of my favorite work outs. Always find myself coming back to it when I want something challenging, but not too intense
This workout is phenomenal and it literally kicked my ass! Thank you for all the great work you guys do!
Did it... loved it. Challenging. Again. Loved it. Thank you

Can't wait to do this tomorrow 💪🏽
I love all of the videos you publish, but if possible I would like to see more with resistance bands. I have a full set of those but just two size weights. Thanks for all the time you put into the videos.
Just broke my finger and was looking for a relaxing workout that didn't require dumbells. This was great. Thank you, guys!
This one was awesome, thanks guys!
Every time I do this workout I feel more strength and more fatigue ....Happy to do it again and again ..

Before I got pregnant I worked out almost daily. Unfortunately while I was pregnant I developed a medical condition effecting my thyroid. Keep it up. It's a great job. Wish you a good health.
Proud of you girl!
I love all of your workouts ! Thank you for this one, I had to push but it was worth it !

just finnished doing this workout,i love it

That was great ! There is something magical on the combinatio of hiit and weights 😁
Loved this! Thank you
Wow, great 👍 and I love it when you say at the end..this workout is complete!
