To get the new skills like Heavenly Ikuyumi, you have to talk with the woman in the middle of the da'at tokoy diet building. She'll give you the essences. There are only 3 essences for that type, and they'll be given at around every 10 levels. ( 80 being the latest ) You might also have to be at a certain point in the story, but I'm not 100% sure about that
From my experience, it's also tied to quest/virtual battle progression. I had to do all the side quests and consecutive virtual battles you can unlock just before your alignment locks you into one of the routes on Vengeance.
As far as Tsukuyomi essence, here's what I got. You get the base when you get the new Nahobino form. You get median essence when you reach the temple of eternity. The last Tsukuyomi essence, Ultimus, I'm not sure when you get that.
The new skills are really over the top even when compared to the originals. It almost gives an air that the Nahobino is _not_ fucking around this time.
Especially when you use them with the _intended_ forms. The Tsukuyomi skills almost feel like the Nahobino is 110% done with everybody's nonsense. Which... I mean, _can you blame him!?_
Not just that I feel like he’s been done with everyone’s shit ever since fusing with Tsukuyomi. The most striking example to me would be SPOILERS Right before the fight with Abdiel and Dazai where in the cutscene, the protag aggressively shakes off Dazai’s hand off his shoulder and went straight for the kill. I don’t think that’s the kind of thing he would do in his Aogami form imo
@@zambiep5 We only see this level of aggressive expression from the Nahobino in base five when he uses the Arrow Rain skill or whatever it's called, the look on his face says he's ready to wipe out entire armies and that you're a fool to stand in his way, regardless of if you're an angel or a demon. If Atlus ever does add a neutral route, they should have the Nahobino straight up bitch slap both Mastema and Lilith as a means of saying "If anyone's gonna decide what the new world becomes, it's going to be _me_ ."

I think Wrath Tempest is the first attack that really let's you know that Nahobino really isn't just a demon, he's a *God.* The way the camera angle looks up at him makes you feel like the enemy in that situation. It is strong….its power is boosted when it crits + crit damage + zealot (which all physical builds are building regardless). Im assuming yall have a mixed nahobino set up instead of a dedicated build and is why your wraith tempest isnt doing damage.

I'll spoil further down Keep in mind that the MC is a unique case for nahobino as far as I can tell. So far every time one seems to be born the demon side seems to be doing the talking or at least mostly in control, as was the case with Dazai+Abdiel, Yuzuru+Koshimizu, Nuwa+Yakumo, and Sahori+Lahmu (In this fusion in the canon of creation Sahori fought back against Lahmu's influence long enough for them to be killed.) The MC is unique in the sense that as per Aogami's own choice to give him full control as to ensure they won't have conflict. I'm still working on canon of vengeance so I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but the physical appearance and ability to use the energy in a different style (more of a sycthe rather than a sword) might come from the new fusion, but the coloring of that energy may have more to do with the MC.

Magic, Agility, and a lil bit of Luck for me with Moonlight Frost and Heavenly Ikuyumi. Level 99 with 150+ magic, 115 Agility, and 100+ Luck. Strength and Endurance are both in the mid 80s.

A bit of a spoiler so I’ll put this in the read more Aogami being Susano’o actually gives a reason for why most of the Nahobino’s unique skills seem to be storm-based. Summoning lightning clouds, tornadoes, tsunamis… and then there’s Profaned Land. A skill that deals high damage by dropping a dark liquid on the enemy. This might be referencing the aftereffects of the nuclear bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. After the bombs went off, chemicals and radiation influenced nearby storm clouds, turning the rain that fell black. Anywhere the rain fell was irradiated. Tainted. Profaned. And with Susano’o being the god of storms, this black rain could possibly fall under his jurisdiction.
spoiler There's also Susano'o later identification with Gozu Tennoh which connects him with epidemics and disease, which is also the basis of Aogami/Susano'o being a descendant of the "Bull God" story made for SMT VV
It's more likely a reference to his encounter with Yamato-no-Orochi. Kushinadahime was going to be eaten by it before it's death, and she became his wife and the goddess of agriculture and rice -that's where the name Profaned Land probably comes from, with the animation/liquid being Yamato-no-Orochi's blood, which completely flooded the River Hi as he cut it to pieces. Murakumo is also named after the sword he found in Yamato's tail.
Looking at the comments there are some possibilities that seem more likely than others Those being the ones relating to Orochi. I really need to read up more on my mythology.

in terms of gameplay, limiting certain moves based on form would be a pain to deal with. there would be no reason to use any of the nahobino's unique moves because you would not be able to keep them.
Also it does make sense that Nahobino can use both their sk8lls considering Aogami was cloned from Tsukuyomi and the fact that Susano-o and Tsukuyumi are sibling gods in shinto myth
I headcanon that Nahobino just kinda learns how to do the whip/tonfa style blade when he fuses with Tsukuyomi, and when he goes back to his Susano-o form, he realizes he can still do it, and just never bothered to try anything other than the straight blade
So Heavenly Ikuyumi says scales with how many debuffs are on the enemy- Have you seen just how much of a difference it makes? It being the magic equivalent of Murakumo would be neat.
It is a multiplier of 1,5 per debuff, so for a tarunda, rakunda, sukunda or debilitate, it gives a mulitplier of 3,375. Murakumo has 275 power, 330 when crit. Heavenly Ikuyumi has 150 base power. With the debilitate multiplier, it has 506 power. This makes it stronger than Murakumo, and with an ally which has an innate skill that lets you crit, like sandalphon, Lakshmi, Lahmu, Seth, you can crit with it as well.
@@General_C I don't believe the severity matters. It just checks how many debuffs there are. If it worked the other way, then it would be the strongest skill in the game, by a large margin.

Hold on a moment: Lunation Flux specifically states that it "Doesn't consume a Press Turn Icon." Doesn't that technically mean you could put your ally away and use Lunation Flux again and again, never ending your turn until you are at full mp?
Combined with Omagatoki: Strategic (Or something like that?) which makes it so switching demons is free, you can literally just max your MP out if you’re patient enough
Is it rlly worth the patience tho? For regular battle it's easier and faster to just talk to demon you already have in your team and wait for them to heal you(happened often enough to be reliable) in boss fight, if you're gonna spend magatsushi anyway might as well just use the severe HP+mp drain one
@@danielmayonaka8818 If you're with party members it doesn't quite work, because the least icons you can use per action is half by hitting weakness/passing turn, so at some point they'd run out. But if I understand it correctly, Lunation Flux consumes absolutely ZERO icons, so if you're alone, you can just spam it to get full recovery with no turn/MP cost, and then spam your strong but expensive skills. Of course, this would still be vulnerable to turn limit gimmicks, but the fact that you can have a Yu-Gi-Oh turn is quite silly.
@@jonathangoodwin5609 Yeah, the thing is that casting it is a free action. Sure, a net recovery of 9MP is next to nothing, but when you can spam it 20 times in a row for free... Also, I theorize that every time you get a new turn it procs recovery skills, so if you carry a Regen passive you can focus the MP on attacking because by the time you're finished spamming Lunation Flux you're back to full HP.
These look super cool and all, I really love Paraselene Blur, but... MURAKUMO! HYA! *3000 DAMAGE* Also helps that Murakumo is Almighty, meaning practically nothing resists it, and it doesn't need any prior skills to trigger or boost its damage besides crit, which 90% of the time you're going for anyway
Paraselene Blur tends to be a lot more explosive than Murakumo(600 total base power vs 330 and multi hit skill scales off higher i final damage calcs and has naturally higher crit procs) sure it needs a turn to set up but the turn you took to set it up is compensated by the fact that you make the enemy lose 2 icons while taking no damage, with elusive eclipse you have a counter that has the same power as Gugnir or slighty weaker than murakumo and with intercalation you get a free icon letting you prepare the next Paraselene blur on the next turn or throw the second one in the same turn
no, those can still be given to nahobino I chose not to include them in the video since they're not *actually* exclusive to nahobino anymore ( since demi fiend can be a party member ) If you want though, I can still make a video showing off all the demi fiend skills on nahobino!
@@codysonic1 Yes. You have to defeat him first, then if you talk to him, you have the option to fight him again, invite him to join you, or leave. If you invite him to join you, he joins as a guest character. He temporarily leaves if you return to fight him again (for obvious reasons), but he will rejoin you the moment the fight is over.
interesting how the only differences (atleast from what i noticed) between the 2 is that between the 2 routes/designs the moves are the same unless they finish with that one hand sign. the OG has the right hand above and the new one has the left hand above. and i think the fingers are positioned slightly differently

I kinda wish they would've done unique animations for the skills that show the weapon based on whether you're in the initial form or the new form. It's kinda jarring seeing Nahobino struggling to adapt to the new weapon when first using the new form, then using the old weapon in all the existing skill animations.
Seens like the new form is heavily reliant on evade and counter, I hope that the agility status has been buffed in this game then, doing CoC right now with str/vit build, but once I start CoV I really want to give a shoot at a Str/Agi build because of the new form.
So is Heavenly Ikuyumi magic scaling or just purely off how many debuffs the enemy has? Looks like phys builds still get most of the cool stuff. Only other cool spell IMO is the new ice one that pierces. Also what's the purpose of the MP recovery skill? Spend 10 MP to regain 19? Is it's main purpose just to pass a turn without taking a press turn?
Yes, but the recovery is not much greater than its cost so it is relatively balanced, but it is still very strong if you need to recover some MP and don't have or don't want to consume your items
Gaea Rage and the other Demi-Fiend skills are still in the game and you get them the same way as in the original game: Defeat the Demi-Fiend. However, they're technically not exclusive to the Nahobino anymore.

My opinion on the new skills: Inflaming Divinity: Double Luster Candy at a third of the original cost being broken? Whaaaat? Nooo. Evergreen Dance: It's not amazing, but synergizes with and it's great for spamming Magatsuhi skills, so it's quite decent. Moonlight Frost: Doesn't scale with strength sadly, but it's a Severe All Pierce, so it could see some use. Lunation Flux: it doesnt consume a what now Lunar Hurricane: Looks really good, with hits scaling with AGI and power scaling with STR it could be really broken if the hit cap is high (which by the looks of it, it is). Question would be if it is affected by Omagatoki: Dance so you can ditch AGI and go full STR. Heavenly Ikuyumi: Haha Rasetsu Feast go brrrrr Luminescent Mirage & Paraselene Blur: LM is kinda expensive for one single dodge, but it's good for activating PB and wasting enemy icons. PB is White Dracostrike, but even better, so...

Heavenly Ikuyumi is from Aogamo type D located on the way to the 2nd dungeon, not from the woman in the tokyo diet building.

Have you seen just how much of a difference it makes? It being the magic equivalent of Murakumo would be neat.
It is a multiplier of 1,5 per debuff, so for a tarunda, rakunda, sukunda or debilitate, it gives a mulitplier of 3,375. Murakumo has 275 power, 330 when crit. Heavenly Ikuyumi has 150 base power. With the debilitate multiplier, it has 506 power. This makes it stronger than Murakumo, and with an ally which has an innate skill that lets you crit, like sandalphon, Lakshmi, Lahmu, Seth, you can crit with it as well.
Does it stack depending on how severe the buffs/debuffs are, or do you only need to apply everything once?
@@General_C I don't believe the severity matters. It just checks how many debuffs there are. If it worked the other way, then it would be the strongest skill in the game, by a large margin.

Is it rlly worth the patience tho? For regular battle it's easier and faster to just talk to demon you already have in your team and wait for them to heal you(happened often enough to be reliable) in boss fight, if you're gonna spend magatsushi anyway might as well just use the severe HP+mp drain one

@@danielmayonaka8818 If you're with party members it doesn't quite work, because the least icons you can use per action is half by hitting weakness/passing turn, so at some point they'd run out.
But if I understand it correctly, Lunation Flux consumes absolutely ZERO icons, so if you're alone, you can just spam it to get full recovery with no turn/MP cost, and then spam your strong but expensive skills. Of course, this would still be vulnerable to turn limit gimmicks, but the fact that you can have a Yu-Gi-Oh turn is quite silly.
Yeah, but it barely heals more MP than it costs. So it will give you maybe one more skill use, so it balances out by barely doing anything.
@@jonathangoodwin5609 Yeah, the thing is that casting it is a free action. Sure, a net recovery of 9MP is next to nothing, but when you can spam it 20 times in a row for free... Also, I theorize that every time you get a new turn it procs recovery skills, so if you carry a Regen passive you can focus the MP on attacking because by the time you're finished spamming Lunation Flux you're back to full HP.
Lunation Flux is unusable when the Nahobino is the only active party member, unfortunately.
It can only be used with two or more psrty members.

Also helps that Murakumo is Almighty, meaning practically nothing resists it, and it doesn't need any prior skills to trigger or boost its damage besides crit, which 90% of the time you're going for anyway
If only Paraselene was a piercing attack, then you could deal 1k dmg 4 times and nuke your foe every hit.
Paraselene Blur tends to be a lot more explosive than Murakumo(600 total base power vs 330 and multi hit skill scales off higher i final damage calcs and has naturally higher crit procs) sure it needs a turn to set up but the turn you took to set it up is compensated by the fact that you make the enemy lose 2 icons while taking no damage, with elusive eclipse you have a counter that has the same power as Gugnir or slighty weaker than murakumo and with intercalation you get a free icon letting you prepare the next Paraselene blur on the next turn or throw the second one in the same turn
Oh also, does this mean Demi-fiend's essence no longer gives the unique nahobino skills from the original game? Or can those go on other demons now?
no, those can still be given to nahobino
I chose not to include them in the video since they're not *actually* exclusive to nahobino anymore ( since demi fiend can be a party member )

@@codysonic1 Yes. You have to defeat him first, then if you talk to him, you have the option to fight him again, invite him to join you, or leave. If you invite him to join you, he joins as a guest character. He temporarily leaves if you return to fight him again (for obvious reasons), but he will rejoin you the moment the fight is over.

I kinda wish they would've done unique animations for the skills that show the weapon based on whether you're in the initial form or the new form. It's kinda jarring seeing Nahobino struggling to adapt to the new weapon when first using the new form, then using the old weapon in all the existing skill animations.

Seens like the new form is heavily reliant on evade and counter, I hope that the agility status has been buffed in this game then, doing CoC right now with str/vit build, but once I start CoV I really want to give a shoot at a Str/Agi build because of the new form.

Also what's the purpose of the MP recovery skill? Spend 10 MP to regain 19? Is it's main purpose just to pass a turn without taking a press turn?

You can get the cost down to 8 and the yield up to 21, but yeah it's mostly just a free pass. It can be pretty useful in the right situation.

Yes, but the recovery is not much greater than its cost so it is relatively balanced, but it is still very strong if you need to recover some MP and don't have or don't want to consume your items
Where are techniques like Gaea Earth and Freikugal. It feels like Demifiemd is destroying entire universes.
Gaea Rage and the other Demi-Fiend skills are still in the game and you get them the same way as in the original game: Defeat the Demi-Fiend. However, they're technically not exclusive to the Nahobino anymore.
I've been wondering about the two forms Kei's has so far. Can they be switch in the settings or something like that from Aogami to Tsukuyomi and vice versa?

They seem to be based on Tsukuyomi since he was the template to create Aogami aka a Proto-Fiend Susanoo. Which makes me mad that I don’t see Amaterasu anywhere. You got Izanagi’s sons but don’t include the daughter?!?! Why Atlus why?!?!?!?!?
Plot wise, she’s been slain long before the game, but yeah, I’m with you. An Amaterasu form would be interesting. I wonder what skills could be learned?
At the same time, that would be kinda awkward for our male protagonist.

My opinion on the new skills:
Inflaming Divinity: Double Luster Candy at a third of the original cost being broken? Whaaaat? Nooo.
Evergreen Dance: It's not amazing, but synergizes with and it's great for spamming Magatsuhi skills, so it's quite decent.
Moonlight Frost: Doesn't scale with strength sadly, but it's a Severe All Pierce, so it could see some use.
Lunation Flux: it doesnt consume a what now
Lunar Hurricane: Looks really good, with hits scaling with AGI and power scaling with STR it could be really broken if the hit cap is high (which by the looks of it, it is). Question would be if it is affected by Omagatoki: Dance so you can ditch AGI and go full STR.
Heavenly Ikuyumi: Haha Rasetsu Feast go brrrrr
Luminescent Mirage & Paraselene Blur: LM is kinda expensive for one single dodge, but it's good for activating PB and wasting enemy icons. PB is White Dracostrike, but even better, so...
