Hello Willie: This is your adopted Mom. I loved your latest video. How did you use the lighter to clean up the circular outside edge and NOT burn the patch or your fingers. Also, how did you go from trim mode to sequence mode in the lower right hand corner?
Hi there! Willy emailed you this response: As long as you’re using a thick stabilizer a lot of thread density and a big enough patch you should have the same outcome. you don’t wanna use any plastic or rubber materials because it could melt and/or shrink you also don’t need a lighter you can use a heat gun but I think that probably could burn so be careful. For the second question, you have to use a stitch tool on the selection box on the left of the screen. then you’ll notice the Trina will appear on the right side of the screen on the sequence area then you can then select the trims you don’t want to delete them. if you want to add a trim on all the different parts of the design you can go to the command box on the top right of the screen and select the end command as a trim.
Am new to Ricoma, my EM1010 to arrive at end of the month. So am watching as many videos as possible before machine arrives. When you did the multiple run, wouldn't it have taken less time to have machine do one color for each patch multiple times? So say the yellow color sun, have the machine stitch each sun for each patch in the run before changing to the next color?
Hi there, so a patch is a single design, and the design is digitized once. The digitized file is one sole patch, and to make multiple in one run you then duplicate the design on your hoop as many times as you want. But each design (patch) will finish itself since it is one file. So let's say you want one patch, it will embroider all the colors and then stop once the patch is done. If you want two patches, you set the machine to embroider two of the design, if you want three, you add another. The only way it would go through an do one color for all the patches first, is if you digitize a design that has multiple patches in it. However, that would mean you would never be able to embroider just one patch, you would have to embroider all the patches you created in your digitized file. I know it's a little complicated, but once you see how loading the file onto the computer works you'll understand.

I was gonna have a company online make a patch for my logo till i saw the cost of $314... then I thought i could maybe try my luck at doing it myself but it all seems to require fancy machines :/
Hi! Not necessarily, it totally depends on your business model! If you want to only make patches and start off your business, we recommend getting a starter machine.
@ricomatv I must've not explained properly I wanted 1 single patch not trying to get into the patching business, wanted a patch to put on a hat but singles cost a fortune
It's a standalone software so as long as you export your design in a format compatible with your machine Chroma can digitize your design. Our software exports designs in all the formats you'd possibly need.
Why delete the areas that didn’t come out right instead of fixing them? If you have a client logo you just cant delete parts of the logo just because its more difficult.

HI Evelyn, thanks so much for watching. We have free video tutorials here > ruclips.net/user/ChromaDigitizingSoftware. You can also sign up for free weekly Chroma trainings on your customer portal. Hope this helps!
@ricomatv I must've not explained properly I wanted 1 single patch not trying to get into the patching business, wanted a patch to put on a hat but singles cost a fortune
no puedo configurar los colores cuando hay mas de 6
Hola! Porfavor manda un correo electronico a nuestro equipo ---->service@ricoma.com
That’s not a cabin! It’s a canoe!!! 😎
hmm. you might be right!
Does this Chroma Luxe only work with Ricoma products or can it be used with other embroidery machines?
It's a standalone software so as long as you export your design in a format compatible with your machine Chroma can digitize your design. Our software exports designs in all the formats you'd possibly need.
Why delete the areas that didn’t come out right instead of fixing them? If you have a client logo you just cant delete parts of the logo just because its more difficult.
Sometimes simplifying logos is the way to go!
