I’ll have videos coming soon, I’ll go more In depth about cost, software, machines, thread and all the stuff you need to start your embroidery journey!
Nice, my question is as follows, why did you not just add the boarder with the main embroidery instead of using the water soluble then only adding the boarder ?.
This is so he doesnt have to cut around the border! If he would have done the border on the twill, he would have had to cut around the satin stitch leaving a small amount of fabric around the satin. That extra thick water soluble holds like a thin piece of fabric, but you can push the patch out of it, giving it the "marrow" edge look that patch makers use with marrow machines.
Keeping the trim count down really is important for the clean look of the backing. What a great job you do of making your backings look just as impressive as the front. It is something I really am trying my best to do. Thank you for the examples.
I own a Ricoma 1010 and am considering purchasing a new embroidery machine. However, I'm torn between sticking with Ricoma or switching to Tajima. Finding unbiased advice has been challenging, which is why I'm reaching out to you. I've been a long-time follower of your channel and have even used your list to buy hoops with free shipping. Your opinions hold great value to me, so I would greatly appreciate your guidance on this decision. Thank you in advance.
Thank you for this message! Yes, a big question, Tajima or Ricoma. Price vs Reputation. Really its a matter of opinion, but I would break it down like this; if your on a tight budget, Ricoma is good, it will get the job done, and with everything dialed in it can easily compete with the Tajima. Now, Tajima is a little more pricey, but craftsmanship and quality is out of this world. I have the one with the automatic presser foot, so it leaves 3d puff super, super clean.
Awesome video! Wish I had seen it before I just wasted a ton of material after cutting after the tack down stitch and the fabric frayed. Went to do the outline after and the fabric is frayed through the stitches. It’s a satin stitch. It’s still hooped on water soluble. Any chance you know how I can salvage this? Trim the frays while still hooped and re run the outline? 😔
Hi Romero! Your videos are awesome, I'm learning a lot from you! I'm trying to do Iron on Patches, but for some reason, the stick appear to be non definitive... I've double checked, and it is... it should work, but I'm doing something wrong... any tips on what can be that I'm doing wrong? I've put the stick with Iron for 30 seconds on patche, then I've tried to stick on my t-shirt for 30 seconds again... but for some reason, it detaches very easy few minutes later...
Love all your videos btw. My question is when I do a patch I request it to be like an appliqué so that I can trim etc. do you think having the sketch as a background is necessary I usually request not to have it? Also what twill because I got some from online and it’s flimsy.
Hey thanks for the great tutorial, u got a sub ! May I ask if this is possible with cheap embroidery machines ? Like the Poolin EOC05 ? Thank you very much ❤
Great video! I am assuming the tack down/satin stitch at the end are part of a completely seperate digitizing file right? Would be very helpful to see how that is created to ensure a perfect tack down/ satin along the edge of the patch
Definitely one of the best machine embroidery channel on RUclips, maybe even the best..... Iam really thankful for your content
Really appreciate it!!

I'm glad I found this channel. Do you have a tip on where you can buy designer logos to save time?
Great video!
What twill material do you use, and where do you get it?
Great job. Is there a way to just put the patch on whatever you want to with the machine

Cool video Romero ! which of the 4 twill on the page do you recommend ? thanks
What do you think bout using a water soluble mesh in one step?
wonderful, what machine do you use ?
Which tackle twill are you selecting exactly - without coating? I can't seem to find it on the site linked.

It is all done on the same file to match the registration. You can download the file to analyze the entire run. Thanks for the message.
I have embrilliance, do you know how I would add the placement stitch, at the end (the plastic section)?
@@NadineOrdaz-g9zthis is also a question that I have as well.
What’s the plastic for?
Great video!
I was wondering what type of lighter is that with no flame? I would love to get one. Thx!
There’s flame, but I think the shop lights were so bright you couldn’t see the flames. The lighter is from Cosco.
What design software are you using to make these great videos
Good video thanks looks good
