High resolution and high frame rate displays of the androids did the real difference.... Apple's optimization is great... But i highly adore high frame rate and high resolution displays...
The iPhone has a 2.8k display so is retina, meaning you will not notice the difference between that and the Samsung unless you use for VR or pixel-peep! Apple is bringing 120Hz in a few months but are putting in a bigger battery so that overall it will not get worse than the 9h it got here!

@@andyH_England yeah all phones are throttling though, so the iPhone has an added advantage with dimming the screen, because screens actually use a lot of power I believe.

There's absolutely no way OnePlus will replace their USP Oxygen OS with one of the worst UIs out there in the global market. In fact, it should be the other way around. Oppo should opt for oxygen OS, at least for their flagship phones.
To be honest color os is the best ui after oxygen os, while one ui isnt as smooth and miui has bugs
@@lore3334 I think that's subjective. According to me, it's Oxygen> Stock> Android one> One UI > EMUI > Color OS > MIUI.
P.S. I ranked Oxygen higher than stock android because it offers a handful of extra features plus all that optimisation which makes the phone feel exceptionally fast. However, I feel most people will prefer stock android over anything else.
@@nitindhillon just try color os it is much better than you think, it has a lot of features but not so many bugs as miui and feels way smoother than one ui
@@nitindhillon bro i think you are talking about colour os in 2015, the color os has been completely revamped and feels better than oxygen os to me, the animations are almost the same as Oxygen os, layout is the same too, but with more customisations
@@Yddp3307 Yes I used the Color OS long back that too momentarily and I am sure it has come a long way since then. In fact, now they have taken a lot of design cues from Oxygen OS but there is still a lot of bloatware. UI design is inconsistent, RAM management is still not on par with Oxygen OS. It also offers a lot of customizations tho which some people like but some absolutely hate. Then there is no comparison between patch updates, community support, etc. Oxygen OS is the reason behind oneplus's success. I believe Oppo has a great R&D and hardware. They should combine the hardware from Oppo and Oxygen OS and then we may have some great products.

the only Reason behind more battery retention in Apple's is 60 hz refresh rate and only full hd (1080p) display
It has more resolution than 1080p and is 2.8k. Yes, some apps used 120Hz but the camera should be using 1Hz if the phone can do that so will save battery. The next iPhone will have dynamic refresh with at least a 10% bigger battery so in theory if this test is done with that, the result will be the same. Of course, you ignore the fact the iPhone has a 33% less battery, that is convenient, you cannot whine about one feature and ignore another!
Lazy response and not entirely true. The optimizations between chip and OS are massive and cannot be discounted. It's also still working with a much smaller battery to prove the point even further.
With a much smaller battery. In my day to day work life I will take more time instead of 120Hz and a little less resolution than QHD (its higher than a FHD) any day. Also just to make sure I use Samsung Note 9 as my daily but I can appreciate a good device when I see one.
