      The Honor magic 6 Pro is amazing. I recently took pictures at a birthday party and every kept asking me to take pics the whole day asking where's the Honor. After seeing the pics my friends iphones and Samsungs took everyone wanted those from my Honor instead. It really is exceptional.

      @@SDav21Honestly i was in the same situation last year. I purchased Honor magic 5 pro and everyone in my relatives were having either 15pro max or s23 ultra. There were some family functions and everyone were so surprised with the pictures that they can't believe it was better than Samsung and iPhone. I m using magic 5 pro and really it is better than many other flagship.

    Hey Guys, thanks for all the support! 🙏 I hope you all enjoy the video as it took ages to put together 🔥I also wanted to quickly mention a few things:
    1. This is my first drain test in 4K, enjoy! 👏
    2. In the past, many of you have said this and that about screen resolutions and said that because one phone is pushing more pixels than another it affects the battery life. Well, I have been doing battery drain tests for years now and have noticed the difference is extremely minimal (if any at all) and depending on the phone, sometimes I've seen greater battery life from a phone running at it's native QHD resolution instead of having it dropped down to FHD res. Just some food for thought 😅
    3. All phones are sitting at 100% battery health 🙌
    4. I always keep all the brightness levels, apps and app running times EXACTLY the same so that you can compare these results to other SOT results within Battery Tests on MY channel 😃
    5. ALL phones are global variants running on GLOBAL ROM 👀

      2.) I think that's because there's a difference between pushing internal resolution and OLEDs having to light up individual pixels. Since there are more pixels to light, more battery is needed. That's what I think at least.

    HONOR MAGIC 6 Pro's battery performance is extraordinary, this battery uses the latest 2nd Generation Silicon Carbon Anode battery technology.
    - Silicon anode offers 10 times the power density of graphite, but volume increases by up to 300%
    - Honor Magic 6 Pro also uses an additional chip called Power Enhanced Chip Honor E1, a HONOR Power Management System chip that significantly improves the battery experience
    - The second generation silicon-carbon battery also offers improvements in charging. To ensure optimal performance
    - Honor says Laser Guidance Microtunneling technology makes a big difference when used on silicon-based anodes. This increases the contact area between the electrolyte and the silicon-based anode, unlocking usable capacity in the low voltage range. Additionally, it helps increase battery capacity.

      That was actually not very good, look at the mAh/min and it’s far worse than the iPhone. To only last 30 minutes longer than a 4400mAh battery, looks like Honor skimped on the chipset optimization and just threw in a larger battery.

    • @SDav21
      @SDav21 7 месяцев назад +5

      @@superiortoall22The battery isn't physically larger but because of the new battery tech it is more dense so they can fit larger mah in the same size. Apples software is so basic and simple and hasn't changes in years. Apple makes their own chip with their software so it's a given it'll be more efficient.

    • @superiortoall22
      @superiortoall22 7 месяцев назад

      @@SDav21 regardless of size or density, mah is the capacity to provide electrical flow, so no matter which way you explain, it’s still a larger capacity battery. Remember physical hardware is still easier produce than anything software. And as an engineer that works with both Android and iOS, iOS is not 1200 mAh difference simpler. It’s just poor optimization on Honors part man, no excuses.

    • @SDav21
      @SDav21 7 месяцев назад +3

      @@superiortoall22 I get that. But it's mah per minute was still very good and it lasted quite a bit longer than the S24 Ultra which would be it's main Android competitor. No Android phone is as efficient as iPhone because most Android phone makers don't make their own chips and android is universal as it needs to work on multiple devices with a staggering array of configurations all with their own layers of unique software. And actually, the Honor had the best mah per minute of all the android phones here. It isn't poor optimisation. Just different optimisation. The Honor will easily outlast any Android phone on the market. Also, if you look at the last part with the numbers, he shows how long each phone would last if it had 5600mah and the Honor is still 1st among the android phones. So it has the best Android optimisation and clearly better than what you're trying to make it out to be.

    ...i just wish they stepped up the software game a little. I miss some features i had in Samsung and updates are so slow. Still waiting for magicOS 8.
    Update: got the magicOS 8, but now battery drains noticeably faster. Wonderful 🙄😮‍💨

    50°c can burn the hands
    All of them reaching 60°c out of this World
    68°c really 😂🤣 that will burn
    Also 8 gen 4 isn't coming with efficiency cores
    So 8 gen 4 can reach 80°c now?
    Snapdragon 870 or 7+ gen 2 8+ gen 1 8 gen 2 are still the best processors who will perform the same in every Android game at highest settings
    We really doesn't need 8 gen 4 in Android phones
    But whatever

    • @TechNick
      @TechNick  7 месяцев назад +4

      Yeah I hear you, but 50 degrees is still decent under heavy load. All these high temps are when they are under serious load like I mentioned. Fun fact, the vivo is running the Dimensity 9300 and it has no efficiency cores...

    • @Smzxe
      @Smzxe 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@TechNick 8 gen 4 is going be clocked at 4 GHz we don't actually need this much power on a phone temprature based on different loads
      In daily usage they won't cross 45°c
      But they are crossing 60 in heavy loads which is not good
      But efficiency of these new chips is good
      3 year old Snapdragon 870 can also handle any game on Play Store
      It's probably more efficient than them
      We don't actually need the 8 gen 3 power

    Painful to say it as a long time Xiaomi fan myself but, the phone's best asset is the most lethal enemy of it's battery, the cameras. They drink up the battery like it's a mug of whiskey. And it's not just these phones but every Xiaomi/Redmi phone, and yes HyperOS is new but still a LOOTTTT of work has to be done before it reaches the levels of something like Honor and Samsung.
    Still, the 14 did pretty great for being one of the very few remaining small phones out there.

You can not run bench marks all the time and base the score on that, it becomes more of a stress test of the battery than anything else.
