Next try it with sim cards. It creates a major difference. This isn't the truest representation of the everyday consumer's battery life for these particular devices. Who buys a phone and doesn't use a SIM card with it? The battery life on any of these flagship phones can still be impacted by a SIM card even if it's connected to Wi-Fi.

Props to Vivo and Oneplus for stepping their battery game up this year and matching/beating the S24 Ultra. Everyone gets good battery this year! Oppo should've gone with 5400 or 5500 mah battery since it's a cameraphone but the huge modules affected the cooling obviously so battery had no more space as well it seems. But if Samsung can put an S Pen and have a 5000 mah battery I think Oppo can put in 5400 mah or larger battery, this phone deserves it!

I think the way we are recording temperature is flawed. We should see the processor temperature in the software instead of recording the outer device. A phone that is hotter is probably indicating that the phone has a great heatsink that spreads the heat away from the processor causing the exterior of the phone to be hotter. Most phones are made of glass and metal which also conducts heat as well. A comparison of phones made with leather back and plastic versus the glass back and metal frame to see if these materials trap the heat in the device
