A lot of bias in this and "in your liking" stuff here, not actual professional results. Having used 3 of these exclusively in all viewing settings, the Oneplus keeps shocking everyone at how much better the photos and videos in general are, especially at night after the last 2 updates. We are a big Samsung family and business for many years and the Oneplus 12 is still blowing us away at the abilities and the camera performance. It molly whops the iPhone 15 Pro Max as well. Comparing it to the S24U in various shots, I was surprised that it virtually destroyed the S24U in the "majority" of shots. These aren't my personal "liking" here, they are professional facts as a business that deals with photography, motion video, graphic design for more than 40 years. I would still say, take that with a grain of salt and buy whatever makes you happy in the end. All the phones are exceptional overall tbh.

Andf at the end we recieve results suggesting Vivo and Samsung being TWICE AS GOOD as Oppo, which is a bit worse than One+. What is a COMPLETE and irrational BS, as in reality Vivo and Oppo are both twice as good as Samsung, ale One+ is somewhere between Oppo and Samsung. And final note, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS in terms of mobile photography (well, photography at all) - the ability to freeze the movement. All we could see here were static shots. Now try to take a photo of moving object. A cat, a kid playing, your friend at a party or something. These are type of photos we usually take most often. One of the best reviews ever. Some of your choices boil down to personal preferences. I must say I really like the vivo shots as well. But in terms of build design, aesthetics, and overall performance, I'm going to stick with what I have. Who can guess?
Here's my take. OPPO --> VIVO --> Oneplus --> Samsung. Based on a ton of review and comparison videos I have watched, this is my opinion. No.1 reason why I would almost always choose OPPO is because of its night mode. I like their approach of preserving the look of the night, with very well controlled lighting from light sources. Quickest and spontaneous. For me thats the dealbreaker. However, in other scenarios thats not night time i would say that sometimes others may do better than OPPO, like how OPPO fails in hue and colour temp, but that can be easily resolved by editing the hues afterwards. But, if other cameraphone brands are able to replicate the same night time look from OPPO, then I would SERIOUSLY reconsider my choices. No.2, it covers the widest focal range with good consistency and quality. It may not be the BEST, but it covers a whole lot more at a consistent quality between lenses (but not between shots tho, thats one of its weakness). Between 0.6x zoom, all the way to 12x zoom, theres no digital cropping, only in-sensor zooming. Samsung on the other hand, the S24U fixed one of the major problems from its S23U, where it had a massive gap between its 3x and 10x camera and was fixed by replacing the 10MP 10x camera with a 50MP 5x camera. But even so, its focal range is still smaller than OPPO with that smaller sensor, plus with an inconsistent megapixel range. Oneplus has the same characteristic, Vivo as well. BUT result wise, i can see that OPPO sucks at utilizing this opportunity to the max, unlike Vivo with almost always better quality in all focal ranges. So Vivo did colour me impressed, but I feel like with post editing I can replicate the same image look from Vivo, but with better quality because of longer focal ranges in OPPO. 3. AI. Samsung just stepped into the AI game so no wonder the pics sucks. I hate the fact that almost all its pictures are purposefully tuned down in terms of contrast and saturation, and sometimes overexposing and oversharpening, its almost as if the AI is confused on what to do with the pictures taken. Other Chinese phones have been in the AI game for much longer, so no wonder the photo quality is consistent. Vivo doubles down on AI photo editing, which usually doesnt work that well and makes the photo look unrealistic. But i feel like Vivo's the first to actually nail the AI photography, because almost all pictures that it takes looks stunning, not realistic obviously but looks professionally edited. I would say kudos to Vivo for convenience. But Im not sure to what extent I prefer my photos to look overly edited, like how it sucks at portrait photography. It smoothes the skin way too much and makes the face look flat. AI sometimes changes the whole scenery to look something else entirely. However, i can only see this in portrait though, so an update can fix this. Oneplus, well because of reason 2 itself i have crossed it out of the list but also impressive considering its just a 3X camera. OPPO though, its like a perfect balance between AI editing and retaining the 'natural' look. Well enhanced but not exaggerating. This list is not exhaustive, I can think of more reasons why I chose OPPO still as my winner especially when we take into account global availability, pricing, battery, charging screen audio recording software support connectivity etc etc etc. And for me all of that ticks the rght boxes in OPPO, than others. Pixel im sorry, but that phone is not gonna last long with extended OS updates with that chipset. Samsung idk what you are doing but the cameras suck now in photography, plus no charger in box 😡😡. Tbh, if global availability is such an issue for me Vivo is the clear winner here, because its almost the same as OPPO except the trade off is lesser cameras (and worse OS imo). In fact, I had thought of switching to Vivo once because of how much it impressed me, and this just shows that if i cannot get my hands on OPPO, theres always Vivo and a good one at it too. Now obviously this is very limited, I havent talked about videography, extra features in a camera app, audio quality in video recording, Xiaomi, iQoo, etc. In conclusion, you can see that my perspective on what makes the best cameraphone differs from this RUclips channel. It just shows that theres too much disparity in terms of what defines a good standard of photos taken from a phone, and these comparisons are not that helpful too. The only sources that we can trust at this point is probably DXOMark, but with everyone having a different approach to a good photo, i think its best for us to keep in mind that in the end, you are your best guide. TLDR; I prefer OPPO. Samsungs always looks washed out and too high of a brightness. Oneplus is only good for what its worth. Vivo is comparable, but is limited
Oneplus?🤣🤣😂🫣🫣🫣 first vivo, next samsung, next oppo, last oneplus. Stabilization on oneplus its a one fuckin joke.🤣😂 But the best actually smartphones camera its the xiaomi 14 ultra.
@@furieux6742 yeah oneplus stabilization sucks too. But its worth price youre paying for ofc. I think video is best still on either samsung or apple. I thought I was the only one. I used to shoot with a Canon eos 500D and none of them are accurate lol. there's a lot of processing involved. the only way for us to know who is accurate and not is to compare them all against a dslr and see who has the most natural look.
Great source of (for me) irrelevant information. If you just learn a bit of photography and videography, just the basics, there are a pair of things much more important than the internal processing algorithm: - The quality of raw photo output, there are sensors that only output 10bit, and then others that output 12bit for single shot. HDR raw is another thing, some sensors output 14bit raw for HDR raw. - The quality of lens, the aperture and the size of sensor - The ISP and SOC power - The size of internal storage and the possibility to attach external storage You can shoot raw photo and then slap a Lightroom preset or make a fast batch adjustment and that's it. Fast and to your taste results. Or shoot a 10bit video and fast edit to your taste, including gyro data for stabilization Even you can endure the hassle and shoot raw DNG video and edit, but that is more for pro work I think people look for in the phone something that they have already: the possibility to make great photos

This is what a review/comparison should be! Every other youtuber/reviewer should learn from you. Thank you great work
is the vivo you are using the global version with the Funtouch OS or the Chinese with the Origin OS ?
Its crazy how vivo oppo and OnePlus are all under company.
under one company doesn't make them same, they are under one company so that they can buy hardware in bulk and save money.

Great video! Please compare the x100 pro vs the pixel 8 pro, not many have done that comparison.
Vivo wins easily
Oppo find x7 ultra gang 😜👌🔥🔥🔥

Samsung for life
> 0:44 - Vivo obviously overcontrasted and overcolored, Samsung lacking contrast. One+ and Oppo looking best. But they all got +4 points. Ridiculous.
> 0:58 - Oppo is just a bit overexposed still giving beautiful picture. And gets +1. Samsung made underexposed, ugly picture with no nice DoF , and gets +3. LOL!
> 1:38 - Oppo and Vivo best images, but Oppo gets +2 and Samsung +3. LOL.
> 2:05 - Samsung should get -2 here.
> 2:32 - Samsung totally DESTROYED photo, it is just disgusting (even though there is a pretty lady on it..), and recieved +3. Best photo made by Oppo, and got +2. Ridiculous again.
> 2:57 - Vivo should get +3 (as it is very similar to Samsung photo) - but I do not know which were the most accurate to what human eye was seeing, so I cannot decide if Vivo and Samsung were in fact better than Oppo And 1+ or just oversaturated and overcontrasted.
> 4:19 - Samsung flat, overexposed, and washed out, gets +4. Vivo the opposite. One+ yellow as hell and gets +2. Clearly best photo by Oppo and looses with Samsung. LOL.
> 6:20 - Samsung worst looking photo scored 4. While it should be max 2, and the rest 4. Yet again, most natural and best looking Oppo scored 1. WTF?
> 6:58 - again, Oppo blamed for being not oversharpened. Vivo a bit overcolored, but it looks good here. But why Samsung won over One+, which just looks better and has slightly better edge detection?
> 8:41 - Really not a single word about bokeh? Which one looking most natural (most „optical”, not digital”), which one is the most creamy, which one is distance-graded etc? And again pink tinted and overbrightened Samsung wins...
> 9:04 - Samsung wins although it is overexposed ( but I have to admit it rendered nice DoF), second place for Vivo although it has very large DoF, and One+ is ex aeqo with Oppo, although One+ is oversharpened. Well...
> 9:49 - Vivo and One+ did not perform well here. In fact they're simply bad looking. At first glance Samsung should be a winner here and Oppo should be second.
> 13:27 - Again Samsung looks oversharpened, noisy, with skin rendition looking.. dirty? And.. it wins? OMG!
> 14:49 - Clearly Oppo looking best here, but again - oversharpened and „recolored” Samsung wins...
Overally sharpness and amount of details is quite crucial and we cannot see them in this comparison. I would love to see some crops too. No need for 1:1 but maybe 2-3 x closeup?
Imho Samsung wins in terms of Video, and (what a paradox) completely looses in terms of Photography.
Then you will understand why Samsung photo sytsem is useless, and why Oppo (and Vivo just after it) rocks. Believe me, I had S23 Ultra (no major differences with S24), had Xiaomi 13 Ultra and I own Oppo now.
Can tell someone owns the oppo 😂
Veru good coment. I think a buy Oppo
@@eduardpetcu7055 Thank You. Oppo has its flaws, but I'm sure You will be satisfied. I love it . Thanks to Oppo I regret selling my DSLr a bit less ;P
@@blacsheep19;P In fact I do. And I had numerous phones before, which I was not satisfied with. With Samsung S23 Ultra lying on top of that "unsatisfactory pile". I can honestly tell You, that my best phones (in terms of photo) were: Huawei P30, Xiaomi 13 Ultra (unfortunately it did not support Band 20 which is important in my country) and now Oppo. So i have spend a lot of money to check what fits me best. My comments here are to save others from going the same long road as me. You want photosmartphone as close to DSLRs as possible? Buy Vivo X100 Pro / Xiaomi 13 Ultra / Xiaomi 14 Ultra / Oppo Find X7 Ultra.
Cheers.
@@marekdegorski5395 I think oppo and oneplus deserved better, the real rankings should be vivo, oppo, oneplus and then samsung. Samsung just uses too much processing to make the person look beautiful, but I think what matters the most, is how real and natural, and how close the picture is to what the human eye would see matters more.
Amazing Comparison 👍🏻
The beeeeeest review I have ever seen. I hope you can keep making such good comparisons with midrange phones.
what is your selfie camera setting? is that portrait or normal photo mode? any extra settings (like beautification and stuff)?
I liked ur videos before watching it 😂.
U guys are awesome 😎❤
Which device you use to record this video?
Vivo and Samsung 🎉
best way of camera comparison i have ever watched, my suggestion is please zoom all image also so that we can see more detail in picture while comparison
the oppo is being downplayed so much in this channel reviews
Great hardware with inconsistent software
That’s just it
@@wonderofu5490 the software is superb, other reviewers are commending it far superior to s24u and its not even funny.
i have been on this channel for over past 3 years and they always downplay the camera , even in this comparison i saw many instances when the galaxy just messed up the entire photo but she still gives it 4pts.
Go watch other reviews and pics on weibo and X, oppo has no competitor only the 14 ultra and it defeated it
One plus 12 slightly makes better photos in day light
❤
Overall intense camera is vivo x 100 pro
I think one plus is better
I am surprised Oppo coming in last place. My brother has it and it is a monster in camera capabilites.
Could you please let us know when you will be checking the Honor Magic 6 Pro?
Unboxed it today 😉 comparison coming VERY soon 🔥
I bought Vivo x100 pro about 2 weeks ago and wasn't upset for sure. Pretty much everything about that phone is great from design, OS and price to amazing Macro and Zoom. Stabilization is weak but I'd say it is rarely needed in real life.

Is fun touch OS is good, smooth and optimized ?
I planning to switch from one UI to fun touch. Is that ok ? Sorry for my bad English
@@jemiljmathew9090 works well for me. I've got the Chinese version so it took some time to delete some unusable stuff and download Google services but it wasn't difficult. OS is fast

Wow, great detailed comparison ! If I weren't satisfied with my Pixel8P, I would be picking up the Vivo.....do I need (2) phones ? 🙂
I’m starting to think Samsungs main sensor is outdated compared to the others. It’s noisy and doesn’t resolve well in certain conditions.
Great comparison with every angle👌👌
I think S24ultra overall king🤴
amazing. Professional work. Best review

One of the best reviews ever. Some of your choices boil down to personal preferences. I must say I really like the vivo shots as well. But in terms of build design, aesthetics, and overall performance, I'm going to stick with what I have. Who can guess?
Just found your channel love your format. Can you add nighttime photos and videos to your comparisons?
We tend to do a low light example at the end of almost every category! But we may introduce a separate “night” category soon 🌙
You are great your style to make video is something unique which i love ❤❤ next time also add 15 pro max in camera compression
Great ❤ clear comparison 🎉 dude awesome.
Always Vivo❤
Really really great comparison with the point!!!
For camera, better 12 pro plus, samsung s21 fe, samsung galaxy s22 or google pixel 7a?
Always pixel
Thanks for your analysis 20:29 I truly agree with your analysis the vivo is a beast
Vivo the ultimate camera champ 🏆🏆🏆

Fantastic comparison!
Please compare: pixel 8 Pro, vivo 100pro, Xiaomi 14 pro, honor magic 6 pro!

Nice job! I'm not surprised, vivo now is the top cameraphone, especially for his price)
Really useful review

Watching from my VivoX100pro
Oppo has the best portraits, and all reasonable people know this!
Seems vivo is the best camera of the year
Thanks for this detailed review 🙌
Here's my take.
OPPO --> VIVO --> Oneplus --> Samsung.
XIAOMI, i havent watched any reviews on that yet but i know i hated its UI and post processing on it photos, not my style. But, if the camera is significantly good then i MIGHT reconsider.
Hi friend, great video! Tell me, does the lack of band 20 affect the signal reception quality and mobile internet speed? In Europe, band 20 is everywhere. It would be great if you could make a comparison with Oppo x7 ultra (or maybe compare several phones, including for the global versions, where band 20 is available) in terms of mobile signal quality and mobile internet speed (test with one sim card)
S24 ultra will rock....
Wow amazing thanks you saya jadi tidak bingung lagi. Salam dari Indonesia 🇮🇩 sucses selalu yah😊
I love your review!!! Thanks for making me make up my mind!!!!
Oneplus 12 is balance and stable
yes
The best value & camera has to go to the Oppo.
nah oneplus for sure
Is the Vivo X100 Pro an upgrade to the Huawei P30 Pro in audio(speakers), images and videos or not? Or is the Honor Magic 6 Pro more recommended, like the Vivo X100 Pro?
A xiaomi remi 13 pro, for 220€, is an update from p30 pro... Choose whatever you like man

Oneplus 12 🎉
Did not expect such performance from Vivo, totally shocked. Good job Vivo!
Samsung galaxy s24 ultra clear winner 🏆 like magic with All ai features vivo camera Good same like last year but Samsung features phone 📱 😅😂
This is hilarious to watch as a photographer.
I thought I was the only one. I used to shoot with a Canon eos 500D and none of them are accurate lol. there's a lot of processing involved. the only way for us to know who is accurate and not is to compare them all against a dslr and see who has the most natural look.
These aren’t raws so they're not supposed to be very natural either
What makes someone a photographer?
@@imergeradeaus profession?
Witch phone do you like the most?
Thanks for this content. But I think you did not clean the Samsung camera lens. Because Samsung has the best camera. From personal experience
Great source of (for me) irrelevant information.
If you just learn a bit of photography and videography, just the basics, there are a pair of things much more important than the internal processing algorithm:
- The quality of raw photo output, there are sensors that only output 10bit, and then others that output 12bit for single shot. HDR raw is another thing, some sensors output 14bit raw for HDR raw.
- The quality of lens, the aperture and the size of sensor
- The ISP and SOC power
- The size of internal storage and the possibility to attach external storage
You can shoot raw photo and then slap a Lightroom preset or make a fast batch adjustment and that's it. Fast and to your taste results.
Or shoot a 10bit video and fast edit to your taste, including gyro data for stabilization
Even you can endure the hassle and shoot raw DNG video and edit, but that is more for pro work
I think people look for in the phone something that they have already: the possibility to make great photos
That Vivo x100 pro is such a bang for the buck with its lit quality! Ugh! I can't say more. It's killing the other flagship phone.
Vivo X100 "PRO" just killing them, can't wait for the Vivo X100 "ULTRA" came out..
zoom is naturally good in s24u , vivo zoom is artificially. Samsung take natural pics in protrait mode, vivo can not it
Thank you so much for your effort to do this video. It's very helpful. I'm considering to buy either Vivo or Samsung. I like Vivo overall feature. By the way, I'm still wonder why people don't use Vivo to shoot video in concerts. Anyone may share any ideas why people choose Samsung over Vivo to shoot the video in concerts, so I can decide correctly.
If you only focus on camera, buy vivo.
But if you want the best phone in the market, buy samsung or apple.
@@ManavWdhw Thank you for your idea :)

Great job ! Love the photos from VIVO , love the videos on SAMSUNG
Finally samsung getting the hate it deserves 😂
For me I can see that oneplus 12 is far better than all. It's not only comparison of camera, but overall performance along with excellent price.
I'm using the Vivo V29 5G alongside the iphone 15 and surprisingly, the portraits in getting from the vivo is way better than iphone. The zoom shots of the Vivo despite not having a telephoto, actually beats the iphone even in extreme zoom. If a premium midrange can confidently challenge a flagship, I wonder exactly what vivo's flagship can actually do. #vivov29 #vivox100pro #iphone15
I sold my iphone 14pro max for Vivo x100 pro. X100 pro is much better when it comes to photography. It's not even close.
