Oppo’s low-light performance is insane. Guess I won’t need to avoid dimly lit restaurants for photos anymore! Honestly, night mode makes those low-light shots look way better than expected.
Both of these phones are crazy good, but Oppo’s white balance in portraits is just perfect. Could totally up my selfie game, making those natural colors pop without looking too filtered or over-processed.

I’m impressed with the Vivo’s zoom at 15x. Could finally snap pics of the moon, or at least pretend I’m a space photographer. The detail it grabs is actually insane at that distance!
Oppo’s portrait shots are giving me the perfect mix of background blur and natural tones. Basically, an Insta pro in the making with no extra effort. Can totally see myself snapping portraits with this.

If you're looking for a phone with superior video capabilities, especially for concert recordings, Oppo is the way to go. Its camera is optimized for such scenarios, and the zoom quality is exceptional.
Now this is what we call a camera battle 🔥..a solid back and forth of the big dogs going all out. I just hope updates as they roll out will make them even better fixing the little niggles they might have and not go the opposite way of ruining the camera performance as has been the case for some brands. Now am even thirstier for the Ultras. Can't wait for them to be out to see what they will bring. But just like these Pros, nothing will hold a candle to them!

For photos it's close but I'd give a slight edge to Oppo. For night video though Vivo was much better in terms of stabilization. The find x8 pro had a lot of jitter with the lights. That's the one thing I think they need to improve
I would advise people who are interested in the vivo to wait for the next revision. I've seen horrible sun flares issue on images when taken at certain angles from the sun. Don't know how many are affected tho

Vivo highlight control was too pronounced in the previous series, seems like vivo toned down a little bit, Oppo's highlight control and night mode improved. Hasselblad's color tuning looks really pleasing on human objects.Both are masterpieces of the year.Considering Chip manufacturing cost and price of chips went up for, if both can bring a global version at not too steep price, it will be a win win situation for consumers.

It's really good to see both Vivo and Oppo gives great pictures but I think where they lag behind is some of the extra AI features that the Google or Samsung provides.. I mean to say you can't go wrong with picking either of them, although I do like the contrasty look from vivo...but the skin tones + videos from oppo have an edge ,at night highlights are somehow Better on oppo... Reflections are less on vivo thanks to zeiss lens...I don't know what to choose 😅
Just my opinion Portrait: almost similar, a draw. Comes down to personal preference. But I like the bokeh and how Oppo blur the background more than Vivo. Selfie: You can see Oppo struggling to differentiate and separate subject and background. If you look closely, you can see the line around the lady's head/face. But I like the colour rendition of Oppo. Low light and normal camera in daylight: Oppo do it better. You can see better dynamic range and how Oppo handle the blown out light with more crisp and punchy details, preserved. Vivo colour is too saturate, vibrant and contrast. But some of you might like it. Wide angle and zoom: This is where Vivo excel, though short distant zoom is better in Oppo, but the zoom function (telephoto) is make more sense when you can perform better for distant subject (think about concert, birds, moon, etc). All in all, I'm surprised that Oppo did really good job and able to compete with Vivo toe to toe. Vivo now is like a giant in mobile photography.

The aggressive sharpness adds an interesting vibe, though I wonder if it might be too much for casual shots. Still, it’s tempting for someone who loves detailed, high-contrast images.

Oppo's night video still jitters unlike vivo. But I guess it's a software issue since it's a new phone. But overall they are pretty much comparable to each other
I would say vivo has more crisp contrast and accurate colors especially in the indoors flowers scene - If Oppo find x 8 has log external + global release it will be a hit 🔥

Oppo's night video still jitters unlike vivo. But I guess it's a software issue since it's a new phone. But overall they are pretty much comparable to each other

Those oppo's cameras are insanely great 🤯
I would say vivo has more crisp contrast and accurate colors especially in the indoors flowers scene - If Oppo find x 8 has log external + global release it will be a hit 🔥
For me, vivo is better choice.
