Someone doesn’t need to be 100% sober to be doing better. Only use on the weekends? Only drink with dinner? You’re doing amazing! Cutting back/minimizing damage is the most important thing.
Yes, and it's really brave of you to tell others, get a therapist or just realise that you may have a problem. Society sadly still treats drug addicted ppl (also cigarettes and alcohol) like criminals, when what they really need is an understanding and maybe help. Y'all can do it, and stay strong!
(Also, this is my daily comment)
yeah! couldnt agree more. making any progress (big or small!) or just trying to take it one day at a time is already something deserving of a pat on the back. addiction is so so difficult to overcome, baby steps are still steps!
As someone whose mother didn't have the support she needed to survive her alcoholism, I'm so proud of everyone that's working on treating their addiction. People that talk sh*t about people suffering from addictions don't understand how difficult it is to "just stop". Be kind to yourselves, and understand recovery isn't linear and relapses happen. One day at a time, you can do this. ❤
Yeah as long as it doesn’t stay like that. It’s baby steps, it’s not just stopping period
If a cis man tells me he’s a lesbian, I’m going to suspect he’s not cis

this is the most important lesson i'm learning this year, thanks for the reminder!
Thank you, I needed that today
It's okay to have all these "negative" feelings, and important to express them, but make sure you're not hurting anyone in the process. Your feelings are valid, but you're still accountable for poor behavior.

4:01 new gender unlocked- New Brunswick.
Ahh yes, the three genders: man, woman and ✨New Brunswick✨
6:42 yes thank youuuuuu. i'm not lesbian anymore because i'm transmasc and it just doesn't feel right for me personally, but after going down the lesbian to transmasc pipeline, it makes so much sense that other people still identify as lesbians even after coming out as a trans man. they get so much hate for just trying to express their identities
Hello fellow transmasc. I very VERY rarely have attraction to men, and when I do they are feminine in at least someway. I think I could be a lesbian (but maybe bi or omni??) aro/ace person? I would like to hear about your feelings because I love learning about fellow trans people and other queer people :))
@@forthefagsandneurodivergent hi fellow transmasc!! i identified as a lesbian for over a year because i could never see myself being with a man, only ever a woman. but then, i started experimenting with gender and realized that i have attraction to way more people than just women, but it was just hard for me to realize that before because i wasn't comfortable in myself. it started to feel more and more like i was trying to fit the lesbian label than it fit me. so i, personally, outgrew the label. i identify as queer now. i still feel a connection to the lesbian community after identifying with it and making friends through it, and i love that there are other transmascs who still identify as lesbians. gender and sexuality is complex, so why should our labels have to be simple?
ahhh i typed a lot oops
@@toe.snatcher94 thank you I think this explains me pretty well too and I’m glad other people feel like this too!!
Shame the follow-up video was so rude, the comment seemed so innocently worded, like the commentor was legitimately trying to understand and they/she (IDK the video-maker's pronouns) treated like the comment was an attack on their identity. As a neurodivergent person who almost certainly would have voiced such a question, it makes me more scared to try and understand why people express their identity in seemingly conflicting ways, thus reducing my ability to understand and empathize with the wider LGBTQ+ community I am a part of.
@@andrewmathewson341 From what I understand, the comment was phrased that way to seem innocuous on purpose, but had actually been posed far more harshly several times before it was sanded down to a social nub devoid of overt malice. This happens a lot on "controversial" topics to make the person answering look more aggressive than they actually are, but because we're not in the app, we don't get that additional context of scanning the comments section - we only get the stitch and the comment onscreen.
As a fellow neurodivergent who is in the conflicting/complicated queer identity camp, I get your trepidation, but try to trust your earnestness comes across clearly, because it typically does. Someone sealioning me about my identity is going to ask 15 times and 10 of them will be vile. Someone honestly asking but using clumsy phrasing will usually just ask once (and probably fret in the same breath about being rude).
Remember that self diagnosis is valid! People often try to invalidate self dx but they overlook how much research people who self dx do. -Lea

Ahh welcome back! 🙂
Ok so I’m working on a D&D Campaign and I’m considering a few different starting events:
Some context:
There are 4 islands in the setting, along with a center island, which features one very big mountain (debating what I want to do with that or if the mountain/center island is staying at all, but it’s not important right now)
1. A Circus(?) of some sort (like a traveling circus or something similar) hosted on one of the islands. Players, for different reasons, decide to visit, but the murder of an official from the host island sparks outrage and reignites old conflicts between the islands
2. A royal wedding between two of the islands, but one of the soon to be newlyweds doesn’t look so happy with the wedding (edit: scrapping this one because idk what to do with it afterwards)
3. Players are sent on a diplomatic mission to report directly to the king of one of the islands. They just so happen to arrive at the same time a criminal is leaving (crime to be decided, but I’ll probably go w/ thievery of important items, maybe a MacGuffin or something) and just as the criminal is about to be caught, they throw some convincing blame on the players (who unfortunately, entered the castle right near where the treasury was) and are now being blamed for the theft of a very important item
Or you guys can suggest something else as the starting event :]
i really like 1 and 3, but i think i'm leaning towards 3 only because i love the trope in stories where everyone gangs up on the main characters and they have to come up with a plan to escape the law and angry mobs and stuff

Hi! Welcome back.
Question time 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
1) Who is your favorite pirate? (Preferably historical but fictional is ok too)
2) Squids or octopuses?
3) How could period products be more gender inclusive/prevent people from feeling dysphoric?
4) Have you ever broken a bone?
5) If you were a pirate, what would your flag look like?
1) dunno many, I’ve been focusing on folklore like mermaids,, fairies,, ect.
2) squid
3) i don’t fuhhckiinn know I don’t go out often
4) yes my bones r very crackable
5) lesbian.
1- I’m so sorry the only pirates I know are gay or autistic characters
2- squid
3- get rid of the super frilly stuff. I know so many cis women who hate the soft colours and weird scents.
4- nope!
5- probably something with a seagull skeleton!
1) i don't know much about pirates, so ready to hear all about cool pirates from other ppl's answers tho
2) octopuses!!
3) i suppose not calling them "feminine hygiene products" or whatever would be a nice start, also i know pink/purple aren't inherently "woman" colours but the fact every single period product is coloured that way is a little...💀 also just, using gender neutral language in descriptions and "how to use" manuals
4) nope, i've had my fair share of weird injuries but never a broken bone
5) skull on a rainbow pride flag, i'd have a crew full of gay pirates >:)
1) Anne Bonny or Mary Read
2) Octopussy
3) STOP MAKING THEM SO. DAMN. PINK.
4) I’ve fractured at least one
5) mine would be the classic skull and crossbones but instead of bones crossing it would be peepees🤭
Edit: skull and crossboners ☠️⚰️🪦

2. octopuses have always been special to me :3

A somewhat lighthearted rant adding onto the “men can’t be lesbians” debate:
Firstly, it literally does not affect you unless you are one or maybe dating one!! Someone using a label that they relate to despite your own notion of what that label should be affects approximately none of your life
Secondly, a lot of people immediately think of transmasc people using these terms-which is entirely fair, that seems to be the majority of people who would use this term (all of which for great reasons stated in the video). I as a transmasc wouldnt use the term, mostly because I’m pan lol, but I see why other transmasc would. However, my boyfriend is amab and somewhere on the nonbinary spectrum and himself, his friends, and I all affectionately refer to him as a lesbian because ✨vibes✨ (also he’s bisexual, so it’s not as if he doesn’t like women and is appropriating the term lol). I’d say he’s the most lesbian person I know tbh because all of my fem friends are bisexual or straight
Anyways I think the whole debate is silly because just let people use what they feel comfortable with? If someone relates to the experience of being a lesbian or being gay (shoutout to my gay men girlies), it’s perfectly reasonable to let them use a word that describes that. Let people have a little lesbianism as a treat :p

As a trans man, it's because those same people are usually also the people believing in the gender binary and thus there is no gender spectrum. Ok about the trans masculine lesbianism; i think that this argument, even if (though) it stands for a true statement, can fail (abd does in my experience). I am a cis masculine/androgynous lesbian woman and i find that because of that identity and because of other correlated issues, i am also impacted by the issues of trans womanhood. I have been misgendered multiple times and often feel excluded from or alienated in the social circles of girls. I am also impacted and have internalized predatory narratives, and i also fear the consequences of being out and proud. I have solidarity with trans women (and all trans people) but i am not one, and will never be, because i am AFAB.
got 5 out of 6 right for the adam sandler/lesbian one 💪💪
shout to the men who are lesbians and women who are gay men. we should kiss. please
I do not understand how a women could be a gay man and a man could be a lesbian??

Also also someone can aurizz me up (fun facts in the comments below I will be swooning)
Doctor Who first aired in 1963 right after the news revealed that JFK was assassinated. So the people of Great Britain learned the American president was dead and then this new scifi show premiers. Apparently the ratings were low (4M i believe) so the week after the pilot episode aired again before the new episode, which ended up receiving 5M views I think.
This may be a coincidence, but I think not. So when Doctor Who came back in 2005, Rose is trying to figure out who exactly the Doctor is after she has a run in with him. She finds this guy online who knows a bunch about the Doctor and she visits him in person. He has a bunch of photographs of the Doctor across time. One of which places him at the Kennedy assassination.

Out of 17 people who have played the Doctor, 10 of which have been in vampire movies. Out of the seven who haven't, I believe two were in an episode of Doctor Who with vampires.
Doctors with vampire movies: Peter Cushing, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Colin Baker, Sylvestor McCoy, Paul McGann, John Hurt, David Tennant, Matt Smith, and Peter Capaldi.
Those not in vampire movies: William Hartnell, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Christopher Eccleston, Jodie Whittaker, Jo Martin, and Ncuti Gatwa.
Ncuti Gatwa was in the Barbie movie though. And of those who haven't been in vampire movies, I believe only William Hartnell is dead. Everyone else still has the opportunity.

I’m back! How’s everyone doing today? Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve commented last!
I'm kind of okay, but I need to do my (boring) math homework. Time for music!
Also, have a nice week! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Welcome back!
i used to know a "cis man lesbian"! shes a girl now. so
It’s inevitable
People saying black women aren’t pretty are so weird to me because like. I’m autistic and aroace. I cannot differentiate between an attractive person and an ‘ugly’ person but even I know they’re prettier than like… those famous white dudes who just look like uncooked dough. I’m sorry. But black women are just very pretty, and you would have to be blind to not realise that.

I still don't understand when where or how male lesbians suddenly were valid!!!!! I completely understood genderfluid and nonbinary lesbians, etc. like nmlnm but uhm non-man loving non-man. Where does....where does a man fit into that?? It's ok to be a trans man and like women, but that means you are straight! If you disagree I believe you are very insecure about your gender identity!! And it's ok to be a trans man but still feel like you're impacted by things that impact women in society, feel close to your feminine side, and all of that, but you cannot be a lesbian!!
And I understand a lot of transmen or transmasc people did or thought of identifying as a lesbian before they came to the realization they were actually trans, and I understand that after having been part of the lesbian community you still feel like you're connected to them, but you are no longer part of that community?? It's not hard to understand you can have a deep, emotional connection to a group you aren't part of, especially when it comes to identity and how it takes so long to figure out where you may end up in different communities.
Also I feel like their response to the question of whether a cis man can be a lesbian was so rude?? Like jfc just either explain it or not nobody cares if you "don't wanna discuss dis stuff wif non-wesbians bc u guys just can't get it :((("
Like whatever at this point I don't fucking care if you're lesbian and a man like it's going to happen anyway so I don't care at this point about stopping it but like I love how these were the exact people who in the beginning of this year were preaching about how that wasn't valid.
@@sketch3799 the explanation is that all language is made up and gender isn't real, so you can use whatever labels you like and also you're free to not use any labels at all. I call it the If I Fits, I Sits principle
