@@amoxzi both, I do believe. It could have been different orchestra's but either way I know these guys have done other stuff you just got to go through their channel and find it so if you liked it you could check the channel for these guys for different stuff or you could go to the other channel or just simply look up zoo animals with orchestras or whatever and find them that way

I volunteer at a similar zoo and there is a 52 year old orangutan whom I often interact with though my relationship with her isn’t as close as it is with her keepers. She will sometimes choose to come over to the glass to look at pictures in my Baseball Hall of Fame and Hockey Hall of Fame books. I also recently bought a book on Pokemon with me and she seems to like the Pokémon as well.

This interaction between apes and music is UNIQUE. What’s so interesting about these people in formal wear? ALL ANYONE WANTS TO SEE IS ORANGUTAN RESPONSE TO MUSIC.

the first listen of a new song for me is rarely as pleasurable as the second or third exposure to the same song. And maybe the orangs are similar, so a suggestion, go back and play the same pieces, maybe they will find the delight magnified exponentially too. opera conventions suggest to me that I am not alone, why else would they begin with an overture, which is an overview of the melodies to come, a taste of what is in store as the opera proceeds. so as the opera unfolds, the audience has already had a taste of what they are hearing, and that enhances the pleasure. see how the orangs respond to something they have heard before, give them that power that humans have, the chance to hit rewind, or replay the youtube video. just a thought....

I think it be neat to perform a children’s play for them, a funny one, and see how they react. Or perform a ballet, or different ethnic dance groups, or a dance from a musical, like the Lion King or Wet Side Story. It would be interesting to see if they tried to join in - the way little kids will dance at outdoor musical events!
