    Thank you I could not sleep due to pain in shoulder and neck and after these stretches I think I can sleep tonight. I will try to do these everyday as my range of motion was so bad when I began this a.m. and now I can move my head somewhat better.

      Sleeping at night is difficult for me because of my low back pain. I like to sleep on my side and this was throwing my hips out of alignment.       Nicole Thom-Dowling I know exactly what you mean !! I've been dealing with a lot of pain in the neck and shoulder area and all though I did have a few sessions with a chiropractor and it did wonders for me I was still dealing with a lot of tension so after so many exercises and stretches I decided to give yoga a chance and found this channel to be extremely helpful as it's simple but very effective. I'd also recommend you to try their other video they did on neck and shoulder which is 20 mins long it does wonders.

      I need to praise you too. I have serious back pain for 12 years, headaches, doctors thought for a while, that I have epilepsia, because my neck can be stuck in one place for really long period of time. I've tried massages (only one woman was so great, that could handle it, now she's stucked with ptients and is too expensive for me), excercises, medicine, that made me numb, cannabis...nothing helped. It hurts mostly in atlas and axis vertebras and after this short routine I feel relief. Not like I would be "painless" again, it takes time to excercise this out. I've tried many excercises, but you explained, how to find critical spot.12 years and nobody told me this trick. Thank you very much! You have new faithful subscriber.:D I wish you only the best.:) (I would send you good vibes, but I'm not sure, if I have any :D)

    I've been struggling with neck pain for years due to a BAD pinched nerve. This is the first series of exercises I've ever completed that gave me immediate relief. It feels like a cool breeze legit on my neck muscles. Thank you, so much, you literal angel, please don't ever stop.

    Diagnosed with spinal cord disease. It causes my muscles to spasm, especially the neck and back. This video has been a lifesaver. No pain meds for me!

    Oh my goodness! That arm stretch on the side for the neck opening was THE best stretch ever! I have been in neck pain for a week, that pose and the heat it generates! This is my go to video for neck stretch FOR EVER!!!

    2020.
    Holy ! :) as she said when she had her head tilted to the right with the arm extended !
    I couldn't turn my head more than 4" to the left from center, my middle back was so tight the pain radiated to the front.
    I felt relief from a lot of the pain after doing this session, after about 24 hours the pain is gone and movement in my neck is normal. Thus saved me a trip to the osteo, and I have found a super go to excercise. This is especially helpful after and before traveling (carrying those suitcases) especially traveling around city transport on buses. Metro..

    I like your video, but, health wise, in connection with the discs in my neck, I'm unable to put my neck as far back and move as quickly in the backward direction as you do. I had to remind myself not to directly copy those specific exercises and to adapt them to ones that were doctor recommended so that I did not cause harm to those specific discs. I think the exercises are great for the average Joe with a sore neck and that they work for SOME people with severe neck pain, but it isn't for everyone. I did love the exercises that did not involve those specific exercises, though. :)

    Hello ma;am whnever i do your fav stretch that you discuss in the video with left i feel lots of tension in my arm and whenever i make my neck toward right side i feel tension in my neck too.... I also do yoga but becuase of my left arm and neck i feel that i m unable to practice tougher poses.... Plz tell me how to get rid of this problem n what excercises i should to avoid this neck and arm problem..... I

      @@DavidProrok ahh yes. I remember that feeling when I started doing hardcore yoga for neck upper back after I couldn't afford my chiropractor anymore. Now I hope to one day gain that feeling in my hips/thighs. 29 years old as of yesterday and I am no where near any sort of split 😫 i dunno how these women do it. Is it genetic or am I lacking a chromosone?

    This felt so good across my shoulder blades as well as my neck. :) I tend to get pinched nerves where my neck meets the shoulder due to a whiplash injury more than 30 years ago. These stretches really help to relax all the tension stuck there. Thank you! :-)

    Have been doing this for over a week now and it has helped an unbelievable a mount. I do a lot of sports that have taken a toll on my body and for 2 years I've had shoulder pain and neck pain. finally its starting to subdue so I can't thank you enough!

    Does anybody have an explanation or good video showing how to do the pose at 10:00? I’ve done this routine maybe 10 times and when I cross at the elbow my arms make an X... what’s the right way to do this pose when I can’t cross my arms enough to point them both straight up like that

    I’ve been trying to find an alternative to the stretch at 10:00; I can’t get my arms to cross like that. This time I just hugged my arms as far around my back as I could and then did the same cat/cow movement. Felt pretty good

      Yes! The alternative is to use a yoga strap to help keep the arms together during the stretch. Check out this video - ruclips.net/video/ppToA1N0CgE/видео.html

    I’ve done this short amazing sequence dozens of times. It’s like having candy in the morning for my neck and upper back.
    Having fibromyalgia is no fun at all on my body. This is so helpful and I just looked up your sun salutation and I’m going to doing that next!!
