If there ever was a "God Father" of DJ's..... The Grease-man is it! I have been a fan since the early 80's, listen faithfully and couldn't wait till the music was over so I could hear more of the Grease-man skits.. I guess my favorite was Sgt. Fury..... and then moved to Florida and you wouldn't believe the lame azz we have in Tampa Bay as a talk show host.., and our music format really sucks for such a nice metro area...., I say Common sense is no longer Common. The Grease-Man is the Schitt!
Awesome, we need this bold bulky man to come back to the DMV and save us, but most are not worthy of his presence! He's still posting occasionally, and still has a beautiful funny little honey and seems to be doing well in retirement. I sure would love if he would just come on the airwaves, side band or HAM, don't matter to me. Would be great but I'm sure he's enjoying his privacy and lovin' life!

Grease,,,makes me wish I was "BACK ON THE AIR". I walked away from the REVOLVING DOOR OF ROCK&ROLL RADIO in the early 80's. They started taking away all the creativity and turning it into JUST A MACHINE. He makes me wanta start STOMPIN' THE FLOORS and BEATIN' the WALLS again. THEMOJOMANdotCOM
i always used to listen to him on 92.3 in the evenings. i swore he was an elvis impersonator. today was the first time i looked him up and saw what he looks like. wow.
DC101 didnt even give him at least one year being back on here......bastards had to fire him AGAIN! i only have been listening to the grease for 5 or 6 weeks on saturday morning. im switching to the globe on saturday mornings..
Scott Shannon is funny? His morning zoo was funny. His partner at PLJ is funny. Hadnt thought Scott was funny except the time Larry King when he told a caller he choooses what records he plays based on which ones have the nicest looking labels.
Greaseman is without a doubt the best on air personality ever. Listened to him for years in DC, and Jacksonville,Fla. He was great.
