My God. 1983 was when I discovered Grease. We had just moved into a new house and I was unpacking. I thought "who is this guy?" I had a newborn baby girl and a toddler boy, so I was always up and busy at the hours Grease was on. I became a HUGE fan and wouldn't miss him. He was so damn funny and talented. I know he went through some bad things and I have no idea where he is at today but I hope he is happy and doing well. I lost my baby girl 19 years later so hearing these old bits is bittersweet. Thank you for putting this on RUclips.
Fond memories in 1984-86 of listening to Grease until DC101's signal faded away as I traveled to Philly in the mornings. Happy again as I traveled back to Baltimore and DC, his antics returned as I crossed into Maryland.
I fondly remember The Greaseman from my days at Fort Belvoir, Virginia during 1984-85. He had various bits about wanted to get together with Olympic Gold Medalist Gymnast Mary Lou Retton that were a laugh riot.
Oh I wish I could find his Hurricane Rap! 1986, Hurricane Gloria, he did a HILARIOUS rap. I had it on tape but of course it’s gone now. I talked to the Greaseman about that years ago and even he doesn’t have a copy of it any more.
@@bobmilin you are correct. That was a typo on my part. Gloria hit on the first week of school when I entered sixth grade. We were out of school for over a week!
This man used to shut down construction building houses while he was on his skit this is the greatest comedian I have ever heard I will never forget him the greatest
@@ayecreepn6126 I couldn't follow any of his stories. They were so lame, boring and long. It amazed me how others in the DMV liked this guy. To me he was just the worst and I thought DC101 was just stupid or crazy to hire him.

Man, that broke my f'ing heart reading that. I hope you're doing well
Makes me both happy and sad to hear Grease, remembering great times that will never be again.
The funniest talented DJ ever, I never laughed so hard in my life. I love the RUclips videos of him.
Brings back memories when I lived in Arlington. I listened to DC101 and the Greaseman every morning on my way to work from 1983-87.

Sure lightened my DC commute back in the day...
Every time I listen to him, I start talking like him.

If you find it, let me know. I want to know how-where to go on my smartphone.
The last time I heard the greaseman on the radio was back in the 1990s.
Ditto, I remember when he was on K-ROCK FM.
@@wylier I loved the greaseman a lot and I loved his sound affects he made with his mouth.
Listening to this during a full moon.
The crazy thing about him was trying to drive to work and laughing my ass off in the car uncontrollably at times.
