Not everything is filmed with a whole camera crew and set. with the right camera and gear you can take a long distance shot and have a mic close enough to the actor especially if you want to save money and want to get a nice organic environment and not have to pay a bunch of people, not really rocket science.
@@bes12000 Yeah, sure... It's not like Jim and the camera operator were the only ones there, even with such a scenario. Not to mention that it's a public space and you need a permit to film in a public space. Robin Williams was also known for going off script (way before Carrey), he did it a lot when he was on Mork and Mindy, and on Aladdin most of the jokes are Robins' on-the-spot improves. a well as in other movies he did.
As an actor, I just want to let everyone know that what you call "improv" or "ad lib" is rarely completely spontaneous. Since we have a script that we've been working with for days, weeks, even months, we always look for places to throw something in that we think would be either an improvement or just plain funny. Also, Jim Carrey is my cousin.
As an actor I would like to remind the other actors here that the script given to an actor before they have accepted the part bears NO resemblance to the script on set. During shooting of a movie/show, every day the writers, producers, director and actors meet to go over the script and make sure everything works. Many times the writers or producers made changes. Every day before the shoot. What's it called, I can't remember? Xtremi should know! We all sit down at the big table and go over the script for the day... you know....

@@guyverjay1289Carrey surpasses Williams though… yes, Williams is definitely amazing but he can’t do the physical things that Carrey can do
Both Carrey and Williams are treasures in film.
"One more watt and youll be a lightbulb" is one of the most clever off the cuff jokes ever
As an actor, I just want to let everyone know that what you call "improv" or "ad lib" is rarely completely spontaneous. Since we have a script that we've been working with for days, weeks, even months, we always look for places to throw something in that we think would be either an improvement or just plain funny. Also, Jim Carrey is my cousin.
...and Bob's your uncle.
Wow, great insight.
What's your imdb?
As an actor I would like to remind the other actors here that the script given to an actor before they have accepted the part bears NO resemblance to the script on set. During shooting of a movie/show, every day the writers, producers, director and actors meet to go over the script and make sure everything works. Many times the writers or producers made changes. Every day before the shoot. What's it called, I can't remember? Xtremi should know! We all sit down at the big table and go over the script for the day... you know....
Dear God I love jim. He was the perfect actor. Only he could pull these silly stunts and make it hilarious. We still love you jim. I miss his hilarious comedy. I just adore him as a person too. ❤
3:20 - the reason you've clicked.
why are you self censoring?
Probably trying to hinder the possibility of video getting flagged..or he's a donkey.b
Maybe copyright strikes? Just guessing
Because there are certain things that the Internet takes down if you don’t self censor, that’s why everyone talks in code or doesn’t talk at all online.
Probably because it would get demonetised
When the Grinch whips off the tablecloth and everything ''Accidentally'' stays perfectly still on the table at 1:44 🤣
I stopped watching when the muting started to happen
Man, it's nice to see so many comments of love for Jim. I've followed him since In Living Color.
Seems like many people don't find him funny or (extremely) talented. It completely baffles me. Maybe it's a generational thing.
Jim “the legend that nobody can follow” Carrey
This man is a classic when it comes to making you laugh. I miss him so much. There is no good movies out anymore and it’s because they blackball this man bring him back. Everybody deserves a second chance and we deserve more laughter. Bring him back for the people that’s all I have to say
The big gulps line just got even better. My favorite line of the movie and I didn’t know the dudes WERENT EVEN ACTORS
Bullshit. They had 2 b actors. The set had 2 b closed.
@0:35 Hats off to the actor in the middle? That man’s name is Mike Starr & he is legendary. Ed Wood, Goodfellas, etc.
All I can think about is him as a little kid, driving his mother absolutely nuts with his antics🤣
"accidentally succeed in physics" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
5:25 “Despite not being one of his best movies…” how dare you🤦🏻♂️Cable Guy is one of his best movies ever. A dark comedy thriller that’s both terrifying & hilarious at the same time. And serves as an intelligent commentary on how tv/media obsession can be harmful to a person’s development 🤌🏼💯 it’s a classic
found this in my feed after watching Dave Chappell's latest comedy special, I LOVED Jim Carrey growing up in the 90s and early 2000s, this compilation confirms he really is a great actor and God-given talent on camera! Can't wait to see him in Sonic movie 3! hopefully
Good, thank you for not saying that he always plays the same character… I’m sick of hearing that shit from people
2:50 Those two who refused to leave the set, so they just turned them into extras.
Carrey's best film by far is "The Majestic". It's overlooked by most people.
A funny guy in any film....Had great fun watching this...Thank you
I am slowly rewatching all his movies with my kids. It is dawning on me just how psychotic all his characters were.😂😂 Ace Ventura was certifiably insane.
The audio seems to be censored at some points (3:29 for instance). Is it just me or are others finding this?
Jim Carrey is a Master of his Art🤗 I LOVE watching his movies just to see him perform perfection🤩😍🥰❤ I love the actor but also the man He is😀 I think he's an Ascended Master.. I LOVE AND RESPECT YOU VERY MUCH MR. CARREY🤗🥰🙏🤝
Yes! Jim Carrey is the best comedian in cinema history, next to Robin Williams.
There aren’t any comedians like him anymore. The full on dedication to an over the top character. Robin Williams was another one. Man. That era has passed. ☹️
1:09 - bit of a reach about this scene being improvised/off-script when you can tell Carrey messed up and breaks character a little. More credit should go to the Director's ingenuity to keep it in, believing it emphasised how much of a heartless villain Count Olaf is as a character 😅
He made millions of people laugh and have a good time with his skits and movies. A true legend.
0:13 I understood that reference
Can you please enlighten me...cuzz i am still calculating all the pro's and con's of that combination.
@@heathb4319 it’s from Big Daddy
@@TheNaturalPatHarris ..Thank you.
And i have come to think lamb and sushi grade tuna would be awesome.
But not the crap out of the can.
@@heathb4319 Maybe you like spaghetti and meatball. You prefer that anology?

Underrated comment.
nice video thx for the daily dose of jim carrey
Why bother including scenes they you're going to censor?
Did YT censor it? Lately they've been censoring quite a bit of material. Maybe he originally included it. Also, it shows me that I need to go find the original adlib lines.
Copyrights get flagged after the video is posted it's better to edit it than delete successful video
Haha u made me so Happy Watching this lol 😂Thankyou!
5:33 😂
Does anyone else lose sound in places like at 3:25?
That's just the world catching its breath
ONE OF THE BEST BY FAR ;)
Guys, check your videos when uploading, audio is off several times !
Yeah I thought that was my speakers shutting off for a second.
it’s on purpose , had to remove audio clips due to copyright
Loved that Big Gulps bit. So random and hilarious!
I didn’t expect this video to be that entertaining because RUclips videos that list out interesting scenes or best bloopers and stuff like that usually turn out to be not that interesting after all, and something I could’ve just skipped. I’m glad I decided to click on this video. Good job. Sincerely, a fellow RUclipsr
Wow, thanks!
@@tlaughplanet Tell me, pls, who is the beautiful brunette on the screensaver for this video?
@@ORGAZMDONOR666 Courteney Cox
I truly miss Jim and his comedic movies. Now he's retired and I'm miss his brand of comedy that only he can pull off. I still love him to bits and as long as he's happy, I'm glad he's content. Jim you are a bloody legend. 😂❤
Jim Carrey is the best actor ever. Ever since Ace Ventura first came out he was then and still is my favourite actor
4:06 that was improvised? That’s amazing 😂
He is my role model for what we can do with ADHD.
That "Big gulp" scene was the best... I still use that sometimes when there is an awkward silence..... And then the "well see ya later".
there is no one like jim carrey:)
Thank God.
The big gulps killed me I had no idea this was improvised
I doubt there would be unpaid extras on a filming set. Security? 🧐 And the cable guy was absolutely amazing!!!
When filming in public… yeah
@@Jaythesparrow with jim carrey and jeff daniel? Nope.
It happens sometimes. Such as that film Midnight Cowboy where Dustin Hoffman actually stayed in character, and shouted back at an actual taxi driver that shouted for him to move away.
@@ahlijayes, believe it or not… Cable Guy wasn’t the flop that so many people say It is. Everybody loves Cable Guy… every review that I’ve read on it has been positive
@@nsasupporter7557 Man. I laughed so much all movie long and jim’s acting was amazing! That and dumb and dumber… 90’s were so good!
They go together like lamb and tuna fish? Wdym. His improv is stellar.
There were several really good improv moments in Fun With Dick and Jane -- the most notable being where he acted like different alien/robot characters with a voice making device while committing a robbery. They were so funny that they made an extra crack up and they had to include that scene in the outtakes during the credit roll.
I’m the biggest Jim Carrey fan but I did not care for Fun with Dick and Jane!
He hasn’t done a good movie in 20 years. The last actual good movie he did was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, he hasn’t done anything good since
I forgot about all that. Underappreciated movie, and hilarious outtakes.
@@zoyadulzura7490 maybe I need to watch it again, I don’t remember liking it when I first saw it. Did you like Yes Man?
@@nsasupporter7557Yes, we know you don't like anything. You have been a bummer and downer in this entire thread. You don't like Jim Carrey or you specifically like enough of his stuff that you can claim to be his biggest fan and still tell us all how much he sucked, let's see for 20 years now!!
You are mental. Please do not go anywhere near Jim Carrey. Is there a watchlist someone can get this person on?
@@nsasupporter7557 I did, a lot!
Liar liar was so epicly funny I still laugh like I have never saw it before he's a gem for this one
Is it me, or does the sound drop out several times after the 3:10 mark?
They’re muting stuff that either is considered offensive by RUclips standards or might be - in order to be able to monetize the video. It sucks but that’s RUclips. The problem is RUclips themselves. In Liar Liar Carrey says “If I were a boxer, I would bounce those things like Sugar Ray Leonard!” to the well-endowed woman. The other from Liar Liar isn’t worth explaining, but watch the bloopers it is funny.
ok that grinch one was pure professionalism lmfao
RIP Cathorina White.
This caused me to read a bit about her. Seems very suspicious and very disturbing. Their relationship had a very asymmetrical power dynamic.
Pure comedy genius. You can't teach this. You're either born wih it or you're not.
