The only time where Jim Carrey looks like the sane person in the room.
indeed
Yes nice commentary 👍🏻
LMAO!!!!!
Nice one👌🏼
Very much true
First guy sets the bar way too high for the following ones.
First one's the winner
Cuz he is the real Jim carrey
Agreed he was the best
He nailed the voice and body language. Best impersonation of Jim I've seen yet.
Agree to agree
The Riddler walking in frame was perfect comedic timing.
Who played him?
@@russe197Pete Davison I believe?
I laughed my butt off!!
I bet they all had an impression contest and the worst one got the Riddler role

Sometimes, two jerks can get along, haha.
Jims face is when Jeff showed up
No shit
Fun fact, Jim is short for James 😉
Fun fact: no fuckin shit
I CAN'T imagine how nerve-wracking it must be to do a Jim Carrey impression in FRONT of Jim Carrey
I would feel so nauseous from excitement and worrisome
@@daveboogintire352 honestly same 😭😭
I CAN'T imagine how nerve-wracking it must be to have people coming up to you constantly regurgitating something you said 30 years ago
Your pretty much exaggerating everything you do and your practically making fun of his persona in movies. It must be horrifying to try to be kind about this!
The whole skit was basically a roast on live TV mocking his whole life and career in honor of all of his achievements.
This would be so weird to watch if you have never seen a Jim Carrey movie
It would it would be like wtf riddler with that actor dude lol
as someone who's never seen one of his movies before, i can agree
I watched all of them, but it still weird for me.
Uh is that even possible? The dude was in practically everything…
That’s the only thing !!! 😂
Jeff Daniels playing Lloyd is one of the smartest, funniest, and most wholesome ideas ever and it’s absolutely sweet
I love how Jeff Daniels clearly loves Jim and acting super silly together.
First guy was spot on. Even Jim looked impressed
Taran Killam was one of SNL's most talented and versatile members of recent years. Shame he left for a series he starred in :(
@@The-Joke-s-on-you I think a lot of people agree that SNL is really a springboard for talent
Taran Killam is a gem.
@@The-Joke-s-on-you I thought they fired him?
@@KJ-je9pm He made a statement a few weeks ago about the "real" reason why he left. Apparently, it was "less of a happy place to be" and more of a "competitive, exhausting environment". He didn't seem to like the direction the show was going, especially after Seth Myers had stepped down as one of the head writers. Taran became more and more unsatisfied with the way Lorne approached the show and supervised everything backstage. Shame nonetheless.
This is probably what Jim Carrey's hell looks like
Nope, this is just regular hell.
Caleb Alwayswill the bartender would be trump.
Caleb Alwayswill best comment on this video. Lmao
Lmao!
Caleb Alwayswill lol
You can tell Jim was holding back laughter when The Mask showed up.. and he didn't expect Jeff Daniels to show up.. He was genuinely surprised..
Not at all bro, he even threw an insult in there, just catch when he says "you should really stop smoking, you look a little green", it's a blatant jab and also catch when he asks for another drink after the first actor who tried replicating him and that didn't even seem like it was part of the script this whole skit was pretty bad and embarrassing. I felt bad for Jim kind of, but he did it for the fans, btw I am a huge fan of Jim Carrey and this seemed like it was written for a class of 4th graders
Of course he expected it. This is all scripted. But it's still fun to see
@@ThePeacePlant bait spotted
@@ThePeacePlantWasn’t this SNL? If so, there’s your answer. I haven’t seen anything funny on SNL since the 90s.
@@JKentF I once heard it said that the very best season of SNL is the one from when you were 13 years old. Too true.
Jim is trying so hard not to laugh, and you can see how impressed he is in his face:)
Are you sure?
They tried this lots of times, how can be possible still laugh at this? U all terrible liers and low IQ people with zero knowledge in their life
I think Jim is smiling so they won't feel awkward.
I'm not sure if he's impressed, but he's trying really hard not to laugh, he is.
Impersonating Jim Carrey Infront of Jim Carrey , well that needs courage
Honestly, I figure there's two ways to go with it: make it obviously an homage, and try not to be too ridiculous and over the top with it... Or go as over the top as you can, so it's practically unrecognizable. We saw a bit of both in this, to varying degrees of success.
It also needs to be good.
yeah.. talent didnt seem to be important hahaha
Well they aren't really impersonating Jim Carrey, they are impersonating Jim Carrey impersonating Max Headroom.
No that's called an intervention and that's a good thing they stop there because if I saw any more watts I'm pretty sure there would have been more than enough to check on the lights after all how many eggs does it take or in this case how many carries will take the screw in a light bulb just one
The ironic thing about this, is the fact the real Jim Carrey was the only normal person in the scene.
no he wuznt
Cremudgen Guy -
I mean, acting normal. It’s not a normal thing for Jim Carrey to be normal, and it was as big a shock to me as everyone else.
So true
Agree
That was the whole point of the sketch
Jim may never understand the joy he brought us.
He knew. That's why he did it.
Taran Killam was one of the best people SNL EVER had. His impressions and skits are beyond hilarious and perfect!
Agreed. Totally underrated.
he should definitely be ace ventura reboot if they go that route
And that's why I'm upset that MADtv didn't utilize him well. Wasn't that show supposed to be the SNL killer? The sketch show that made SNL look tired and dated? In some people's eyes, it was, but Phil LaMarr from the original cast said that MADtv was a shameless knockoff of SNL and not a hip (for the 1990s) alternative. Yeah, Fridays from the early 1980s was also a shameless ripoff of SNL, but that show actually used its cast members well and did things that made SNL (at the time) look tired and dated. My point to all of this is: for everyone complaining that SNL screwed over Taran Killam for not staying on the show longer, always remember that MADtv was worse at it (Killam was on MADtv for half of their seventh season and was let go before the start of season eight, when the show really started to turn around. Killam could have been part of that).
Nobody can imitate Jim's body language, but the first dude's voice was spot on
Taran Killiam. That guy was brilliant. Idiotic move to fire him from the show.
