    I'd go with the lemon juice instead of the ascorbic acid. Why? Ascorbic acid is not really vitamin C unless it has the cofactors and such. Lemon has very little sugar, so sugar from the lemon shouldn't be a concern at all. The full-spectrum vitamin C from the lemon, along with various phytonutrients, will benefit your health a great deal more than ascorbic acid will.

      It's really sad when you go into Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Target and any pharmacy, they are loaded with synthetic vitamins. Just makes me cringe. Vitamins are supposed to help us not kill us. One of the worst is synthetic vitamin e like tocopherol instead of tocotrienol. The sad part is tocopherols are in a large portion of our food which is illegal in a lot of countries, go figure.

    I have to have real lemons. They are part of my skin care routine. I consume the juice of a whole lemon every day. I use the inner area of the freshly juiced lemon and rub it on my face, neck, hands, elbows, and feet. Let it sit about five minutes then wipe off with a cold wet rag. A dermatologist with gorgeous skin prescribed this to help me get rid of my teenage acne without any extra products. She also prescribed a diet of water, greens, vegetables, brown rice, eggs, and fish. She changed my life for the better. As I learned more about clean eating over the years I learned how to eat foods that nurtured my body. I'm very happy with the results in my "old age". With all the money I've saved on retinol products by not using them I can afford more lemons!

    Some people add a little cayenne pepper to the acv drink. It’s great to clear sinus congestion and open up the cardiac arteries. If you use lemon juice instead of the vitamin C, then drink with a straw so the lemon juice doesn’t erode your tooth enamel.
    I also fast for 16 hours and limit carbs to 20 or less per day. The carbs that I eat are vegetables. My fasting blood sugar is going down and I’m losing weight.

I drink APC before every meal and I have maintained my ideal weight and it eliminated my heartburn issues. I will try adding lemon juice. I take my magnesium at night along with my fish oil to relax me at night . I also fast. I put some MCT oil in my coffee to help me feel full . I also add chocolate collagen in my coffee which may take me out of my fast for a short period of time even though it says it contains no sugar. These ingredients in the morning definitely helps move the bowels in the morning. I may try your remedy in the morning

    There's also a very important relationship between magnesium & calcium, so an appropriate ratio of *BOTH* minerals is necessary for these minerals to be effective.
    Magnesium is an important part of calcium absorption. It helps to stimulate a vital hormone, calcitonin which assists in maintaining bone structure by pulling calcium out of blood & soft tissues and putting it back into the bones. This helps prevent arthritis, osteoporosis and kidney stones.

    thanks for the recipe. I am trying to lose weight. I do try the intermittent fasting, but some days it is hard. So this is worth a try. I will have to try a Soda Stream. I have a daughter with bone problems and at one time was told that a lot of carbonation could cause her problems, but I used to make "pop" for my kids with it at times, mixing carbonated water with lemon tea and another juice or something mixed with the water made it flavorful and bubbly and my kids liked it. But after that phase I never have used carbonated water for much. I even have some effervescent magnesium witih raspberry lemon flavor. I might try that with the water and a bit of lemon juice, I usually have lemons on hand and maybe some of the acv. I have a bottle of carbonated water that has been waiting for something to happen to bring it out and use it, so I may do some version of this. I am trying very hard to stay commited to no sugar and intermittent fasting. I am starting to see that I am losing the weight. I have a lot to go, so I hope I can find my own version of this to help me keep going. I do take a vitamin for my vitamin C, so maybe the lemon will be ok for taste. I don't mind that much sugar. That much is minimal to me. I'm sure it is much better than a snickers bar. Thanks for sharing! I'm going to try your other suggestions of options to try.

Later in the day, I have a second glass of water with another half-squeezed lemon (no ACV this time). I found this to very helpful in just making me feel good and eliminating any gut issues.

    ACV, and lemon also stops excessive burping at night. I was up all night burping, and found a video on stopping burping with ACV, and lemon.I tried it, and after one month of use, the burping, and gas vanished.

      I think the lemon and ACV resolved your burping issue because they provided acid for your stomach. Most people think they have too much acid in their stomachs when, in fact, they have too little. Both lemon juice and ACV have completely resolved my indigestion issues and I no longer have any need for antacids like 'Tums,' etc.

    Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid, which has an alkalizing effect on the body
    So which is it? Do these “acidic” supplements help with digestion because of its acidic nature or is it because it alkalines the body???

    • @lapislazuli7876
      @lapislazuli7876 Год назад

      Certain organs in your body need acid. Digestion for example and the liver and kidneys need that acetic acid. It lowers blood sugars and aids digestion. But you also need to alkalise. So it’s. A balancing act of having both alkalising and acidifying elements in your diet. I think the way to do it is to use ACV before/during a meal, and then at other times (eg; in morning or afternoon) take alkalising supplements like chlorella and spirulina, as well as green juices. This combination should create the right kind of balancing act. Oh! And don’t forget to have your daily sauerkraut,

    One caution: if you’re using a CGM, be aware that a high dose of vit C will give you a false sugar spike on your sensor. And one question: are you using ACV with the “mother”? That gives a nice shot of probiotic with your am fluid. Regarding the turmeric, it needs a oil/fat and a dose of pepper to activate. Does the oil break the fast?
