Great information! Thank you! Except for the advice to go see my doctor. Whenever I do, my doctors all send in a nurse to do all the preliminary checks (blood pressure, weight, etc.) while the doctor is shopping for a new car over the internet. When I do see a doctor, he prods me, asks me questions, and then recommends another doctor. Then I get a bill for $800.

Lol, also, no doctor will ever ask you what you eat or how you sleep (2 of the most critical aspects of health), but you’ll walk out of the office with a handful of the latest prescriptions du jour (because he wants a really NICE car). And whatever you do, DON’T tell a doctor that you’re in pain, because you’ll immediately be flagged as ‘med seeking’.

The medical care and hospital is horrendous most of the times. My very much loved husband of 65 1/2 years, my childhood friend, my first and only love just died of hospital and Rehabilitation Centers’ neglect.
He had COVID and was hospitalized on Nov.21/2021. He was not very sick but was diabètic and 88 years old, so he was hospitalized. That was the last time that my husband was normal, just COVID.
I got COVID at the same time, was hospitalized with pneumonia. Then was also transferred to the same Rehabilitation Center. I came out and I am Ok. I am 87 years old.
I am normal and alive; my husband fell originally at the hospital on Nov. 2021 while being treated for COVID. Actually, he fell twice and on both falls he hit his head. He was not examined, nor tested for internal injúries; we were not even notified. He recovered from COVID and was transferred to the same Rehabilitation Center where we shared the same room.
At once I noticed that my husband was showing signs of cognitive problems. He never had any. I had studied 1 1/2 years of Nursing when younger and recognized his symptoms. My daughter begged and begged the Head Nurse for a head MRI or Cat Scan for my husband, but was always denyed.
Eventually he had the test but the damage of the hematomas and the hemorrage in his brain had done so much damage that his body survived but he lived 1 year and 2 months in and out if the same hospitals and 3 Rehabilitation Centers.
He would have new complications, 911 would send him to the hospital, but he would pick there something new.
He was hospitalized about 6 time through the year. He got infected again with COVID at the Hospital, later infected again with the flu and pneumonia, later infected with UTI in 3 different occasions, and on the last time that he was hospitalized, he aspirated either water or particles of food. He came home weighting 122. lbs, using oxygen, in and out of conciousness, lost his voice, somewhat paralyzed on his left side ( leg, arm and hand ). They claimed that he had a stroke. He was having breathing problems even though he was receiving oxygen all the time.
The whole year was a nightmare. I cared lovingly for him, paying careful attention to all his needs. This last trip to the hospital, when I kissed him good-bye, I knew he was not coming back.
We have bills of much more than $1,000,000.00 and more coming. We have Medicare which pays 80% and we have a private health insurance from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey for which we pay a little over $12,000,00 a years. What for?
A year and a half ago, my husband was strong, lucid, working hard in the garden and enjoying it. He had been an honest, law-abiding citizen, hard worker, no drinking, no smoking, no swearing, no vulgar expressions, responsible, I could go on and on.
He had been my childhood friend forever, till we discovered that we were in love when he came back discharged from the Air Force.
He comes from males that have longevity into their 90’s and this was not meant to be.
Our country is deteriorating more and more and atrocious medical care is also growing.

I never really had much hair on my legs since I was a teen. I'm 46 and I have very little hair on my legs. I definitely pay attention to videos like this. Especially when it comes to my health. My hands and feet are always cold. It's been that way for a long time. I also learned that other things could have the same symptoms as well so sometimes when we see videos like this we get scared. It's always good to know these things but sometimes it's not always what you think it is. Thanks for the video. 🙏 for anybody going to tough times because we all do sometimes

Enjoyed this video but I just want to say that if you are experiencing some of these symptoms doesn’t mean it’s due to atherosclerosis. Like franks line for instance, I have those lines on both of my ears but so does my mother and she is well into her 70’s and hasn’t had any issues with her heart. She told me she’s had them as long as she can remember and also losing hair on your lower legs, ankles and toes could simply be friction alopecia from socks rubbing. Always get tested if you have concerns. But just wanted to put that out there. Keep up the good work doc!

Wow, I've never been to a doctor as good as this video in my entire life. Doctors don't do preentative medicine in this country they bombard healthy people with medication and question our sanity because we wonder if some chronic aches and pains mean anything. I hope I can integrate all of the info in this video, so that it is second nature and common sense, doctors and the medical system is just here mostly to find a way to extract money from us, you are on you own for the most part. I don't have heart disease and heart problems, but I don't want to get them and his helps so much to stay on track. Great stuff.

I have to say, these videos on cardiovascular have taught me more than the three cardiologists I’ve seen over the years. I am disgusted that no one told me that stents were only going to last a few years. I have six stents placed through three separate events over the past ten years. Also, HDL and LDL was never really explained well to me until these videos.

BINGO. My cardiologist didn't even mention a stent. He said in the event there's a blockage, they'll use a balloon to open it back up, and that's it! That was after a stress test, where I was able to go 8 + minutes but had no chest pain but they said it showed some abnormalities (what? I don't know, they didn't tell me but acted like it was an emergency). I was given no options, just come back in 3 days later for an angiogram & during which time was told I had a 70 to 80% blockage was found but I refused the stent. The 3 days after the stress test gave me enough time to learn that I had options but these people never mentioned them. Unfortunately, I should have refused the angiogram but felt that I needed to have it just to know what was going on. Then my primary Dr told me that blocked arteries CANNOT be reversed. Another lie. And NO ONE mentioned that stents only last 6 months to 2 years-so what happens after that? People need to know.
I never knew that our hearts make new blood vessels to get blood where it needs to go when there's blockages. It's amazing! But we have to eat healthy and MOVE!! Getting good sleep is important and prevent & control STRESS. I struggle w/stress & I'm fighting every day to reverse this shit and I can tell I'm getting stronger. I mean how bad can it be if I can get on the treadmill and do an hour and have NO chest pain? I don't trust doctors-especially in the Fauci era-that guy has a terrible history using medicine to getting rich. You want to believe all he says then sure, go get your stents, take your blood pressure medications, your statins and don't forget your vaccines and just keep taking more medicines to fix the pain but not the illness. This whole thing is a joke. If you're not self educating then you're letting yourself be lied to. And btw Mike, you can still put yourself back together ever after having all those stents,, if you haven't already-start eating clean-stay away from processed foods, I'd say stop eating meats-look into the Ornish diet, there's Dr. Essylton on YT along with Dr Won.. Lots of information to get on the right track..! I personally need to find a doctor I can at least work with & trust so I can get blood tests and keep up on progress. I did get a blood test in May 2022-and all of my cholesterol was now all in the green. Triglycerides were low-everything was good! God bless!
PS wow. YT uses some kind of software that deletes comments after you've posted. I had to rewrite after the stuff I mentions about Fauci.. Can't trust NO BODY today..!! And who's really in control???

Hey, thanks for the tips on the diets and doctors to research. Yeah, I’m onboard with everything you said. I think it’s only going to get harder to find safe food to eat. I don’t trust anything our government has to say anymore. I pray and ask God’s blessings and protection ver the food. I think that’s the best safe guard against any garbage they put in our food. Finding a doctor who will work with you without pills is getting extremely difficult. God bless you as well.

RE "heart problems' there are indeed many many people suffering from clogged arteries and that is a problem for the heart. But there are also lots of people with a "different" heart problem that are not easily seen like the problems associated with obesity. Yes, I'm talking about arrythmias. I have some that are serious, A-fib and V-tac. I long ago learned the importance hydration and electrolytic minerals such as zinc, calcium and magnesium. I would appreciate seeing a video about such conditions, conditions that typically fly "under the radar" until someone needs to go to the Emergency room to be defibrillated.

#3 is incorrect, it's not a build up of cholesterol in the arteries it's a build up of calcium that was sent there to repair chronic inflammation in that area, the LDL is the car that transported it there. but it's a misconception that ldl cholesterol is the cause of this plaque build up.
This matters because lowering the cholesterol won't help but adding vitamin K2 will since it lowers blood calcium.
BTW, it's when this calcium deposit ruptures and forms a clot that people have a heart attack if the artery is 100% blocked.

    **Important Correction Notes*:
-Most sources I see show butter has roughly 0.5g per 14g (tablespoon), and margarine has 2.1g trans fat per 14g per tablespoon. In no way am I saying butter is horrible for you (in fact, I eat it regularly without issues). I link to what these studies are saying.
    - There are also new studies now debating whether HDL & LDL is good or bad (or is it just inflammation, as some studies claim); I definitely agree that no one has all the answers yet and am open to new opinions. Even if not technically true, there is a correlation between them (even if the mechanism is different than we believe.)

-Statins: I don't prescribe them as a lower extremity specialist. There is a negative consensus building up against them. Always check with your doctor to see what the proper medications are for you. 😀
    - Are fruits healthy? We could debate this forever, but in moderation, I believe these are an amazing source of nutrition and go over the undeniable benefits in my other videos (but in no way does not mean going crazy eating just fruit all day.)
-We really appreciate you, and thanks for watching!

First of all..many ( perhaps most) people who seek out topics like this do not have primary care physicians, cardiologists. Etc. Many have had such negative experiences with the Healthcare system that they steer clear of drs and try to self treat.
For liability reasons of course " see your dr" and " this is not a substitute for medical care" blurbs are necessary. But, TBH people who self care only go to the Dr when they cannot treat or are stumped in how to handle an issue.
I would not be reading anything on this site if my feet did not hurt. I am certain there is neuropathy as the top of my toes burn. I may also have a blockage as I have 1 leg that is much more prone to edema than the other.
I also have white coat syndrome. I do not fear dying, but if still alive, I want to be healthy. I seem to be pretty healthy and get lots of lab work but in the end, I self treat. My syndrome is not fear only, I loathe drs. Several people in my family are dead because of drs and both I and my family have has a lot of poor Dr care..so there is NO TRUST and no respect. In fact I have a lot of anger towards the profession and feel most of it is a scam.
Drs seem to be about light years behind every other scientific field in correlating nutrient chemistry with Physiological chemistry.
I am a scientist from the Pharmaceurical mfg industry and I have been left with rhe distinct impression that many drs haven't a clue at what they are doing.
I am actually not writing this to bash drs but to underline that a good % of anyone viewing this will not be going to any Dr no matter what you say.
We are not suicidal..we just feel we might live better lives without pills, and a symbiotic , too often relationship with drs.
Let's be honest, chronically ill patients and surgeries are key to most drs' and hospitals' longterm investment portfolio and over time many drs become inured to the tragedy/damage they cause..not to mention the mandate by many hospital groups for drs to pimp out most labwork, surgeries and treatment plans. Yeah, my hatred and distrust runs deep and trust drs worked hard to get me here ( my deceased husband was also a dr)
Thank you for your information..unfortunately many drs are so full of themselves rhey do not listen to any contribution their patients try to provide about their own condition. This is even more problematic if a patient is a minority because many drs choose to believe we are both slow, clueless and should just do as we are told.
I wrote all of this because I know a lot of people who share my outlook about drs and the Healthcare system and some of those people are drs and nurses. Go figure.

I lost trust of drs. They only prescribed medicines but will not tell you your illness. I think most of them are only after cash paid to them. I agree entirely to your statement. My husband died because of lack of medical knowhow from drs. They will suggest the easiest way to cure your illness but the truth is they only want to be paid in big cash. They are not interested in patient's wellness, that was what I figured out. When they feel patient no longer can afford to pay dr will leave you in the dark and let patient die anyway, patient is old and sickly.

Hello, thank you for this very informative video ! I have watched it and found a lot of valuable information. I also have a question if you could answer it: I have a purple spot on the nailbeds of 6 of my fingers ( 3 each hand, big finger and the ones that follow). I exercise 6 times a week: 20 minutes of calisthenics, 40 minutes weight lifting and 15 minutes on the ellipitical bike. I feel that everytime I exercise the purple spot practically is more emphasized. I don't feel any pain, I don't have shortness of breath...what could be the cause of that ? In the past during the pandemic I had covid 2 times and I was at one point diagnosed with anxiety disorder...can this be a reason ? I also drank about 100 ml of beet root juice everyday...I don't know if this could be the cause...I am really curious on your oppinion as all the doctors that I have been to said that I should not worry about it...Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my question!

Both forearms occasionally go numb and my face has been numb for 2 months. Also get a burning, although minor, sensation. Went to er for ct brain and an ekg. Nothing. Went to neurology and had blood work and about to have brain/neck mri. I think what’s beyond stressful is not knowing and they don’t even know sometimes. Makes me go online and research like crazy and sometimes I get more lost. Been very tired and depressed too. Only time I had numbness was when I was on antibiotics over the spring. Idk if those could have done something and it took time to brew.

I been checked out begin 2023 bevause of ritme disturbans, most extrasystoles, and had lyme, who I had longer time, not shure if these was a cause, I been checked with stresstest, echo, bloodwork, holter box 24 hour. nothing wrong, but I had very distubran extrasystoles. it did feel like the heart had a party and dancing. It did dissapair, but now back again, I am not tired, I can stress the heart with bicycle and do feel not bad, but have stress symtoms and possible a stressed diaphgraph, I did read this can trigger bad symtoms who are not dangerous but very very anouying and give stress also. I did measure blood pressure, when still on bed, I have 108/72 and when on out of bed I have 118/78. heartbeat 58 in bed and 61/80 out bed, depents of what I do. The heart do beat very sinusoidal, a nice sinusoidal feeling, what is oke. Yesterday I had alcohol, and I think that has triggering the extrasystoles again, not right a way, after I was home from 9 km biking, going to mine friend give no problems, no pain no palpilations, had to push to a strong wind for 9 km, I did also feel very good when I arrive there, did drink some beer, very relaxed. I gid go home and no problem also, did go watch movie, but after some hours I did get extrasystoles again, then small pauzes, som fast after each other, very bad stressfull feeling, so I did get some yoga, what do work, special when do plank, What I special did discover, getting up two small stairs, I get extrasystoles, when I get sex the same, when I do go bike and walk long distance I have no problem. This can be a symtom of stress what I had the past weeks, very bad, so I go do blood work, and special hormones. and stop alcohol and coffé.
I am active, is seems that some exercises or work do trigger the extrasystoles, I do then also feel very nervious also, I have spasms in muscles, do also feel these in chest, and looks like extrasystoles, so maybe because of stress, what I think it is, do pressure the heart,s freedom, like a tight diaphragm.
So as you see big story, a lot of people have these kind of disturbans in heart beat, almost all are harmless but it still after big checks in hospital give stress and still people do not believe the cardiologist that it is harmless. Oke, a simple pill in low dosage like beta blocker do work here very good, these pills also work against stress, who is for me chronical sometime.s.
Happenly, I do research and try to cope with it, but much more investications have to be done. And I eat healthy.

I use niacin With TMG and it cut my cholesterol levels in half inside of three months. My cardiologist and primary were floored. The old studies were using niacin without the flush. Now they know slow release flush is what makes niacin so kick ass. Be sure to use the equivalent mg of TMG to protect your liver. As always, do your homework and do what's best for you.

@falcorthewonderdog2758 Honey though natural is like fruit. Agave and other sweeteners and produces the same insulin response as sucrose, lactose, dextrose, and glucose , with the same detrimental trajectory.
People tout natural as if it is automatically safer and better. Foods including both natural and synthetic are actually just chemicals. Everything on the planet from your car to your body are made up of chemicals. They react to each other in complex ways.
We know thst a potato is perceived in the body as sugar, honey is perceived as sugar. As is high fructose corn syrup. Rice and a snickers bar.
The differences is rate of absorption BUT like all other sugars, honey is used for energy and the rest is stored..all sugars cause an insulin spike..all sugar is a poison. ALL of it.
It is also an integral part of most foods. Please be aware thst some of the most dangerous substances on the planet are all natural. Natural does NOT = safe or necessary. Anthrax, Amanita alkaloids, nicotine, ricin are all " natural" and from plants, all of those can kill you very quickly.
There is a certain synergy to what we digest. Honey does have certain benefits but the fact it is a sugar comprised of only 40% fructose, 30% glucose and the rest are other sugars and carbs.
Honey is not a superfood. No food is a superfood. That is a marketing term used to get people to hyperfocus on a certain item. It will be replaced over time ( as egg, milk, and soy have been) with long term studies debunking that status and the dangers associated with use. That is because no single food is a panacea. NONE.
Which is why a varied diet is best.
Foods are not ingredients for magic potions.

Actually, Dr Karen Sullivan a Neuro Psychologist and Dr Susan Hallenburg a premier Lipidologist and other studies and both experts on the Ketogenic Diet suggest the benefits of certain kinds of statins but only if it’s along with a COQ10 regimen. As far as dementia, important to know which kind of statin to use, one that can cross over into the brain or one that does not and the key to that is to have the COQ10. It can be extremely helpful. Certain statins are very beneficial. My doctor was thrilled to see my success in reversing my edema and weight issues with a ketogenic diet BUT still put me on a statin and COQ10. Dr Hallenburg says they can be very helpful.

And all up front, bellybutton down. Then my outer thigh is numb down to my knee and moves to my left half way. Sharp pains happens in my left leg. This whole area is incredibly painful and discomfort. Doctor said it because of the nerves they cut through. They gave me oxycodone muscle relaxer gabapentin and blood thinners. My incisions look good, I'm just hurting everywhere. Yesterday I drove for the first time and I was in so much pain I was crying, gave up and went home.
