One thing I will drop is since your doing the factory color all the stuff that is covered with other parts like the firewall let’s say if you remove some parts and see it is still the factory color and it matches the new coat! , It’s really good looking
Loved this series, im working on repainting a similar single cab longbed 6.0. I’m sure this question shows my ignorance but how much paint did you end up using?
Its a good question, I used probably a half gallon of primer in my body work video, about 3/4 a gallon of base coat, 3/4 gal reducer for base, maybe 28oz of sealer, and 1 gal of clear
I know this isn’t what this video is about but where did you get all your parts for the 05-07 front end? I want to upgrade to those headlights but I don’t want to cut my header panel and I like that whole front end anyway😂 also how hard was the swap?
The swap was very easy I bet it didnt even take a full half an hour to do minus painting the bumper of course. I originally cut the header panel to fit the 05 lights which i bought on eBay/amazon but later on I found the 05 header panel, grille, snd bumper on fb marketplace piece by piece, everything bolts on very easily

Did you ever end up putting fluid film on the underside of the 6.7?
No sir used por15 instead
@@nick7.3 what’s the difference?
@@Noah-rz5gz fluid film is like an oil/wax. POR15 is a thick paint
@@nick7.3 good choice. The POR-15 dries and makes a protective bond. The fluid film stays wet and attracts dirt/oil.
@@raizt1596 yes I HATE grease undercoating
