    I definitely agree, the FRX fuel crossover and high pressure oil crossover kits make the motor run so much smoother 👍👍

      I have the crossover but haven't installed it yet as I have heard mpg goes down with it.

    If you haven't already, may I recommend banjo bolts and fuel pump. Huge help to the fuel flow.

    Love my 7.3
    I have everything Riffraff makes on my motor except valve covers. I also installed their fuel filter between the tank and fuel pump. The dog house breather I turned around on the valve cover and ran a line down to the frame to a catch can and back up to the intake.
    I’m running an Edge CS2 on my truck. The tow mode really perked up my truck. Really like how you can have five gauges. I set mine up to read boost, EGT, coolant temp, fuel pressure ( at the bowl ) and ICP pressure.

    Next time you have a chance you should change out that upper radiator hose so it goes around your serpentine belt and not through it. Makes roadside belt changes possible. Nice video btw.

    Nice, I haven’t installed the hydra chip yet, but I have the fuel rail crossover, the oil rail crossover, the blank turbo pedestal, and the up pipes. Truck definitely feels like it has a touch more get up and go.

    7.3 and a Starbucks. Right on! :-) Just finished putting my 7.3 back in. Rebuilt it and did numerous mods and deletes and upgrades. Starbucks every day....drove me right through to the finish line. LOVE your 1 ton. I have a 3/4, also white. Want to add a white 1 ton. Yours looks great.

    That's a really clean 7.3 man, 2wd? Either way that's a keeper. Need to do a headlight update and raptor grill with a bumper. I got the headlights with the wrap around led as a running light. Really makes the front end look more modern

    • @THECONDOR98
      @THECONDOR98  Год назад

      Yeah it's only 2wd but for hauling purposes that actually helps me. Ive upgraded the headlights to the "6.0" style from amazon which helped but the bumper and side steps still make it look Like a grandpa haha

    Nice job Tony, I did the RiffRaff hoses and added a 14 Blade Wicked Wheel and it woke my truck up coming off idle. Cool truck. Change out the head lights next. I did mine and man I love em. I did the 05-07 No Cut mod headlights here; ruclips.net/video/z0LMjxBRKjc/видео.html and added some AUXITO LED headlights here; ruclips.net/video/svE8Be-Su58/видео.html and it made a huge difference in lighting over stock, especially on wet pavement at night. Best Wishes & Blessings Tony. Keith Noneya

      Thank you man!! That was my next plan. Now that we’re coming up on fall and winter and the day gets darker sooner, I really noticed how weak these headlights are. I saw those $100 replacements on Amazon, but didn’t know what to think of them, they are completely clear, but I’ll check out your video.

      @@THECONDOR98 Just don't forget to align them after you install them. I have a video on that on the channel as well. If you're short cash, after all that RiffRaff purchase, just polish the old headlights with 600 grit wet dry paper and water. Then use some NuFinsh, orange bottle at the local auto parts store, and buff it with an old T-shirt. Then drop in some of those AUXITO LED headlights & align them. You'll be blown away at what you've been missing going down the road. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

    How did you mount the bracket for the relays on the right plenum?

    So did the plenums make any gains? Or are they just pretty?

    • @THECONDOR98
      @THECONDOR98  Месяц назад

      My plenums were leaking so I needed to replace them anyways. They can warp over time but these ones are billet so they will remain solid. Im assuming for high boost these will do much better but yea.

    Don't delete the CCV and don't vent it to the atmosphere. You will NOT like it nor will the people in the drive thru with you. Do a oil-catch can. I did one from Mishimoto. They're really nice.

    Did you have to cut the bolt for you’re plenums ? And do you have a l99 7.3

    • @THECONDOR98
      @THECONDOR98  Год назад

      No I did not have to cut it, that bolt that everyone cuts on RUclips installs is SHORTER from factory! This is to allow it to come out without hitting other things I have a later 7.3 not the early model.

    what are some upgrades to do if I wanna use a 7.3 as a tow pig to haul freight or cars etc

    • @THECONDOR98
      @THECONDOR98  Год назад +1

      That's what I used mine for, first of all Id recommend servicing it, make sure no oil leaks if possible, change your air filter with a nice quality one like Mann for example. Change the oil with some quality oil like I use Shell Rotella T5, depending on miles id change the rear diff oil I used Amsoil severe duty 75-140 and very very important if you're going to tow heavy CHANGE YOUR BRAKE PADS!!. I recommend a good brand and something for heavy duty applications. Ive had my brakes fail on a two car trailer fully loaded once and I had to come to a quick. stop using only truck brakes. well they were smoking... when I stopped. If I didn't change them beforehand Im sure I would have crashed.
      Now for upgrades my number one suggestion is a transmission cooler, the tranny coolers on these trucks simply aren't great from factory (if you have an auto like me) I bought a Mishimoto transmission cooler and changed my tranny filter and also used Amsoil transmission fluid. Secondly I Recommend a straight pipe, you can keep the resonator that comes With a straight pipe kit and the truck is barely louder but It helps it breathe better. Id also suggest getting a EGT sensor if you're planning to tow heavy and often and thats honestly about it,.
      The upgrades you see In this video are by no means necessary but I love this truck dearly so I decided to throw some extra parts on it.
      Good luck!
