There was low Icp due to no pressure at the sensor at first crank because no oil was coming out the pump just yet it had air. This is why we had a check engine light on. It went away when we drove the truck.

I have the full billet trans from warren and absolutely love it.
This thing needs the whole banks intercooler piping kit upgrade and an intake. I bet it would help with fuel economy and power.

Good stuff, keep it up! I've been on the fence for quite some time for what I want to do with mine. It's similar to yours just a little lighter and less miles. Those 180/30's look promising but a 205/80 hybrid is also such a temptation. Your next video needs to have an EGT while towing. Just say'n.

You should look into the 444 fab e fuel kit for your 7.3, inch noticed a nice throttle response in my 7.3.

I think that obs 7.3 would really love a t4 kit nothing wrong with a kc turbo but a t4 kit would show a lot of improvement.
If he keeps it up he'll have a truck that runs almost as good as a 6.7. But cost even more!
Leaving a ton on the table with the stock mechanical fuel system, not supplying enough fuel for sure to 180/30’s. Also if you would have filled the hpop res it would have fired up like you shut it off for the night.
If you put a intercooler on it you should do a mpg test before and after
Those hard shifts could be caused by leaky capacitors/broken traces in the PSOM. Faulty PSOM can cause the OD light to flash and do weird things to the line pressure in the trans, and cause the trans to randomly shift into neutral and/or skip gears.
Could also just be a bad trans 😂
You guys should look at transmission upgrades. I pull a 10k camper and my motor never has issues. My transmission has been rebuilt twice.

In an OBS your factory HPOP was weaker than in a Superduty. The swashplate angle is quite a bit less. So with this upgrade you are now likely ahead of even a Superduty HPOP. My point though is that the gains will be more dramatic on the OBS when you upgrade to an aftermarket HPOP.
sounds like you have an up pipe leak somewhere i can hear the squealing before the turbo lights
With all your air and fuel upgrades you really should consider doing some gauges
usually on a duramax your hottest tunes gets you the best fuel mileage

Mine has a small metal tag on the did that says the gear ratio on it.

With an e4od? Not much. Even the stronger 4r100s Don't hold up well if you tow while tuned.

Pros and cons to all of them. Also never have to smog my 7.3 here in Cali. Truck gets from A to B pretty quick for a daily. Not buying a 1 ton to haul ass.

I don't understand why you and so many others think "rolling coal" is a good thing. That black smoke is soot aka unburned diesel fuel. Not only do you have money blowing out of your exhaust, but that soot is also forced past the piston rings into your oil. It is abrasive and corrosive. I'm no "greenie", but this is wasteful and destructive to the engine.
Didn’t say anywhere in the video that rolling coal is a good thing. With the turbo and injector set up I have now the amount of coal that is rolling is normal for a 7.3
Please cuss less and not say "Oh My God" anymore.
