Great content brother, you should be very proud of all the work you did bringing this rig back to life. Such a better option than paying 85k or more for a new truck that isnt built as well.

That is an inspiring restoration. I am waffling on doing restoring my 2007 F250 Crew Cab Harley edition. Just about to roll over 220k on it. One of the few 6.0’s out there that has never been bulletproofed. It is pretty nice shape, but still want to do the following items:
    - New front bumper, upper cover, and valance
    -08-16 rear bumper
-repaint front suspension components, frame, axles, etc
    -new Harley grill
    -Amp Research boards
    -Katzkin seats covers with ventilation
-remove the ghost flames and repaint entire truck
-remove the 6” RC lift and replace with a BDS lift.
-replace the headlights (again). My currents one peeled and the LED DRL quit working on one of them. Not sure what to go with the second time around. Alpharex???

On my 2012 6.2 CCSB, I got crunchy rocker panels (only the bottoms of the parts you can see below the doors) and on the bed, I got wheel arches that need cleaning up, as well as a bed floor and rails that could use patching up (I'm just replacing the floor and all 5 bed rails), a few small, but still noticeable dents on the cab and bed and I need a new chrome piece on the passenger side of the rear bumper.
As far as I am concerned, it's worth it to clean an old truck up if it runs strong. The new trucks are too much, and the used market ain't much better.
My cab corners are still solid and I'm not using the rig for towing daily anymore, so you've got me seriously inspired...!

Friend: I wish for you to know this: Christ is the people's savior, and no one is their own savior; Most people ( including “Christians” are not on the straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life; Good people do not go to heaven, but forgiven sinners do; those forgiven sinners are only those who are in the faith of Christ Himself, not those who live by the "bible rulebook", but those who obtain their righteousness in the One who makes righteous, through faith-
Friends BELIEVE in JESUS to wash YOUR SINS CLEAN- and then REPENT your sins! Faith and repentance come in the same basket, or there is no salvation; Only by the name of Jesus the Christ the Son of God do we have a route of entry into the kingdom of Heaven. Enter into that perfect peace and oneness with God through Jesus the Narrow Gate, the Life, the Good Shepherd, the rock (foundation). We acquire righteousness unto salvation, through our faith in the Savior Christ ( roughly can be swapped out with the word trust ) alone. But faith that is true, and saves a person, is not fruitless ( non-productive ). That natural fruit of an apple tree is an apple, the natural fruit of a pear tree is a pear, and the natural fruit of saving faith is repentance and the Holy Spirit indwelling a true believer ( being a believer is not just believing in the existence of God, or in the existence of Jesus and going to Church on sundays, but being transformed and renewed as a creature by the faith of the Gospel ( the Gospel is the “good news”, of Jesus's death and resurrection to win salvation for believers )
This is no game, and this hopefully was a very convicting read; this is a very summarized version of what you can read in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John-
May Christ be with you 🩷

Great restore/upgrades. I've been looking for a set of stacked headlight assemblies for my 2K F350. Think those would fit next to the stock grill assembly? Also, did you say you were required to replace the back plate? to make the 05 headlamps work?
I agree with your statements, body work is something you perfect over years of trial and error. My experience has been mostly error, and all I have wrong with mine is a small ding next to the rear tail lamp. I'll probably avoid the error and have someone try to pull it out. Restored, these trucks are better than new.

    • @nick7.3
      @nick7.3  7 месяцев назад

Thank you, I also was failing at body and paint for years before I got good, yes for a full 05 clip swap you need the header panel, if you want just the 05 lights you can trim the header panel and install them reusing the 99-04 grille and bumper. Riff raff diesel has instructions on how to trim the fiberglass header panel to make them fit.
