    Switch your color to the 12a-Blue. It's in the clairol liquid bottle version. You'll get a less orange and more true blonde. Also use 1:1 instead of 1:2 you'll get less diluted color and more toning action full 5 levels of lift if you leave it an hour on. I learned this in school. Great video, your hair looks good👍

      Thank you! I'm going to remember that. I have a piece towards the front that is really fried. Don't know if it's my fault though.

      Can this work if I want to lighten my dark roots to dye it a light brown? My mid/ends are a copper red, so I’ll need color remover for it but I’m stuck on what to do with the roots without damaging them with bleach

    My roots are black but fade to brown in the sun by one or two inches of growth. I used a high lift violet blonde and 40 volume and it worked amazingly. I just used a mixing bottle with a tip to squirt the dye onto my roots in sections. 45 minutes to process. Really lovely makeup!

    I would do the 12aabv from clairol it’s a double ash and it has a blue violet base so it’s made for dark roots like yours (:

    Great upload, I have just had mine done with highlift instead of bleach too. You look amazing and remind me of a young Miriah Carey, so pretty.

    Yes girl.currently doing mine with ion highlift and 30 developer. Doing my roots. I found out that I don't have to bleach. But if your roots are very long it doesn't work as well. It's way better than bleaching. I'm looking for a shadow root type. Darker roots. But not as dark as I have natural. Then I'm dying the rest with a 10 dev and a blonde for the rest of the blonde. Love your video thanks

    I do the same thing to my hair so I can keep the pink in my hair. My hairstylist approved of me doing this method since I don’t really need it that light to be pink. I LOVE how that looks on you!!

    Your hair looks beautiful. I use the 12BB by clairol for my hair with 40vol and it comes out like the bottom of your hair. I love this color too ♡ I used to use the wella 12A, but I feel like this is more gentle on my hair.

    • @JenzBeautyStyle

      I would love to use 40 vol too but I'm scared my hair will snap. I'll have to check the 12BB for sure

      @@JenzBeautyStyle I just took a second look and saw the color is actually 12AA-B.

      I wonder what's the difference between 12a and 12aa. I'll have to check

    • @MsLessette
      @MsLessette 3 года назад +2

      @@JenzBeautyStyle the 12AA has a double ash base in the 12AA-B it's a double blue base so it produces an extra cool result. In our brunette hair it really helps tone it a bit more.

    I think this hair color is really really beautiful, nothing wrong with it
    Also I want to mention how much you look like a younger Mariah Carey. Your beautiful 👌☝️👏👏👏👏🌹⚘

      I tryed this brand with 40 developer and actually got the same color as you so it did not make much difference. I have dark Italian roots. I want it lighter..have you ever tried doing it twice? Im wondering if it would lighten up more if I try it for a second time or do you think it would do nothing? Last opinion is bleach

    Can I do this on brassy roots I have to color roots black and brassy

    • @elsagrace3893
      @elsagrace3893 2 года назад

      I used 40 volume with a high lift violet blonde. It gave me root color similar to hers. My natural roots are black but by the time they grow out about 2 inches they fade to dark brown. My brows are black. Try it. Use a cool violet, blue or ash high lift.

    Won't your scalp feel pain or ache because of 30volume developer you are using

    • @JenzBeautyStyle
      @JenzBeautyStyle  3 года назад +1

      I don't feel anything but I'm sure that depends on the person. I wouldn't do 40 though

    • @jasontang9192
      @jasontang9192 3 года назад

      @@JenzBeautyStyle because you didn't touch the scalp?anyway high lift cream is actually 000-000 which is nowadays bleach powder + 000 so it's like half bleaching which didn't too much dmg on hair but most can goes golden only or white golden.

      My scalp felt like hot peppers were smothered all over it with this developer.
      Scared the living life out of me and never again I’d use it
