Poor guy wanted to do right by his brother-in-law, but was compelled by honor to aid the Asakura. He was-by all rights- trapped. Gods, what a terrible burden to bear.
The Real Life Nagamasa was absolutely brilliant as a leader, and an extremely honorable man. However, it really seemed like the world was against him; Putting him in bad spot after bad spot, never once letting him breathe. His fate was a tragedy, and really undeserved. Even so, and even as an enemy, I'm happy this game represents one of Nobunaga Oda's greatest threats as an actual threat all things considered.

Azai's theme is one of those songs that paints a picture clearly. You can really hear the sadness and resolve behind it. It's very much the same reason why I absolutely loved Ageha's theme in Shinobi it follows that same sadness and determination. In Ageha's case she destroyed a clan because she loved the main character's brother. Sad music is great.
Dark realm music always hits differently! there is always a sense of doom or tragedy in it depending on the boss. one of my favorite is Shuten Doji theme when it enters Dark realm mode. that dude is a menace and I love it! Bruh im 4 months behind replying! 😅
By far my favorite Nioh 2 boss theme. The somber tone of it really hits you immediately. And given the real life history of the character it actually fits a lot
First boss to actually make me use up 200% of my lung capacity after I managed to beat him. I was NOT prepared to go into such a showdown against him while this kind of music plays...
The fact, that Nioh 2 got no hard boss for me so far, doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy this game so far. I really love it! I play it on livestream and my community loves it. Especially this fight. I could not dodge Azai, but got the fact, that you can block nearly every attack except grabby grabs. This made this fight the slowest fast fight in souls history. And it fits perfectly. Waiting for this honorable fighter in japanese history, fighting for his destiny was one of the most epic moments of the game so far. A fair, honorable fight. My watchers were stunned. Great fight. My fav theme beside the afterglow theme. Great work. Thanks for the upload.
Boost your luck with tea ustensils, get item drop rate with all your armor, 2 netsuke sudama, and of course hunter's blessing with kodama bowl and kodama soulcore (you can get this soulcore by giving other soulcores to sudamas) Good luck farming.

Both Nioh games always had so much beautiful and iconic soundtracks, from empowering adrenaline-boosting tracks to tragic and breathtaking tracks. Its a masterpiece of a franchise.
@@kangtheguardian1214 In normal phase, you can basically purposely hit his wing to get him to parry, then just dodge behind him. His followups have poor tracking, even the delayed one meant to punish you for buffering dodge immediately. Really simple if you want to ki break him quickly, bait it, dodge, hit with ki damage move, repeat. Dark Realm is a little more dangerous but he's really easy to burst counter with Feral or Phantom at least.

This soundtrack is boss's greatest weapon. I missed so many attacks and wasted plenty of potions because i got distracted by the music.

Chacha (Yodogimi) is Oichi's daughter with Nagamasa Azai. Hideyoshi (Tokichiro) made Chacha one of his wives.
