Wow! Tony what a genuinely beautiful authentic video, I was hooked from the start, whilst hooking up a 2nd monitor and playing this just made me stop at times and sit, as the emotion involved and your genuine life appreciation for things that have happened on your journey thus far. Awesome gratitude! Your channel deserves way more traction but you know what you're doing et all... Hope you don't throw the towel in as yes it's undervalued, for now, maybe not always and your content is quality. Your sincerity of making a channel of quality rather than chasing subs, likes etc to create financial gain shines through.
I stumbled on to your channel as I too have found anomalies sourcing editing work on YTJobs, things that just didn't add up ala project vagueness and $1000 to refer someone etc. I find it bizarre that some people supply links to give you a walk through on how they do their videos, as I believe in your quote of, a good editor should be able to watch content and know how certain things were achieved and if they've never created that certain effect, they should know how it can be done.
Thank you for this video and others that I've watched today AND have an awesome day!🙂

I have seen tons of various channels, too much yt really.
But I can tell you will blow up/ grow, you already have lot of great ingredients for what it takes:
    1) Great personality: humble, honest pov and you can present your thought in understandable and relatable way
    2) Great insights and knowledge
    3) Editing skills obviously
All there is left is to come up with great topics and present them in great way, and years of editing will surely help here too.
There is of course many other parts of making a successful youtube channel, but I am sure you can figure it out as it grows

I'm an editor as well, and I find many parallels with your story - not having finished university, leaving it behind to pursue editing, enduring a rough start, and then, after getting off the ground, going through a bad patch without finding any clients while spending the savings I had on expenses. Now, it seems I'm emerging from that tough period with a promising project that may require my full-time attention. Thank you for sharing your experience; it's truly inspiring

Man! I did listen from beginning to end, even though I wasn't planning to. I related to almost all of the stages of your story, especially the moment when you talked about feeling that you're gonna lose your job soon; exactly what I felt and what happened to me at the end of 2021. I hope at some day we would have a conversation, even if just saying hello!

This is one of the most authentic journey videos I’ve ever seen. Especially hearing you going to Columbia College Chicago (not too far from my Alma mater DePaul University), it literally hits close to home. You’ve really inspired me to keep on chasing video editing further as a passion. I just followed you on Instagram. Can’t wait to keep up with your journey. Thank you so much for sharing your story.

Hey Tony, this was just so incredible to watch. I've been editing long-form videos for Ali Abdaal full-time for an year now and was able to relate with you at so many instances especially the part where you expressed how grateful you feel to be where you are considering where you are coming from. Thank you for being so vulnerable on record. It's not easy but so helpful for others. Keep going brother!

Just made a video about your work evidently breaking down Thomas Frank's editing for other creators. Love the systems and style. Cheers my guy! BTW I'm in Los Angeles California and it's overrated. Bad quality of living. Might just be me. Work for a production company in LA. Was my dream and now I just want to slow down and have more time with my family lol. Best wishes!
