@@450tank first ticket I bought I was skeptical, couldn't really see that enough tickets would get sold to cover the awesome prizes, difference is Adrian has no motive to rip people off, he's in it for the long run, he legit wouldn't need to do the giveaway/raffle stuff anymore, he's got that much behind him. There could be 5, 10, 20 or 30 thousand entrants.
There might only be as little as 20 entrant names put into the system.
That would make less work for him.
Maybe it's a legal loophole but it still seems dodgy.
A friend of mine won the replica HK GTS Monaro earlier this year through CFAC, apparently $6m dollars was raised for the XBGT replica early this year too.
Bog repairs and paintwork in the rear pillar of the HK are noticeable standing at the drivers door and looking toward the rear of the car and other areas. Definitely not a professional job.
The car was handed over to him unregistered and in need of repairs to pass a QLD roadworthy inspection.
The over inflated valuation meant he had to pay over $9000 stamp duty/rego.
To everyone who has started or is thinking of starting their own business: *Believe in yourself and never give up.* If you can work 8 hours for someone else. You can work 2 hours for yourself.

Yep, not an original idea, been around for ages. It only takes advantage of unregulated gambling in a big gambling culture in Aus. Him and his mates are well known junkies and dealers . Everyone puts the work in, he’s just lucky.
One of the best things ive learnt recently is that family and friends don't want whats best for you, they want what's best for them.
Not always, personally I think if your family is there for you then you MUST be there for them. You can't want to come home and get help when you are down, but then when you are up get all salty when family asks for financial support.

Good upbringing. My dads a millionaire and drove a secondhand kingswood ute for a company car and HQ he’s owned for 30 years.
Ego doesn't belong in business...but if you do well then ego shows off big time!! The Portelli story has so many fishy gaps. Every hyper successful business either has a lottery element or is a front for shady practice. There are thousands that have tried but didn't have the lottery moment and some that have and had the lottery moment. There also plenty that have done well from legal grey areas but it's all part of the game. Just hard work or just smarts doesn't guarantee hyper success. Right now Portelli seems to be in the cult of personality business.
@@beauanderson7187 You mentioned legal grey areas. LMCT have gone from giving people ticket numbers to not giving ticket numbers and entering names of ticket buyers into their system X the amount of tickets they buy.
There is no proof all, or any of your entries are even in the system without receiving ticket numbers it's just THEIR word.
I've never heard of that being done anywhere else.

We are 11:00 minutes in and I still don't know what this dude did to make money? Your not asking the right the questions. I'm now 23:37 into this video and still don't know what this guy does to make money other than he gave away a free car at one point and something about a software that I still don't know what the name is or what it does? Call me the ultimate credit. But come dude get to the point. Lost complete interest in this video. Some guy got rich. Still don't know how other then a soft ware he built. Good for him. Didn't learn a single thing useful to apply to my life.

At 50 minutes when he says he wants to grind away working til he dies and how he doesn't want to be content and how he is not happy; his body language is that of an addict.. he literally squirms. He's a fiend for cash yet as i said is not even happy or content, and has no life Guy needs to chill and open his eyes to whats around.. Get some acupuncture and take a holiday lol
You spend half the podcast talking about how you want to do a better job of podcasting - and you don't do the basic job of explaining how the guys business works. You never asked:
-What do you sell?
-How often do you sell it?
-How much do sell it for?
-Who buys it?
After 90 minutes all I know is that he has some vague giveaway business. And the zero employees thing is misleading. If he has 3 contractors, he's getting help. And you didn't ask what the contractors do.
This is a terrible, terrible presentation of this story. You should have cut this podcast down to a few key insights, and then fleshed it out with a video explaining the business from start to finish. Look at Starter Story to see how it's done right.
And for the love of God - shut up about how you're building the best podcast. It's so boring to hear. Just do it.
Gotta say the interviewer doesn’t seem well prepared. He starts the interview without even introducing the guy. Who is he? What has he done? Why is he special? Why should I watch?
Adrian seems like a cool dude but I had to quit watching after ten minutes due to poor questions.
First podcast I’ve actually watched in full will definitely watch more by Frankie’lee , absolutely love Adrian he speaks truth no bullshit , don’t hate on someone that has built a future for himself or be jealous, be happy for someone that has made his dreams come true absolute legend god bless 🙏🏼👏🏼❤️
Adrian did 8 hour days not earning a cent trying to find a business model that works and after all those long hours of research and trial and error he finally found a subscription business model that made him successful. Very inspirational. He put in a lot of hard work initially but it all paid off in the end he never gave up like most successful entrepreneurs they fail & fall down but they get back up and keep going forward and don't give up their goals. Very Nice

The service he offers is a subscription based gambling model. Australia has a serious gambling problem, good on you Adrian for doing your market research and exploiting the gambling addicted, low socioeconomic Australians. These are the exact businesses our country needs, ones where we syphon money out of 1000s of pockets on a weekly basis and horde it for ourselves. thank you for thinking of the community.

Keep in mind he's raising money via give-aways. Which won't last long as you can't do give away as prime revenue to a business, but can to assist on marketing and sales.

The lmct model has a limited life span. The accumulating entries for subscribers puts new members at a huge disadvantage. Also it is getting too big making the odds of winning less appealing. I’m a member but probably not for much longer. Seems like there’s a lot of bought comments on this vid as well

@jeffye4301Couldn’t be anymore wrong. I have my own business which has done deals with LMCT+ and again you couldn’t be any further from reality. You have misunderstood the business model. The business is not simply giveaways, it is a loyalty rewards business. Members of LMCT+ receive discounts with all the partner businesses. That’s the core business. The giveaways are only something that he does as part of the business. It is called promotion and no it will not die off. People will never tire of the desire to win something they have always dreamt of. Look at Tattslotto. The odds of winning that are what? Yet millions of people still buy tickets every draw knowing full well they’re unlikely to win. The business has also not peaked 2 years ago. That $60 million turnover is no longer accurate, you can add about another 40 and that’s the turnover now.
The interviewer just lists platitudes and then puts words in the guests mouth for him to agree with.
Pretty dull.

Not some base level shit, about how is your day, how was your highschool like, but serious thought provoking questions about blue ocean opportunities and strategies

Hard to say he is giving away a house when its a raffle. So there could be 4 million in profit. Then splits that and gives a small amount to his charity. Bit like all these cars you see advertised as being given away but you have to buy tickets. Car worth $130,000 but 4 million in ticket sales and they give a small amount to a sort of charity they run and pocket all the rest. Like Classics for a cause. Since some people register it as a charity, they get tax cuts to minimize the running costs. So they pocket a lot of money as they can claim whatever they want as a ceo as a salary. I think these companies should be outlawed. A lot are in South Australia.

Same as Lotto but people will always be 'hoping' for the win. So he found a loophole & was lucky enough & smart enough to use it, good on him. Sure there's plenty of big companies that'll be exploiting loopholes. If he is at peace with it & can sleep at night then more power to him.

This is the first podcast I’ve ever watched. Adrian has changed my whole view what it takes to make it. Once I see a video longer than 10 mins I’m usually out and I’m always checking to see if it’s almost done. During the whole hour and 25 mins I didn’t check once. This has ignited my future. Frankie really wants Adrian to say something sexy but Adrian is literally saying 'just come with an idea, and do it'. That's the problem with podcasts, motivational content and the likes. It's trying to make something it's not. You can see it in Adrian's eyes that he knows this is a form of procrastination. And no disrespect to Frankie or any other podcaster, we face hard truths no matter who or what we are.

Im gonna have to disagree with 99% of the comments on here praising him. Yeah good on him for gettin in there and having a go and building lmct to the size it is now, but thats off the back of australians gambling 60 million a year from 2018 (300mil) to have a very very slim chance of maybe winning the lottery prizes of which 25 mil was paid out.
He avoided breaking the not for profit raffle laws preventing any business out to make a profit from promoting anykind of raffles by saying the monthly subscription loyal customers paid for was not for the chance to take part in the raffle but to be part of the rewards club and the tickets for the raffle were "gifted" to you each month when your subscription payment is made to the rewards club, essentially lmct+ use a word sallad to breakdown the sub as membership to the rewards club only and as a gift for making the sub you get "x" tickets for free into the raffle, all to avoid breaking the law
What's the point in wrecking yourself to you die? That's definitely programming from his father. The point of happiness is to connect with friends, be grateful for what you have, enjoy what you have, help other people.

Great pod and not taking away its value or the revenue this guy brings in, but effectively this sounds like a subscription based raffle with MLM attached to it. I’d be interested to see customer feedback or whether this is something the ACCC would find appropriate for consumers who are in essence gambling. Props for the efforts and growth, the model just doesn’t sound consumer friendly and may have regulatory/legal risks.

It's merely a loophole that allows these companies to not require a gambling license and be properly audited, that's why they are everywhere, I'm certain it will be closed soon enough, the govt hates missing out on millions.
If you actually listened to the podcast then you would have heard him say that at the beginning when he promoted entry to win his skyline, he got a phone call the next day from the ACCC shutting him down saying what he was doing was totally illegal. He then had a think about it and called them back and asked what if he was running a promotion for a giveaway to a customer? And they said ok yes that would be ok. So then he launched subscription based memberships to his car club and members got entered into a draw to win a car. Subscribers = Customers and entries for members to win a car = promotional giveaways to customers = totally legal to the accc. Definitely not gambling as members receive lifestyle benefits such as access to car shows, discounts from partner suppliers, blogs and reviews on cars and products etc etc. it’s not MLM , they just recruit “RUclips famous” or social media famous / essentially car influencers who have an organic fan base and work with them and offer them a cut out of memberships that are recruited through their fanbase. No different to other business’ who pay influencers to plug their product on their socials.

I just watched this the first time today. I've been making one-off purchases from LMCT+ for a while, probably won't ever win anything, and I might subscribe when aluttle bit clearer financially; but it gives me a smidgeon of hope every week. I have been intrigued by Adrian, decided I like and respect the man, so how good was it to have this insight into him - thank you, Frankie Lee.
Just one thing: I really wish for him to find peace and happiness in life, in what he is doing. Maybe knowing that he is spreading a lot of joy to a lot of people can go some way to achieving that for Adrian. There are so many of us out here who have very little, and to whom a win in a giveaway would be absolutely life changing.
I will keep on trying, would love a win, but would also love a chance just to meet the man himself.
