    One lesson I've learnt from billionaires is to always put your money to work, and diversifying your investments. I'm planning to invest about $200k of my savings in stocks this year, and I know I’ll make profits.

    • @larrypaul-cw9nk
      @larrypaul-cw9nk 4 дня назад +4

      That's correct. Diversification is the ideal strategy, in my opinion, because it can lessen the impact of a market catastrophe by distributing investments over a variety of asset classes, such as bonds, real estate, and foreign stocks.

    Amazing interview - I teared up when he talked about how his wife believed in him. It's 100% true - having a partner who you meet before you've had great success, who walks through hell with you and keeps telling you you're going to make it - that's the type of person so many of us want in our lives.

From paralysis, to borderline homelessness, to now being in a position to swipe the card for other, less privileged peoples' groceries. The most popular investment portfolio strategies include diversification, where you spread investments across different asset classes to manage risk. Another is the growth strategy, focused on capital appreciation through high-risk, high-reward assets. Income-oriented strategies target regular income from dividend stocks or bonds. Finally, there's the value strategy, seeking undervalued assets for potential long-term gains.

    • @NorthCarolinaForward
      @NorthCarolinaForward 2 месяца назад

      According to Warren Buffett, dividends are less valuable for growing businesses and more suitable for established ones. Investing in companies that offer dividends might be seen as parking capital for steady returns, especially for those relying on portfolio income. This approach resembles bond investing, serving as a means of generating consistent earnings.

      a downtrend offers an equally high-yielding avenue if you have the necessary skills and knowledge. This is why I've been using an investment advisor to scale up during this difficult time, and it's the only way I've been able to raise up to $150K in the last six months. It all comes down to technique. The downtrend gives you room to focus on the market and grow-substantially whether in the long or short run.

His philosophy of life comes down to three or four basic truths that he consistently highlighted so it became a bit repetitive when Stephen insisted on asking existential questions :D

    If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

    These are extremely useful rules for anyone looking to grow rich. Unfortunately, the majority of individuals that see this video will be unable to implement the ideas. We may not like to acknowledge it, but as Warren Buffett famously stated, investing is like any other profession: it takes a certain amount of knowledge. It's no surprise that some people are losing a lot of money during the bear market, while others are profiting by hundreds of thousands. I'm just not sure how they do it. I now have around $570k to invest in the market.

      Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely result in increased financial freedom. Individuals who understand money and investing may make sound judgments about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made more than $350,000 in this recession-influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was done through a financial advisor.

I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. I think people severely underestimate the effect of authoritarian parent-child relationships. I resonate so deeply with his struggle stepping away from what his dad wanted for him. I experienced the same with my mother, and it f*cked me up mentally for years. The guilt, the shame, the feelings of self-doubt… and then the subsequent blaming of your parent for not feeling safe to express your authentic self in the first place… phew. It’s heart-breaking once you recognize that your parent only sees you as an extension of themselves vs a living, breathing individual with your own aspirations.

I’m playing the long term game, so I'm not too worried but Jim Cramer mentioned there are still a lot of great opportunities, though stocks has been down a lot. I also heard news of a guy that made $250k from about $110k since the crash and I would really look to know how to go about this.

      Have you ever considered your parent had pain in their childhood and that led to them treating you that way? Have you considered that they acted that way for you and not to hinder you? Have you ever considered telling your parent how they make you feel? Parents are just people like you and I. Alot of children hold grudges over mistakes that any other could also make. Maybe your parents actions kept you on a path? It seems they care deeply for you. A child's perception of a parent is just that. Because they've never patented. Judge them only after you have parented. Then you'll understand much better.
