    Hi, Mel... you are the only presenter I've come across who makes people think of the possibilities of what can be done with the materials at hand. Every other presenter I've seen has a specific task to achieve, which is okay, but you actually make people think beyond the task. I really appreciate your presentation style. I bought a CM a few years ago but never used it. I think I've found a purpose for it now after watching your presentations and am looking forward to exploring Canvas further, too. I'm also thinking of getting a new SNC that has Wi-Fi. I've been inspired!

    Great video one suggestion: If you fill the shapes with different colours before dividing or subtracting, it helps the viewer understand better what has happened.

    Hi Mel,
    Thanks for all your determination in finding out how things are done. I have used canvas for a few months and find that if I fill the shape I've just made with colour, then if I have to click back, I know when I've gone far enough when the colour disappears.
    You were having trouble with the screen getting bigger, if you click edit, then view and fit to mat it take you back to the start size. You probably won't see this but thought it may help others. Also you can create an offset line for the A by unclicking the outside line only in the offset tab.

    Thank you Mel. I got a bit confused in the end, especially when you were experimenting and switching for using the CM series to tje DX- got both methods in my head and left unsure which i was supposed to do, lol! . But will rewatch and hopefully the penny will drop! xx

    Wow I need to try Canvas Workspace! Somehow I missed what the USB is all about, so I will rewatch. I have cm350 and I am just learning how to cut images but I do journaling also so making stencils intrigues me. I had my unit for a year and couldn't do much with it and almost sold it! So Thank you for showing me how much more I can eventully do. I even talked my friend into gettig one!

    Thanks for this! It was so informative and Mel, you were so clear and easy to follow. One suggestion I have that would certainly help me follow along, is that if you could actually print / cut some of what you are showing, it would emphasize to me which parts are getting cut and which aren't (if that makes sense). I know I can try it all on my own, but if I knew what I was trying to achieve, it would help me with "next steps." Thanks again for this!

    Hi Mel thank you so much for begging so informative I enjoy learning with you. I have only had my scan n cut since Christmas & I absolutely love it, with you help I have learnt so much. My husband bought me a stylus to use on canvas workspace & it’s brilliant, watching your show I can’t help thinking how much you would benefit by it.

    FYI- when you have a zoom-in out issues, instead of reopening, you can click in the zoom % and enter a value that is close to where you were (i.e. 48%-which appears to be your default)

    New to this concept ofinking(?)my computer with Canvas Wk. Space to my Scan & Cut. Have a CM 360(?) that is several years old. Will it accept and download over WiFi, the Canvas Work Space? Is there some place I can go on line to get step by step directions to do this? Or is there a RUclips video that addresses this beginning process for folks like me who still have it compartmentalized & not talking to other programs? Appreciate any help you can offer.

      I also wanted to know, so I looked online and it seems it's a collection of ready to use patterns on a USB that you buy, so you don't have to do the work creating them.

    Hi. Can the scan and cut CM900 cut a pattern 9 inches high by 12 inches wide? Thank you

    • @innovationhub5182
      @innovationhub5182  3 года назад +1

      Hi, the cutting size on a 12x12inch mat is a little under 12 inches. If you require a 12 inch cut or larger, we recommend using a 12x 24inch mat :)

    Going Back to SS screen printing t-shirts, and can find little exact directions on how long after printing a t-shirt do I then heat set with an iron, then wash (what temp) to set. Do I put it thru a dryer too or just iron it to set? Would appreciate any help from those of you who have experience with the Screen Sensation printing set & inks. Thanks so Much!

    • @innovationhub5182
      @innovationhub5182  3 года назад

      Hi Linda, when printing on to fabric, allow the ink to air dry or speed up the process with a hair dryer so it is touch dry. To heat set the ink to make it permanent, use an iron on the reverse of the fabric as hot as the fabric will take (check the labels for heat). Once heat set, this is now machine washable at 30 degrees. We would recommend air drying any washed fabric.

    Sad that someone spent years uploading this content and then the channel died. All that time and effort for 500 views.
