Thank you so much Dr. Kate. I would like to know more about SPM. I just bought the supplement from your site but need to know how it works in the body. Thanks in advance! Best
Hi there! I have a couple videos on raising low ferritin levels that you may find helpful. ruclips.net/video/QHqu0Lsv9Jo/видео.html ruclips.net/video/zuJXtBjZb1I/видео.html
@DrKateLyzengaDean My ferritin level is 247, I am F aged 62. I had been taking a multi vitamin w iron, I stopped the vitamin after I got the results in. My HS-CRP is 5.62, and Interleukin-2 Rec (CD 25) is 977. My liver function is in normal range, I don’t have Diabetes, nor metabolic syndrome. I do not have an autoimmune disease nor any joint pains. I might have gingivitis, could that be a cause? I’m doing low carb since February ‘24. What do you suggest?? Thanks.
Could certainly be the multivitamin with iron AND gingivitis - while I can't make individual suggestions here on RUclips, I do typically suggest re-testing ferritin every 4 months
Thank you. I went to a new Dr in-network and brought my lab reports. He told me to come back NEXT YEAR for my annual and he’ll re-test! Meanwhile high Ferritin can affect ones heart if left untreated through venipuncture/blood donation. This health care system sucks!
Mam i have watched your previous videos on ferritin levels. Want to ask you that i have just done my CBC and figured out that i am having hypochromic anemia. Doc has suggested taking iron supplements for 4 to 6 months. Do i need serum ferritin test? I have told my doc that i have very thin brittle hair. Can iron deficiency lead to thalassemia?

While I can't make individual recommendations here, if I were you I would ask for a ferritin test 👍🏼
@DrKateLyzengaDean Thank you so much doc!
You are explaining very good. Never seen a doc like you❤️
My Ferritin is 324 but my iron is slightly low. I have been experiencing high/fast heart racing. What can I do?
