I prefer the trigger on the 887 or 845. The 850s trigger feels stiff just like on the atomic drill. For me it’s Quite uncomfortable after a while. 887 or 845 are much more comfortable imo.
The small power stack (1.7a) is decent for finish carpentry cause it’s lightweight and offers enough power to easily drive cabinet screws and small tapcons into concrete but for anything exterior or structural you’re gonna want more power. The 5a power stack is okay but other batteries have more power
Ive had one going on 2yrs. Done everything i needed it to from everything to everything lol. My metabo hpt triple hammer feels amazing for smoothness compared to this, but hey each to their own. With powerstack 1.7 it really can get in there
I was very excited to buy this tool when It first came out, but after using it for 3 or so months I've came to the conclusion that it's still inferior to the m18 fuel and even a base brushless makita. I wanted to love this tool so bad it's just too bouncy.
@@UltimateToolReviews power wise the m18 is superior then dewalt then makita but the smoothness is really what I mean which I would equate to the overall quality of tool. Not trying to ruffle feathers just my opinion as a electrical contractor.
It’s alright. I made a work bench out of 2x4 and 2x6 and the DCF850 barely kept up. Found myself using DCF887 more to drive all those screws. I’ll says it’s great for light jobs and all around but to drive tons of screws with powers DCF887 hands down

Throw a power stack in there and it’ll be even smaller!
Which power stack? I have the 5ah power stack and it’s long lol

Because it's less powerful?

it’s not meant for power. it’s meant for compactness.
@@camw6990Makita is just so dang smooth and well made. The Milwaukee is a hell cat, the Makita a BMW 7 Series.
Greetings. How has it performed during long ownership?
Many mention that the reception is bad?
Are there any downsides?

The 850 and 887 are the exact same speed in all 3 modes. There is no way it *barely kept up*
