The Makita 18v LXT Line is basically Dead in the U.S. right now , Makita did us Dirty. Besides their Drill and Impact Driver , I can't remember the last time Makita Updated their 18v Core Line of tools 🤔, Yep Makita Sold Us Out .... 😡🤬

My Ryobis have been as solid as the other brands I use. All this effort to compare brands is a bit overdone.

You have a point if you have to buy 1 tool, then the Metabo would be a good choise. But in my opinion, if you need more tools you have to decide a platform you want to use for the coming years. In my case, I decided a few years ago to go for the LXT platform of Makita, so I wil always looking for the best deals in the 18v platform of Makita. Thanks for the review 👍

I found 2 of these triple hammer bolt kits on clearance at Lowe's for $119 ea. picked up both. Looks like Lowe's is not going to be carrying Metabo hpt. My local Lowe's doesn't even have the Metabo hpt display anymore

I love your reviews. One thing though, the silent mode you speak of is actually a higher torque mode. So if you’re ripping thick lumber it will slow down but power through it.

I’ve had this impact for well over 4 years and although over time it gets a little louder because it’s needs maintenance, it still doesn’t get anywhere near as loud as a regular impact driver! Highly recommend this impact, when you’re in cabinets or confined spaces you’re really grateful for how quiet it is and its got plenty enough power

The bad thing about the high trucks is that catalytic converter thieves have it easier too. We've lost a few on our trucks at work.

Gloves are a good idea. Used motor oil has some nasty chemicals in it that's hard on skin & other parts of your body

honestly they r only good if u have a special tool u dont use often from another brand otherwise if u want to use it on a drill or smth then dont u will save ur tool and battery

I used to go to Take5 for my Ram 2500 oil changes and they are up to $160, I can buy the oil and filters on Amazon for $63, I am finally just DIYing it now. Crazy how fast they raised prices.

I got a set almost 10 years ago and I just got another set recently because I lost most of the first set but they are still good

Did a challenge at work between my dcf961 and my co workers 3/8 snap on which is the same size as my mid torque dewalt, anyways his couldnt take off some old rusty mudflap bolts of an 18 wheeler mudflaps and mine did it with easee 🤣🤣

Metabo is charged with compressed air, if you increase psi it sets nails more. Filler valve is available from metabo vs Milwaukee uses nitrogen.

Husky kobalts Crapsman all rubbish. I think homaks are better. I got a snapon roll cab that holds 2400lbs way more than those boxes. Got it half off list.

In Australia it's a DUC400, and the Oregon chain that came with it is a 90PX056XMK (3/8 x .043 x 56). The saw works really well, even on our hard woods. I use batteries from my other Makita tools, i.e. 4Ah through to 6Ah and always keep the chain sharp and look after the bar. Be careful, and cut straight.

I've always bought DeWalt tools and they did the job. But, my jobs are around the house. Recently it occurred to me that I might not need DeWalt tools to get the job done. So, I started buying Ryobi tools. So far, so good.

They use to make tools for Makita and Bosch and then they went off and made their own i guess

The Makita oil impulse impact driver costs more

I just one delivered about 2 hours ago, charged the battery and cut up the trunk of last years xmas tree(wife uses branches for some hobby stuff). It cut way,way better than i was expecting. I got it on a deal from Temu and paid about $45 for it. Just like the one i just watched. I highly recommend it!

Cheaper than the $38 Makita impact driver I bought on Aliexpress. Mine was new though. I was curious what it would be like for $38. It does run. I believe it's the Japanese version not sure. I do know the U.S. bits fit fine. I haven't put it to work yet. Probably 3in deck screws to tighten up several loose boards & replace a few boards

I will need to replace the chuck still, but oiling them often helps them last for a bit longer, this was a $20 eBay special.

I've always liked hitachi/hikoki / metabo HPT but in my experience they don't handle falls well and the batteries seem to be prone to failure. In this case you take away the easy insert colic and I'm going with Makita. I prefer a little more power from Makita since they're getting their ass handed to them by everybody it seems but the tools ease of operation and smoothness overshadow that especially when you consider you're not going to be using a 1/4" impact for large lag bolts that often.

I just bought one of these a month ago and I also bought the chainsaw and brush cutter attachment and they knocked 100 bucks off of each one of the attachments excellent deal. It was like 425 all in with taxes for the main tool and the two additional attachments

I just bought their tablesaw. When I looked it up it was all stellar reviews. When I got it home it was missing the adjustable leg. So I contacted them through the website. I wasn't expecting much. I got it on clearance. But what they gave me was worse than I figured. A sorry. Return it. Or here is a link to purchase the parts you need. They didn't ask a single question. I could of paid full price for all they knew. The link was useless. I ended up finding a better supplier for the part on my own. Needless to say I will NEVER buy anything they produce under any of their other names too no matter how good of a deal it is. Fooled me once. Bye bye. I have the same policy with Rigid.

Thanks for the vid, recently started building out my tool line, and I picked Ryobi over Craftsman, one main reason is I have a Home Depot near me, but Lowes is much further away.

A lot of you have ridiculously high expectations from craftsman. I will remind people that craftsman under sears never made tools and were a bad client. they couldn't pay the bills. SBD bought the name only, paid almost 1b for the company, and had to start from basically 0 as sears burn so many bridges. They also did spend the money to build tools here in TX. Unfortunately, we have lost too much experience as manufacturers. Now i feel like some people never paid attention to warranty at sears, only the hand tools had lifetime warranty, lights, power tools ect never had it. Its like people only remember the good stuff and ignore the garbage they sold. Now price, most of the tools are reasonably priced, i mean, you can get a 256pc set for under 120$ constantly. Sometimes, they go to 99$ 😅. The screwdrivers set are under 20$, and no Milwaukee set is close to that currently, unless it's on clearance. The ratchets are overpriced, but they have been improving them slowly. Now, you can get a slim model that replaces the old ones. The V line is almost all rebranded facom, expensive for some buyers, cheap for those who know what the equivalent facom cost. They also go on sale offten, that's the time to buy them. Overdrive(mac rbrt), good quality, and cheap. Go price out the MAC version, easily 1500$ for something similar. Sorry, the power tools were a joke under sears. The current line is much better. The RP line is excellent, with some hidden gems. Overall, they are a mid range tool company like they have always been. It would've been nice to see more usa made sets, but people are addicted to cheap stuff. Usa manufacturing has a price, and it aint cheap.
