- This SUV is incredible. Speed, space, luxury, styling, handling, and much more! My only worry would be the reliability of a Volvo. Historically they haven't been the most dependable vehicles. The t8 xc90, plug in hybrid, seems to have all sorts of problems. This t6, twincharged, is more reliable and dependable from the research I've done.
I had more fun in this Volvo than in any SUV I've ever driven. It seems too good to be true...does the reliability hold it back from being perfect?
I love my 2017 XC90 T6 R-Design.

I bought my ex one, fun nimble 2.0. Hers was a polestar R design and pretty zippy
a small hyena in front of the tank LD 570.
The exterior looks dated
Looks like it's a facelift of the 2000 model
Interior though is amazing A new class they just set the bar
Volvo are not know for reliability but they also not know for unreliability they are average
This new engine is yet to be proven and it being supercharger,turbocharged and also you get hybrid version wirh this makes it very complex and complicated to work on All this makes it not to be too reliable as many parts to go wrong
Volvo is also known for expensive and costly for service and replacement parts and with all this technology with engines and the interior tech makes it a costly car to keep
But otherwise it's a break from the typical Germans that have become boring

Although they are owned by the geely the chinees
Geely just provides Volvo with production money just like Tata Motors does with JLR! Whether Volvo is owned by a chinese holding whatsoever..... I don't really care
