Few years playing RA3 and i STILL learn new things. Never noticed clearance lights on allied buildings. Then again, i was busy suffering from AI, so... And i double someone's question from comment section: where does this intel come from? Still, great video.
"Showtime, fellas!" - (RA2)Allied MCV "Get in position, comrades!" - (RA2)Soviet MCV "As chosen by Yuri!" - Yuri's Army MCV "Prepared to deploy!" - (RA3)Allied MCV "We're on!" - (RA3)Soviet MCV "This location is approved!" - Rising Sun MCV (Yes, I made the ones for RA2 up...)
There was some clear doctrine differences that offer own benefits like Allied using basic tank designs vs. soviet heavy tanks and Allied large surface fleet vs Soviet submarine fleet. But was is just game design that Allied had no airplanes at first Red Alert. Yet they used old fashioned anti air guns (and turrets vs vechiles) to counter soviet air while soviets had missiles.
Nice. It should be noted that Yuris MCV had a close semblance to the Soviet MCV (tracks, looking like a railroad, sturdy). This shows Yuri still held a close connection to his Soviet heritage, I'd say
No mods, only the original content is talked about here. Also why talk about a mod whose campaign clearly shows that the mod makers *KISS YURI'S ASS!?*
You're missing a segment here: Red Alert iOS wasn't just a crude port of Red Alert 3's gameplay (much like how C&C3: Tiberium Wars on Java was). It was a mini-continuation of Yuri's Revenge, an epilogue of sorts, which showed how the Soviets recovered, the first iterations of certain technologies we'd see in Red Alert 3 and new ones which were erased, and it showed the Empire's formation (IIRC). This pertains to the current video because we actually see the first iterations of the Allied, Soviet, and Imperial MCV's and Construction Yards, which were the successors to the Yuri's Revenge models.
The issue I have with the Red Alert iOS game is that it is nearly unplayable today. The game was removed from the app store in 2014.The only way you can even have a chance of playing the game is to acquire an older ipad/iphone and then find and download the game off some third party abandonware app site. I'm not entirely convinced that a near unplayable game should be considered canonical.
@@Jethild It was made as a direct prequel to Red Alert 3, and it shows the events of a post-Yuri's Revenge world and a direct lead up to Red Alert 3 proper. Love it or hate it, it's canonical (unlike, say, Red Alert: Online). Funnily enough, Tiberian Twilight Mobile was the same: It was also a prequel to the actual game (and the "Night Moves" pre-order bonus mission for C&C4 itself was also an immediate prequel to the main game, too). As you said though, it's near impossible to find/play; luckily there are plenty of playthroughs on RUclips from other people, so that's the best I think we're going to get. :(
@@JethildIt doesn't matter if the game is near unplayable or not though? Canon is cannon regardless of how players feel about it. The same could be said that RedAlert 3 shouldn't be considered canon because some people don't like how cartoony and goofy it was. Just because something is hard to directly access to play doesn't mean it isn't canon.
Damm, i wonder if we'll have the same thing happen for Mental Omega mod For RA2YR, I want a detailed talk through of all Mental Omega Units including the Foehn
"Unlike Truxton however, Maxim would end up dying in a Siberian gulag before his name was cleared" I mean, Cherdenko pretty much BECAME Stalin in Red Alert 3 did he not? First having you attack Krukov by pitting the failed assassination attempt on him then turning on you.
Wait, I thought that the intro to RA3 was basically the end of the canon story of RA2, not the aftermath of a war that happened after the events of RA 2. They even reference Romanov's loss being the cause there.
There was this Red Alert iOS game that was released back in 2009 which had a single player campaign that had to do with the Soviets starting a new war with the Allies after the merging of the timelines in Yuri's Revenge. In that war, the Soviets managed to steal some of Einstein's research so they could use it to create a time machine which is the one seen at the beginning of RA3. This mobile game was removed from the iOS store back in 2014 and is pretty much unplayable unless you have an older ipad or iphone and find the game off some third party website to download. I'm not sure if the events of that game should really be considered canon though due to the difficulty of even trying to play it today.
Can you eventually do Tempest rising and some of the command and conquer mods like rise of red corona, twisted insurgency and paradox? Keep up the good work If you want to do another series, you could do HomeWorld
So, Romadolf.. it's hard to say whether it was truly his will, or that of Yuri, who mindcontrolled him to be his puppet. But I'm more inclined to believe that Yuri Masterminded the whole thing from the start.

Aside for Tim Curry, RA3 has Sir Jonathan Pryce(Elliot Carver in Tomorrow Never Dies), George Takei(Sulu in Star Trek), JK Simmons(Omni-Man, J Jonah Jameson, Cave Johnson, Terrence Fletcher, should I go on?), Peter Stormare(Lucifer in Constantine), Ron Yuan((MK11)Scorpion), and Kelly Hu((MK1)Li Mei, D'VORAH DOES NOT EXIST!)...
@@louievelayo4100 hopefully I'll see them when if he adds cutscenes to future videos.
Few years playing RA3 and i STILL learn new things. Never noticed clearance lights on allied buildings. Then again, i was busy suffering from AI, so...
And i double someone's question from comment section: where does this intel come from? Still, great video.
There's the Command and Conquer wiki for that.
Great stuff as always.
"Showtime, fellas!" - (RA2)Allied MCV
"Get in position, comrades!" - (RA2)Soviet MCV
"As chosen by Yuri!" - Yuri's Army MCV
"Prepared to deploy!" - (RA3)Allied MCV
"We're on!" - (RA3)Soviet MCV
"This location is approved!" - Rising Sun MCV
(Yes, I made the ones for RA2 up...)
One thing to note, the Empire's nano cores can crush infantry so they're not completely helpless
*CORE RUSH, HURR!!!*
(spams Dojo Cores to Deja Vu!)
If you travel back in time, you can do anything you want because you have already done it, so nothing will change.
Here we go!!
Nice.
It should be noted that Yuris MCV had a close semblance to the Soviet MCV (tracks, looking like a railroad, sturdy). This shows Yuri still held a close connection to his Soviet heritage, I'd say
Always amazing!
When you rush a crane you can build anywhere when you pack up your mcv and move it to locations. Pretty flexible gameplay.

The Djinn?
What movie starring Andrew Divoff was that?
Yeah, I only know Andrew Divoff as the voice of Kravchenko in Black Ops...
"Construction Complete!"
I have a question regarding "Tempest Rising". Will you cover that game as well?
And to this vid: It´s good to see some allied power construction
Can't wait for part 3 - Generals' Dozers and Dune's MCVs.
Love the mention of the ERS androids
Go Jethild, go!
Fun fact: empire of the rising sun construction mode was inspired by EARTH 2140
I was like RUclips refresh then let’s goooo
You have to include the Mental Omega mod for Yuri's revenge, the Foehn Revolt needs to shine as well.
No mods, only the original content is talked about here.
Also why talk about a mod whose campaign clearly shows that the mod makers *KISS YURI'S ASS!?*
Three Disparate worlds.
And at the crossroad of fate
One man, and his time machine.
KEEPING THE GAME ALIVE.
RA where if you win as the allies you get RA2, but if you win as the soviets, the timeline turns into C&C Tiberium wars.
Only few more into the Apocalypse Tank.
empire: can build an advance identical robot that can't be distinguish from a man.
also empire: can't create an their own design for an MCV.
Its more like the whole idea and concept of MCV that empire can't implement, so better stole it and modified to their extent 😅😅😅
I love this game I grew up in this time! 💪🏻
4:02 All right, what does a war hero need to do to get some LUBRICATION 'round here?
The Imperial MCV reminds me of the Thundercats Thundertank.
@@KimPossibleShockwaveThanks for letting me know of canon lore I was unaware of. I really appreciate it.
Damm, i wonder if we'll have the same thing happen for Mental Omega mod For RA2YR, I want a detailed talk through of all Mental Omega Units including the Foehn

Its time!!
"Unlike Truxton however, Maxim would end up dying in a Siberian gulag before his name was cleared"
I mean, Cherdenko pretty much BECAME Stalin in Red Alert 3 did he not? First having you attack Krukov by pitting the failed assassination attempt on him then turning on you.
A mix of Stalin and Yuri to be exact...
Without Yuri's mind control shenanigans, of course...
NICE
This is a good Victory Day reward for us.
Very interesting 🤔 lore video
Keep up the good work
If you want to do another series, you could do HomeWorld
Love it,noice.

So, Romadolf.. it's hard to say whether it was truly his will, or that of Yuri, who mindcontrolled him to be his puppet.
But I'm more inclined to believe that Yuri Masterminded the whole thing from the start.
