Hello Dianne, I would like to say that your comment touched my heart. I only get to go out of my room once a month to see the doctor I see my family as often as I can but they live a distance away so I love to wait to see what my grand children will say when they call. I only have one or two friends that I see rarely but we pick up where we left off when we see each other so painting and sketching has become my lifeline. God bless you and I will keep you in my prayers.

I am 81 and just got back into my painting! Love it , love it! I paint every day, get up in the night if I am restless and paint so obsessed might be a good way to describe me. Thanks for sharing your skills and encouragement. Love seeing that there are some other senior ladies also loving your tutorials.

Thank you so much for the beautiful tutorial !!. I would like to reach out to all the lonely people watching Emma. In some way, we all feel alone, personally I have severe PTSD and have had to work SO hard to deal with it. It is not for the weak that is for sure and I will give all the credit to my Lord and my husband. God put paint in front of me and in a way said “do something with it “, I know I will never be as great as Emma, but in my recovery I know I don’t have to be. Be brave everyone, be kind to yourself, don’t think of what you don’t have but what is in front of you, it was placed there for a reason…so paint, however you are able to. You may very well be another Emma, so let’s all thank her for her beautiful gift that God gave her. Thank you Emma, you are an awesome person ❤

Emma, you have gifted us with your being in many ways. I have suffered from depression for decades. I am better now, but I do understand that existence. Please keep doing whatever it takes to find that lift for your spirit. I love your work. I'm 67 years old, retired and water coloring for the first time in my life. My mother was a superb award winning water colorist when she was alive. I am putting brush to water to paint for the first time, and I can't get enough of it. THIS tutorial is so awesome. It gives me the pass to create without having to top oneself, to keep trying and most of all to enjoy painting. I've watched a lot of water color artists on RUclips, but you have a unique and charming way about you. God's speed dear lady. And thank you.

Hi Cindy I hope you don't mind me commenting. I understand and agree with your comment. A year ago I was hard put to draw a stick figure but thanks to Emma and a couple of other artists I have learned so much and now I am feeling confident enough to frame my art and display it on my wall. I went through a very long battle with cancer and it was difficult to be a patient because I was used to being a nurse! Then my MS got worse and August before last I had to be resuscitated and because of lack of oxygen have deficits including blindness. only some vision in my right eye. So now I have to spend a lot of time in my bedroom and the only interest I have is my art and artist as kind as Emma have helped me to feel a passion for something I didn't think I could do. So thanks to God, to the wonderful people who enjoy art and the special people who bring it to us I am blessed. I will pray for you and #Diane_Burns.

Keep positive and never let negativity get to your spirit. Keep focused on your Joy and see with the heart through the arts.I'm a cancer survivor and heart attack survivor. It's hard to keep from folding up and hiding under the blanket sometimes. My mother had slow blindness in her later years and she kept painting! God bless her.Strength through God has also helped me keep going. I wish you love and joy in whatever you do. Emma is an inspiration for a lot of people.

Gorgeous! Both turned out great but what makes the first one better, in my opinion, is the contrast between the yellow and purple. You managed to get them really close in the first one without making mud, and because they’re complimentary colors, it makes them pop. Both are fantastic though.

And you do an impressive job of teaching people of any age how to get the look. I subscribed so I can always find your work. Thank you so much. I don't know how this painting escaped my Emma radar, but WOW! After being gone for many weeks (and sketching GREAT stuff with a tiny, cheap set of 8 paints) I can tell you that it's really hard to get back to painting anything that actually RESEMBLES anything! Lol. So I know what you mean, Emma, about happy accidents and screwing around. Always happens with my cheap supplies too. Dang it!

(PS: I see now that it DIDN'T escape me--only my memory did. Lol. It's certainly worth another go-round!)

This is a very good painting tutorial and I love how you talk your way through it and give such inspiration to all artists as you move along it's so refreshing to hear you as much as watching you. By all means, keep doing what you do so well and the flowers are lovely.

So nice to watch and see how these flowers came about with your brush. Very soft and delicate looking. Wish I could capture the looseness with watercolors. I try to hard to make them do what I want them too.

This is the best watercolor painting I've ever seen. I'm really in love with it 💕 I've tried but didn't achieve the same, since I use cheaper materials as a beginner. But one day I'll get it :) your tutorials are very helpful, thanks for it 💕

Today I had the same feeling about watching these videos! The clocks have turned back and long dark nights ahead welcome some brightness from these beautiful watercolors!

Quiets not a bad thing. We are concentrating so hard watching you we probably dont notice if you stop speaking. I would love you to show the ones that didnt work out, not necessarily the whole video, just the final result.
I really liked the softness of both of these paintings Emma. Its amazing how you answer my questions even though I am only thinking them at the time ha ha thanks so much. I am now a subscriber and look forward to many more tutorials or even just watching you paint. Thanks and have a beautiful day :)

This is beautiful, you're so talented. I'm going to give this a try today. I love loose and abstract watercolor painting, the way you sort of have to surrender control and just go with it.

Hi Emma, thanks for mentioning how many times you had to do the tutorial, just like me and how many times I do a painting to get it how I like it. This little painting will be a greeting card. Thanks again

Hi! I LOVE your videos! I tried to make exactly like yours but it wasn't the same. This is my first time using watercolor paint and you helped me A LOT. I'm taking my paintings to my Grandma so she can put them in her house. I couldn't have done this without you 😊😊😊👍👍👍. Thanks again!

Excellent instruction! I'm going to try. I know I won't ever be a great artist, but if I can do something and frame it for my wall, I'll be satisfied. Thank you for taking the time -- I am a new recruit to watercolor and am starting from ground zero.
