Would love to see a video on how this does in deep snow

Yea, likewise. Maybe the Fastlane Car guys out in Colorado will eventually do something. Snow has been hard to come by around these parts. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching and for the question. I just went back and linked the full review video to this short one. I am not too surprised by your range at that temp. In the full review you will see we were getting about 18-20 miles at best when the temps were in the mid 30s. I think toward the end I mention that folks in warmer climates would be ok but cold temps dramatically impact these small batteries. But overall hybrid only mode is quite good and still returns good fuel economy.

We have a full review video on the channel that covers the range at temperature. Be sure to check it out. Short answer is that we got about 18-20 miles out of a full charge with temps in the 30s F. Thanks for watching and happy motoring.

This is a 9 second video that is supposed to be fun and demonstrate that in EV mode the systems stays rear biased and only send power to from electric motor as needed. Fast lane car and driving sports tv have good off road reviews and may do this one. From the description ‘Tons of fun in the snow with Mazda’s rear biased AWD CX-90 PHEV. In all modes Mazda allows a generous amount of wheel slip on the rears while engaging the fronts as necessary. The system is quick, natural, and very affective’. Yes it does very well in the snow but the. most important thing would be getting a good set of all weather tires or snow tires. That is more important than the AWD system.
