Will always take the CX-90! Understated luxury SUV without the luxury pricing!
Lynn,
The b roll you showed of the Mazda interior is only available on the inline six in the highest trim. The PHEV does not receive the sumptuous interior nor the console in the center row.
Great comparison Lyn!
phev can have more problems. as much as i like them to save on gas. charging is a pain unless you live in a home or your work has a charging station.
MAZDA is the most under rated car. I miss my Mazda 6 signature
PHEVs are future for a loooong time
I have the Grand XLE. I wish I could afford the hybrid for gas. ⛽️
Do a comparison of the X5 50e and the Lexus TX 550h+. PHEV vs PHEV, BMW vs Lexus
Grand highlander any day! The CX-90’s wet clutch sucks 💀
How do you know it sucks?
@@corysnow7811 I test drove it, thinking it would be a cheaper German replacement. But you feel how un-smooth it is in shifting from 1st to 2nd. So every time you accelerate from a stop it jerks and not in a smooth turbo way.
Both including pilot are better
"Has a lot more cargo room when both rear rows are folder" - Is that a new measuring system? "A lot more"? What happened to a measuring tape? 5 minutes to measure width and length is too much work. I disdain lazy reviewers. No value added.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mazda has a very clunky drive train...with 2 separate clutches! One for pure electric mode and other for ICE mode...thats just nutty and not needed. And many recalls thus far.
Toyota vehicle, interior is not as pretty as Mazda but its reliability, low maintenance, super mpgs (hybrid), great resale, etc ...makes it my top choice hands down.
So if you want 'pretty' get a Mazda, if you want one of the most reliable vehicles in the US, go with Toyota.
High quality like the tundra or some other Toyota engine recalls.
Also the Mazda has had 5 recalls in an year. Yikes
Don’t you mean Mazda CX90/CX70 ? 😁. Mazda made two of the same vehicle, one with the third row removed. I guess in 2024, that makes sense 🙃
Grand Highlander are made in USA. Mazda made in Japan. If you value quality, pick Mazda.
Not true unfortunately. This first generation Mazda PHEV has been plagued with issues, and already has 5 recalls in just this first year.
Hopefully resolve these in the next model year. Just a reminder to never buy a first model year of a new vehicle.
@@Supertrooper697good to know! Thanks for sharing. I will hold off.
this 2 dinosaurs are reluctant about EV era
Glad for that!
Most people don't want an EV, especially for a family SUV with 3 rows. For a road trip, a hybrid is the way to go. You get more range than an ice vehicle and you can fill up in a few minutes compared to an EV which takes from 30 minutes to 45 minutes just to get a couple hundred miles of range before you fill up again.
"EV era" -- Come on, you don't even own a car. Stay on your scooter in your 15 minute city, and make sure you do not procreate - it's bad for Earth. 🤦♂
That’s easy Lyn
Ones a real luxury car and it shows in the looks interior materials fit finish and driving experience
The other one however… 😬 not so much… it looks boring, the interior build quality materials, fit finish make vinfast Tesla and old GM products look better. Ouch. Not to mention old tech, pathetic driving experience and it’s way overpriced
Cx90 wins
Real luxury 😂 relax
@@preoksaha4504 yeah the cx90 is real luxury
Clearly you must be a sheep who has no ideas to what real luxury is
@@naveenthemachinedoesn’t look like real luxury to me, however either of these offerings look like a great place to sit and drive around in comfort and have features galore. CX90 will be a bit more “dynamic” but of course being these are three row CUVs perhaps that isn’t a huge priority.
Is that Mazda CX-90 pretending to be a Mercedes again...🤔
When did they try?
How embarrassing for Mazda to be compared to Merc. Mercedes rates so poorly in quality.
It is ridiculous to see boats like this on the road.
