Don’t worry about the people making fun of u the setups you have are pretty cool and this tutorial was useful. i couldn’t find a lot of good videos for guppy grass on RUclips since people don’t really take this plant seriously thnx for making this 7 minute video.
Thank you..... I'm in the process of starting my own guppy tank. I didn't know the first thing bout guppy grass or how to put it in your tank. I think I got it now. I will be checking back in on other stuff you are doing.... it's Interesting.you mentioned some times people make fun of you. Don't fret bout the haters. They make fun of me too. I think your video was interesting and informative.
Scissors, what for? Just rip out a hand full and plop it in any tank with water and light (I’m using a $4.00 led shop light) this stuff will take over!!!!
Thanks for the video. Anyway, I couldn't find certain info from google about guppy grass. Q) Did you mean guppy grass will root itself when you float it? Q) If I plant guppy grass by rooting, what is the recommended distance between each? Q) Can I still plant other plants if I plant guppy grass even a small amount? Will it overrun my tank and affect other plants? My tank is 50 gallon. Hope you have answers....thanks very much
Yeah! Guppy grass tries to root itself if there is substrate. If you drop a few strands in (your choice of quantity) and just let it be for a few months, it will basically place itself so you don't need to try to space it. And yes it will completely outgrow your tank within a year!
I kept Najas guadalupensis in aquarium for several years, and it was thriving. But this year, it's starting to decline instead of multiplying like before. Has anyone else experienced this? How long does Najas typically last through vegetative propagation, and what’s the best way to bring it back to health? I’m a bit lost and would really appreciate any advice! (I've read that Najas guadalupensis is usually considered an annual plant in nature, but it can last for several years in aquariums through vegetative propagation)
Ooow perfect timing thank you for this video, I just bought a small clump of this like maybe around golf ball size clump my tank is a 10 gallon Square tank I'm in the UK front-to-back and side-to-side it is 30 cm I don't have enough yet for cover for the fry I am wondering if you can give me any idea of when I will have something like what you have in your tank great video thank you and also I'd vote for planted tanks Emma
Never listen much at all too those who criticize or laugh at anything your doing. Hind sight in 20/20 and they are trolling as some expert in their own mind. They fail sometimes too. They just have the gonads to put their things where the World watches them, or they'd face the same trolls like they can be.
My guppy grass is melting lately. I think it’s from a heavy fish load and poor water conditions. I don’t think I’ve seen roots, but I grow it floating with no substrate
Throw in some leaves or use driftwood to make your water softer. Leaf litter is great and makes your tank look really natural if you have a substrate that pairs well with the colors. Leaves and wood also release tannins that can make your water look a little murky but they have anti fungal properties and other benefits for your fish and plants.
That stuff looks a lot like Elodea, we literally call it waterpest as it can grow REALLY quickly like Najas Guadalupensis likes to do as well Elodea is a nice plant for cold aquaria.
Thanks for the info ma dude , but the real question from my side is Why do you need that massive tv when you have so many aquariums to look at ? Lol . Anyway beautiful setups. Nice and simple .
I like this plant for the beginners it is the easiest plant I've ever seen to hold it in your aquarium and keep your fishes healthy! But anyway it's not the nicest one!

If you can’t find guppy grass, what would your next alternative be? Feelings about hornwort?
Yes it’s what I used when I couldn’t find guppy grass.
You can buy guppy grass on ebay lol
Guppi grass is better and easier to make it grow!
Elodea, you can even find local varieties out in the wild.
Nice setup
Make all of the tanks green it looks better and it will make the tank clearer and prevent diseases
What about co2?

Can you use super glue gel on this plant?
You can on any of them!
What plant is that under your TV? Left tank, tall one.
jungle val
Our PH is so high and the water is so hard that almost no plants will grow. Trying several rooted plants and guppy grass right now.

I would recommend looking up leaf litter tanks to get more of an idea. You can always start off with small amounts.
What is that stem plant on the left side?
That stuff looks a lot like Elodea, we literally call it waterpest as it can grow REALLY quickly like Najas Guadalupensis likes to do as well
Elodea is a nice plant for cold aquaria.

Night Lacie ❤
Any light links?
My guppy grass is Turing red :( I don’t know if I have the light on to much or what please help
sometimes if the light is super bright, the part that is closest to the light can turn a pinkish color
I don't like guppy grass because is a messy plant. Is impossible to aquascape with guppy grass. I removed this plant from my tank.
I like this plant for the beginners it is the easiest plant I've ever seen to hold it in your aquarium and keep your fishes healthy! But anyway it's not the nicest one!
It's not really an aquascaping plant, it's more for fry tanks and quarantine tanks to give fry or new fish a place to hide in.
Myguppy grass died but my Anubis survived …
The more green the better. In my opinion. Lol
a cleaner burning diode? lmao
