She needs to get the energy within her out, be it screaming, or beating those drums and cymbals like the owe her money. She just loves music so much and oozes happiness, enthusiasm and energy when playing.. it's contagious.
That scream, too! It's like she just channels all that energy and unleashes it on the band and crowd! And when she does, it hits like a tidal wave! I am so happy for this young lady! She's going to go FAR in the music industry! (or anything she wants to, for that matte!)
I’m a 50 yr old grown man and I have been following Nandi ever since her challenge video last year. In other videos you see them rolling out her kit and it was awesome to hear people shouting her name right then because they knew who was coming out. For this little girl to have thousands chanting her name gave me goosebumps and not going to lie maybe a little misty eyed. Then to see her perform Flawlessly and see her personality and confidence in what she was doing and she totally crushed it! I believe we all just witnessed the birth of a superstar
Could not have said it better my self but I admit I'm jealous when I was 11 to did not have no talent except dreams Nandi is definitely an old soul in an 11 year old

Not a doubt about it. I've watched this and the other angle videos, dozens of times. Watching Taylor watch her bang those drums though. He looked jealous, bit his job isn't in jeopardy.
I'm 42. Gonna follow this kid however far she wants to go with it. I'm a fan! Maybe, she'll take the same turn Grohl did. Start singing. Just gotta wait and see.
If there was a test that was it. She got up onstage with her idol in front of thousands of people and absolutely slayed. Nandi is the real thing. Can't wait to see what she brings in the coming years.
I bet you Taylor might have thought. Holy shit, " Son i guess now I will be able to go on vacation, i 've found a great drummer to do some gigs on my place", seriously ahuahuahua

Yeah, watch as he gravitates to her and butts spots to be closet to her, even apologizing to fellow gutarist for cutting in. At that point they all congeal upon Dave and Nandi.
As a bass player, I can absolutely agree with you. I play weekly with a pretty damn good drummer but one night I got to sit in with some REAL pro musicians. I could not believe what a joy it is to play with a drummer who is just spot on the mark EVERY TIME. You don't really appreciate it until you get that experience .
There are a few videos around of other drummers talking about this performance. One of them says, "She's driving the band." That's exactly right. A good drummer sets the rest of the band up and leads them. Technically, she's awesome. But to have the stage presence to drive a band of the calibre of the Foo Fighters at her age is almost unbelievable. She's a once in a generation talent.
She was just so stoked up there, but she wasn't rushing or otherwise letting adrenaline get to her. She has a really bright future. I'm really glad when I see youngsters like Nandi motivate themselves and put in the work.
On drummers like her, adrenalin helps to focus but same time let go and just let the music flow through their veines changing heartbeat to drumbeat. You can see by her mimic how her brain speaks a different language while drumming. Most outstanding drummers do that. Sadly, as a kid, i had to quit drumming because of neighbours, newborns, no space to be loud at and all that stuff, but i know the drummers feelings, at one point arms and legs are just automated by your ears, controlled by your heartbeat, you barely feel what you do, you just do, let go the control over your limbs, let them use the muscle brain instead.
Not sure how she ended up on my YT feeds , but after a yr. of watching her, this was a day of pure joy to watch and re-watch. To me this is how I'd imagine if Linus from the Peanuts played the drums...head thrown back Goin to town!

20 people are sad dave didn't invite them up on stage to play with him On the bright side theirs a kid loving every minute of life what a great thing to watch 👍😁😁😁
perhaps 2 people who did not have the chance to go to this concert, because of flight restrictions, sold out tickets or they totally missed it. I am a bit sad too, that they do not have a concert together in central europe, but that would be VERY difficult, esp. during these days. But I would never downvote on something joyfull like this. Only hope, one day they will be touring together around the world.
She is obviously an amazing talent. One of the coolest parts of this view of her performance is watching Taylor Hawkins and his son Shane watching the performance together. Rest In Peace Taylor. God bless you Shane and family.

Here in April 2022 and watched Taylor the whole time and you can just see how genuinely happy and proud he is for Nandi. Class act, gone too soon. :(
This girl is such a badass!!! Love seeing Taylor in the back smiling the whole time!!
This young lady is an absolute delight! "Nice shirt" lolol! (Dave's shirt from drum battle days)
I love watching Taylor in this. He is so impressed. RIP Taylor. God I miss you ❤️
Pretty Awesome! This kid nailed it. If Hawkins ever falls off stage and breaks a leg, she has my vote to fill in for him.
Mad respect for that little girl
The essence of The Song Everlong. They will have this soulful and spiritual connection for ever.
You nailed it.
Kudos.
awesome display By Nandi....... !!!!!!! Just AWESOME!
20 people are sad dave didn't invite them up on stage to play with him
On the bright side theirs a kid loving every minute of life what a great thing to watch 👍😁😁😁
You can tell Dave and Taylor are so proud of her. They’re both just happy as hell. She’s good…I’m going to go subscribe and see where she goes.
She's so freaking geeking out! awesome video. What sorry sad sack downvotes this?
perhaps 2 people who did not have the chance to go to this concert, because of flight restrictions, sold out tickets or they totally missed it.
I am a bit sad too, that they do not have a concert together in central europe, but that would be VERY difficult, esp. during these days. But I would never downvote on something joyfull like this. Only hope, one day they will be touring together around the world.
I think this is my favorite concert video ever. Just a really good story that we all needed. Tears.
She is obviously an amazing talent. One of the coolest parts of this view of her performance is watching Taylor Hawkins and his son Shane watching the performance together. Rest In Peace Taylor. God bless you Shane and family.
She's an amazing force and just watching her grow and becoming a multi instrumentalist is incredible. She is progressing at such a fast pace; it's truly amazing to see this kind of talent take off.
It's so beautiful I cry every time I watch it. Dave is the best! So happy for Nandi :)
And on that night we all came together with love and the love we have for music
cant stop smiling watching her doing her thing... she is a positive musical elemental... awesome!!
Handled her business like a Pro. Frankly, Pretty GD Impressive! 🥰🔥💥👊🏿
This girl is going to be a massive star! What an amazing talent!
This will never fail to bring a smile to my ageing face man. They jammed with legends of the past, but I've never seen a band jam with a legend of the future to come. Well done Nandy, and thank you Chrisedge for sharing.
Looked as this performance from different angles countless number of times and it just never gets old. Outstanding!!!
Taylor in the back "guess i'll take the rest of the tour off"
LOL!
I already love this song. Nandy, made me love it more. 😀 ...thank you, Nandy !
The part where she screams gives me goose bumps and makes the tears well up, what an amazing moment. One of my favorite songs ever and this just puts such a positive twist on it.
This is just pure, positive energy. Cheers to Dave, the Foo Fighters, and Nandi!!
Dave Grohl up there being a natural guardian for Nandi for that entire performance. As a girl dad, this performance brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it.
she has got this ....what heart!
Great job Nandi 👏🏾 you are blessed.
Just heard of Taylor Hawkins passing.
RIP 🙏🏽
Condolences to his family 😔
I freaking LOVE that she screams at the top of her lungs when she's at the song's high points and just SLAMMING those drums! Nothing but love and respect for this kid! I think Dave is her biggest fan!
This is why I love rock n roll. Way to go!!
This is just pure joy. I couldn’t stop smiling.
Dave is just a super nice guy.
Nandi though, how talented is she! Got a great personality to go along with her incredible skill. You’re a star young lady. I’m looking forward to what’s to come in the future.
Thank you for this in the tough times in lockdown we are currently experiencing.
This is soooooo good, the Foo have always been awesome and this just proves that one day in the not too distant future...they'll be in the hall for ALL the right reasons!
Great version of this. Was good to see her face, which is so wonderfully expressive. She's a bright spark for sure
This kid is so amazing to a point I became a follower on RUclips and Instagram.

moment together.
8:08 She said NOTHING! 🥰
On a big stage drumming her heart out, she certainly said alot. Respect! ❤
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME Nandi is the Real Deal! 11 going to 11!
Crushed it! I am so happy for Nandi! Thank you Dave Ghrol for keeping your word to her. She is amazing 🤩
I love this more than any words can express. I cried with pure joy. This young lady is what music IS: energy, emotion, joy, love, EVERYTHING that’s positive!!⭐️⭐️⭐️🤯🤩 I’m 48 and have been around music in all aspects forever. My brother, daughter and nephew, we’re all musicians for the joy of it. And this whole thing here is so beautiful. The world has gone to hell and this is a bright wonderful thing!!!
Great video, my friend. Audio is fantastic. 👏👏😁🤘
I've watched MULTIPLE different videos of this and this one is, by far, the absolute BEST quality. In most of the other ones, you can hardly even see Nandi. This one has been saved to my favorites!
Great capture of this magical performance!! 🥰🇨🇦‼️
my goodness! look at the expression on her face! so much joy and fun! She is going places!
Love this so much for Nandi ! What an amazing experience.
