I absolutely adore this young lady. Been following her for about 3yrs now. I can’t wait to see her 10 yrs from now. She is so amazing. And I’m so drunk on her enthusiasm.

yeah truly, so excited to see where she goes in the future
So proud! SO PROUD! I've been watching Nandi growing up as musician! She´s sounds so AWESOME! A true influencer! Already a drum master!! Inspiring, nice and funny! Nandi's mom and dad and, of course, NANDI! CONGRATULATIONS!
Unbelievable. Getting a little teary-eyed watching this very young lady play!
I played this entire song at 240 bpm in 6th grade and won my local battle of the bands
and then my alarm clock woke me up
Duuuude! I did not see that coming!!!
😅😅😅😅😅😅
Lol lol
buddy was late to the studio band at 6 am
What a jewel this girl is! And such stage presence at 13. Just wow!
Nandi, darling, just wanted to say thank you for a) doing Caravan justice and b) more, importantly introducing the younger folk (40 and younger, giggle) to the intricacies of jazz. I look forward to watching your progression in your drumming career.
Cheers from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦!
Wow.
Holy Cow.
Like 5 years ago I thought something like "yeah, another prodigy child on youtube,...".
But now... This caught me off-guard.
It's, seriously, astonishingly good!
I'm not talking about age at all, I'm talking about musicality, kick-ass playing, vibes and feeling, on a very, very high level! It's in no way like "she's good for a 13 year old" but "she's good for a drummer".
Absolutely cool!
Fat respect!
Meh.
@@marca9955Is someone jealous? 💀
@@marca9955yeah unless it's someone else. What 13 year old playing this?
@@illegalsubstance953he full of shit 😂
With brilliant and beautiful souled youngsters like Nandi involved, music is in good hands for the future ❤
I don't think you're using the word "soiled" correctly
@@cheappoetry2798thanks for the heads up, ducking autocorrect 😂
Wow, this sounds like what if a rock drummer played a jazz standard. I mean it as a compliment, it's super cool! Definitely has a rock feel, and it sounds great.
What a inspiration. I've had a drum kit since I was 16 and still can hardly play. I am 33 now. She is a true inspiration!!!
You better get on it then!
My left hand doesn't want to be a drummer.

I don't know how many music school grads could play that hard and with that feel and those smiles! Nandi you have come so far - I can't imagine all you'll do in your artist career as it blossoms. Bravo!
"Practice, practice, practice... and have lots of fun." Thanks #NandiBushell I'll continue doing that. You're an inspiration. God bless...
Came here to make a “not my tempo” joke but no seriously-Nandi rocked this. Hard ass song and she crushed it!
Still not my tempo 😂
Me too!! She is amazing!
Wow. She has gotten so clean in her playing. I can't wait for her to start creating her own art if she hasn't already. What an awesome human.
Just the joy she has playing an instrument with passion and a smile on her face alone, gives me joy...and the result is musical bliss, thank you for sharing your talent
I literally almost started clapping at the end of the performance, but then I realized I was at work. Man, I wish I could have started playing the drums when I was younger when I wanted to. It's too noisy, she said. Luckily, I have a wife now who supports me making noise, for the most part. Now I'm just trying to catch up by using Drumeo and learning new things each day. I know I'll never be up to Nandi's level, but at least I've got a start now with Drumeo's membership. Thanks for your inspiration Nandi!
It’s so uplifting to see young and talented jazz enthusiast. Our future is in good hands.
I played this video thinking that it was A Rush cover of Caravan. I was blown away... what a magnificent performance! Neil Peart would be proud of you! 🥁 🤘🤘
Her personality and smile had me hooked in the first 10 seconds; her amazing skill (especially at only 13 years of age) reinforced my admiration of/for this young lady.
Oh my days... I could never do that... the dedication it takes is just wild. she's wild !! loved this !!
"not quite my tempo".
amazing performance, Nandi!! 👏👏🔥🔥
I’ve always loved watching her perform, especially her facial expressions! It’s like pure joy!
Nandi, you technique is crisp and your rhythm is perfection! Thank you for sharing your gift and your journey with us all!
If I had listened to this with my eyes closed, and someone told me it was Neil Peart, I would not have questioned it. Nandi, we know you rock. But I, for one, am so excited to see/hear you getting into some jazz playing! You go, girl!! Awesome!!
And there you have it, the first person to mention Neil Peart when there was absolutely no need to.
@@elmhurst86 and what is your point?
@@MarkColden Please take your meds.
@@elmhurst86 I am paying Nandi a compliment by comparing her rapidly developing drum skills to one of the best of all time. I am encouraging her. Go stuff yourself!
@@MarkColden Lol! Ok, whatever floats your boat.
It’s so great seeing her amazing drum journey unfold in real time 💛
She saying: 💐🌸🌼💮 She playing: 🔨💪🏾🔥
May you have many joys in your profession, you are great and you really left me perplexed with your talent. Congratulations and a fraternal hug from Brazil 🇧🇷
My goodness, not only is she utterly adorable and endearing, but she is even more so an utterly and mindblowingly talented and gifted drummer. Wowzers!! 😲👍😊
Growing up with this song which was an intro from a quiz WIE VAN DE DRIE on Dutch TV in the 1970s. I am 63 now and still loving this song ! The intro was played by jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery and his band. Wes is a self toughed guitarist from the United States. Your performance is simply outstanding!! On a good hifi system walls start to shake when I am playing it!! The sound quality is exceptionally good on You Tube. All my love from Holland Patrick Gijselhart.
The sheet music alone would have intimidated me, tough song well played! I saw this in my feed a few days ago 😅 wish i did not wait so long to see this awesomeness!! Bravo Nandi Bushell 🎉👏🤗🥁💯
OMW!!!!! 😦😦 AMAZING! Such a great job for anyone to learn this. So young, so talented, so passionate.👍👍
MY MIND IS BLOWN!!! 😮 Keep doing your thing young lady.
She is a cold blooded KILLER!!!! It felt awesome witnessing her play the drums like a perfectly coordinated savage
You, my young lady, are a great musician. Not just for your top notch execution but because it's clear from a distance how much fun you get out of playing.
Don't stop, keep music with you forever. I really admire you!
Nandi you are an amazing musician!!!! It been a pleasure to watch your hard work and growth, may God continue to keep his hand on you and your family, much love and appreciation for all you're doing!!!!❤
Great🎉!! Also whoever micd the drums
And cheers to the sound people. Amazing sound
OH WOW! I wish my grandfather and mom were still around, he was a huge Duke fan (and played horns for big band) and my mother was a drummer in an all girl band in the 70s. I wish I could show them your stuff! They would both think you are amazing!
This young lady never ceases to amaze me. She is doing exactly what she was put on this to do! Keep it up kid!
MINDSET is EVERYTHING! Hard work pays well! Bravo, Nandi! Bravo!
Her joy is contagious ~ and those skills!!
" If you've got to the end of this video "
Hell girl , couldn't take my ears off ,that is pretty
bloody impressive , thanks for the trip.
OMG Nandi is so fun to watch. It's such a pleasure to watch her musicianship grow year to year. Duke Ellington would undoubtedly be proud. It would have been awesome to be a fly on the wall and watch Nandi and the late great Neil Peart just talk about jazz drumming.
And always with a smile on her face. Love this girl since the first time I saw a video of her. So much talent. Keep it up Nandi.
Been seeing her videos for years now so after watching this and seeing how far she’s come (and she was good from the start), I have to say - it’s nuts that a 13 year old is this good. Kudos!
It's been very cool watching this young woman grow and mature in her playing (which has always been impressive).
One of my favorite film, jazz piece, and now music performance in YT
Grössten Respekt an dich Nandi.
Ich bin überzeugt, du wirst mal ganz Grosses erreichen. Ich freue mich darauf 😊
That high hat foot on the upbeat is insane!!! Seriously this is unbelievably impressive for anyone let alone a 13 year old! 🔥🔥🔥
Drums were my first instrument. This makes me want to get back into drumming. I was never nearly this good. Nandi is incredible, and well on her way to being one of the all-time greats.
You really did an amazing job Nandi!
she keeps going - she doesn't stop to amaze people. Go Nandi!! Can't wait to see how you will leave your footprint in the music world - "BIG TIME"!
Now I am waiting for the reaction videos to this one.
Nandi has been putting out videos for about 4 years now. She plays drums, guitar (and bass) and keyboards. Her father is a musician and he encouraged her interests (Dad's out there - are you listening?) and she does not disappoint. She and Dave Grohl have challenged each other on drums and it was pure joy to watch them interact. She has so much personality and charm. Can't wait to see where her future takes her, but I'm looking forward to that ride. You're a free spirit, Nandi. Keep us all posted.
This young woman is absolutely wonderful, and so is her amazing drumming ability. Pure pleasure watching this video.
51 year old dude humbly bows, you got talent that’s for sure kid. Going to take your rendition and steal some parts for practice tomorrow, thank you!!! 🙏🤘✌️
