Shunkoin is lovely. Xerjoff, Casamorati and Sospiro have/had some fantastic fragrances. Such a solid, sensible, intelligently curated and well-balanced line up. I really enjoy hearing you share stories about how you wear fragrance, not just reviews about the scent itself. I like knowing how you make decisions with something as aesthetically subjective as your fragrance wardrobe, y'know, with all practical considerations that are made privately and often very rapidly before leaving the house for the day or night. So the occasion, climate, mood, your outfit and grooming and other quirky subjective elements all conspire and challenge your choice for that final accessory, the olfactory, esoteric one. I find people endlessly fascinating.

Great line up! Here in L.A there's no real winter so we imagine how winter might be! I remember when I was in New York how real winter was🗽and I remember the scent of my gf was fidji by guy laroche & on her it was amazing in cold! Cheerio dear🥂

Look they are both beautiful and the dry down to me is the same. It’s just the opening that’s a little different so if you can’t get the older version I probably wouldn’t lose sleep over it

Would you say that ormonde woman has a vintage smell? I’m interested but I dislike vintage scents and unfortunately I can’t smell it before purchasing. Thanks
Sorry I missed your comment earlier. Hmmm I don’t think it smells entirely vintagey, but it’s not a safe blind buy by any means. Some people really dislike it.
